I had it shortened (to the ankles) and it has a tulle overlay and material underneath with is a hassle to get the best results and I needed the bust closed up a little. Greatly priced too as I'm quite frugal. I could not have asked for a better job done. She doesn't have 5 stars for nothing! I think I found a place set in bringing wash day back old school. Constantly on search for a cool laundromat I stumbled into Happy Hamper and glad I did. They have a good size parking lot which is a huge plus in the city. Paved clean and smooth. Looks fresh that tells you they care about their property. Upon entry I noticed the cool hanging art happy wallpaper and the modern decor. I also noticed how clean spacious and well appointed it is. And it smells good in here!! Then the music. AC/DC cranking jams out of the speakers, then a 50s tune, then a song in Spanish and loop around to more cool rock and pop hits. The vibe was immediately set. An eclectic crowd and something for everyone. The machines are clean well taken care of and folding tables clean and newer. Reasonable prices and a very well taken care of spot. The televisions played a mix of sports and cartoons. In the corner a baby high chair for customers with children. The attendant Sam was really friendly and welcomed me and was busy keeping things up. That never happens in a laundromat. She obviously runs a tight ship. I haven't been in a decent laundromat like this in a long time. I now have a new home. Easy Breezy is about a mile and a half away and since I didn't think about needing to wash until after 7, proximity was helpful. As has been noted, it's very clean. They also provide wifi for customers which is nice, since sitting in a laundromat is one of the lost boring tasks known to mankind. I was the last person out of the place at around 9:30 and the employee was vigorously washing all of the machines as I was finishing up. Prices range from about $4 to $11 per load as of August 2022, depending upon which washer you use: $3.75/20lb, 5.75/40lb, 7.75/60 lb, and 10.75/80lb. Drying is a quarter for 12 minutes. Last wash is at 8:30 and if you don't get your stuff out, it's subject to donation. They do drop-off service as well, starting at about $1.20 per pound. Delivery can be arranged as well.

Both the left and right walls are completely filled with dryers, so there are always plenty of empties to choose from. While there isn't a ton of stuff to do in the immediate area, I have been able to pop over to a neighboring Vietnamese restaurant for dinner while waiting. I was a little annoyed, but I was understanding and came back the following day around noon. Saturday at noon, they told me my clothes would be done Monday and to come back then. I stated I needed them that day because I had an event later, and that's why I dropped them off 5 days ago. The girl at the register said: "That's not our problem." and walked away. I ended up buying a completely new outfit last minute for my event, but I came in that following Monday to pick up my clothes. The girl at the register started laughing, stating they lost my black dress shirt, but I still had to pay for it, being it was still dry cleaned. Annoyed, I decided to cut my losses, pay, and never come to Eve's Cleaner again. Once I got home and inspected my clothes; my blazer reeked of cigarettes smoke and had cigarette holes and burns in it (I'm a non-smoker and I'm never around cigarette smoke), my two white shirts were pale pink, as if someone wash them in hot water with red clothes, and all 3 pants looked exactly the same! (Worth noting that he spoke fluent English & the only help I needed was a brief translation of the person who had my phone) I was very respectful & pleading with him because my phone contains photos & videos of my dead father. Thankfully, there are good people in this world and the super kind customers helped call & translate the call for me. S/O to the sweetest mother & daughter duo who saved me. They are goddesses.
