I cannot recommend Prasada highly enough as an event planner. Let me the five top reasons why: 1. She is calm, steadfast and truly mindful in details and countenance. (Her second 'job' is helping people learn how to regulate their nervous system using breath work.) 2. Our weekend - which was at a venue (our retreat center, Whispertree Retreat) that was largely outdoors. The weekend weather went from hoped-for blue skies and billowing white clouds to a 30 degree temperature drop and rain forecast. Prasada patiently held the line assisting us with a Plan A, B AND C for the weekend, depending on the weather, a call we would make the morning of. I cannot tell you how much forethought this took! But Prasada did not complain ONCE. Rather, she held the course and even spearheaded the final plan C option that eventually turned out to work perfectly(!!) for us. 3. During the event, itself, Prasada spun plates behind the scenes. protecting us from a few (unavoidable) things that happened - some of which I STILL think we don't know about. 4. I really care about details and how things look. Beauty is so much a part of what people can notice and feel that helps make an event feel warm, welcoming and heart-opening. Prasada gets that, too, and has a great eye! I really trusted her to set things up just as I asked, and even improve on the outcome. 5. Prasada ALSO works at an event rental company. She has years of experience understanding issues related space and rentals and could probably help you address these issues in her SLEEP. Please do not think twice about hiring Prasada for your event. I enjoyed