I love the customer service here and the ladies are always helpful. The problem is the customers cutting in line, stealing baskets and leaving their dryer sheets that are freaking provided to them , all over the floor and dryers. They also throw open the doors and almost hit pple in the face. They basically take their anger out on the workers, I see it everytime I come. They get angry if someone has their clothing taking out because the left it too long on a busy night and of course leave the dryer sheets to be passive aggressive! This spot has had multiple thefts in the last few days. I personally lost three $100 bras while there last night. Another customer had three Nike Techs stolen the same night. Police have been called multiple times this week. Manager said they can't watch everybody, so no security and no cameras being checked. They got ROACHES crawling on the machines. If you value your clothes, find another place. I won't be stepping foot back in there again. read more

Who likes doing laundry? Admittedly, not my favorite chore, but this place makes it a breeze! Recently the washer & dryer broke down at my place, & while initially annoyed, I wouldn't have found this place if it hadn't happened. On my first visit, I was nervous coming in, not knowing how to use anything (all machines are touchpad & it's best to use the app), but the manager was amazing at helping me conquer my Mount Laundrymore. Gone are the days of laundry being an all-day event. You can get many loads done in an hour or less. Yes, really. While cost is more than your average laundromat, all detergent, softener, & dryer sheets are included. Being Tide - there are also the hypoallergenic options, which I more than appreciate. The dryers don't take long either & you get reward points if you use the app. Another bonus is getting a notification when your wash is done, & which machine it is. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Did I say this place is immaculate? Because it is! This place puts your building's laundry room to SHAME. Last - it doesn't have the usual vibe of miserable folks, dragging their laundry around. This isn't my building's filthy basement laundry! Or the mediocre machines crusted with cheap, nasty detergents found at other laundromats. It's immaculately clean, bright and well staffed with friendly people who are continuously sweeping and helping while also tending to wash & fold orders. It seems expensive, but the cost includes quality detergent, bleach & dryer sheets. The front-load washers come in varying sizes and the dryers dry MUCH faster than anywhere else. It works out to be less expensive than other coin-op options. At first I chose a jumbo machine and the attendant pointed out that there was still room for much more. I kept adding and it comfortably held what equaled 3 1/2-4 "ordinary" loads! Many people use Tide to wash oversize bedding, camping gear, throw rugs, etc. that are too big or heavy for their home machines. The fact that nearly everything dries (almost wrinkle free) in 30 minutes was pretty incredible. The cost for dryer time in 6minute intervals is very inexpensive. And... for every cycle you pay for, you earn points toward future loads. I avoid busy weekends and early evenings, but even then, it's still possible to find machines, a rolling basket and folding table. Been going there for several years now and I'm still amazed at the convenience, quality, cleanliness and value. I've even converted several neighbors who've ditched our dismal, dirty basement laundry amid the lockers and bicycles. read more

Modern, clean, big laundromat with a high tech scan-to-pay system. You log onto their free wifi and then are able to control the networked washers & dryers. Detergent, bleach, softener are dispensed in the machine according to how you set the front washer panel. I do 1 triple load machine with extra time & soap for $8.50, a half hour. The dryers are very cheap and efficient, which balances out the cost. Lots of workers on hand for help or to keep the place sparkling clean. read more

Our dryer is out. Until it's replaced, I will be using this laundromat. It's not the closest to my house but it's it's worth the (shirt) drive. It's clean! Upload the Tide Laundry app (be sure to type in the word laundry). The app will make things easier and more convenient for future visits. You don't need to bring in laundry soap either!! The dryer sheets are free! The machines are quick and efficient. The place is large enough and the patrons aren't suspect. (And the ones that are suspect keep to themselves LOL). Anyways, try it. The other reviews are spot on - a little more expensive than your typical laundromat, but your typical laundromat it is not. Everything is included and automated. The app makes everything very easy. I'd come back here for big jobs even though I have a laundry facility in my building. The facility is five stars. The reason I'm writing this review at four stars is to comment on another customer who was there this morning. This was a large older white man who was having issues with the machines and being flat out abusive to the staff. He was screaming across the room, to the point where every other customer in the laundromat was watching this in disbelief. He was harassing both all of the staff and saying things like "I'm the customer and you're the employee!" I spoke to one of the staff and she said he comes and does this EVERY WEEK! I ask the owners of this laundromat to ban this man from coming to your facility again. He is abusive and completely inappropriate - if this were a different situation, someone would have called the police on him today. Your staff were wonderful and handled the situation extremely professionally, but this is not to be tolerated. This man should have been thrown out and told never to return. read more

Im not going to lie, it's very convenient not having to carry around detergent when doing laundry. they provide dryer sheets, plenty of folding tables & if you don't want to use coins to wash, the app is very easy to use. staff is friendly as well. one problem however, is that some of my white clothes that I can't wash with bleach unfortunately doesn't get washed properly, could be a problem with the machines. other than that, this laundromat is a great improvement to the neighborhood. tip! wash with the gain options, leaves all my clothes smelling great for weeks! read more

I am truly blown away by this place! From the moment you walk in, you can see how clean and well thought out the layout is. Staff, including Tony (the owner) stand ready and more than willing to help. I will admit, I have never been to a laundromat where you don't have to bring any detergent or fabric softener. They provide it for you, automatically in each machine. Touch the screen on the brand new machines and off you go! There's even an app where you can get points for doing laundry, pay (the machines do accept quarters for us old school folks), and even monitor how much time is left on each machine. Visited tide laundromat for the first time today. Took a little figuring out how to use the laundrypay app on the washer and dryer but the young Ladies who work there explained everything to me after that it was easy Peezy. Tide laundromat is extremely clean, plenty of room to fold your laundry when done and enough seats to accommodate everybody who is there. Another plus is they have various sizes of wash machines so you can do small or medium or large loads. The wash machines have the option for the type of laundry detergent you want to use, along with fabric softener and if your clothes need to have bleach used all pre-filled amounts so you don't have to worry about adding anything when you start your wash. read more

I have been using Tide Laundromat since they opened. I mainly do large blankets, rugs, etc in the big machines. It's a great laundromat but what bothers me is that people park their cars right in front of the building blocking where the sidewalk ramp is and they just leave it there. Staff should really be telling these people they can't park there, but they do and say nothing. This is the situation practically every time I come there. read more

I love coming to this place, I wish there were more facilities available like this in the Chicago area. Having the benefit of having an all inclusive experience with a laundromat is evolutionary. I love that don't have to worry about lugging around detergent, bleach, fabric softer or dryer sheets. I tend to still bring my own but this place even offers the in-scent laundry boosters which is a plus! I can just bring my laundry and go to work! The dryers are also very large and have the capability of tumbling back and forth to ensure that the clothes dry completely and prevent wrinkles. I have yet to use the drop off services but based on the upkeep of the facility- I am sure that the ladies do an awesome job. The first couple of times that I came here, I received some of the large reusable signatures Tide bags. My clothes look and feel better! read more

It's not cheap but if u consider that the machines are new and detergent it's included, it would not be a lot more expensive than the crappy old laundromats if not the same. The Customer Service is awful. I called three times. No one answered, and then you get a recording about needing a code for voicemail. I finally got through, and a lady rambled on about loads being $5 to $15 for jumbo dryers. She was going so fast that I couldn't figure out what was $0.25 per six minutes versus $5 per load. All I gathered was that the laundry detergent is included. When I asked how much was a load without the detergent (because I unfortunately break out with several detergents and must use my own), she said, "I'm sorry," hung up the phone and refused to answer again. I'm assuming if I physically went into the location, they'd actually answer my pricing questions. But the phone service matters as much as the in-person service. I'll pass. The fact that each location can choose its own rates and they won't put it publicly on the website tells me they can increase and decrease as they see fit. read more

We recently had our washer break down and needed a spot to do laundry while we got a new one. I would NEVER go to a different laundromat other than this one! It was an incredibly easy to use the machines and the cycles are crazy fast! They have multiple size washers and no need to bring detergent, fabric softener or bleach as this is customizable (and included!) with each wash.
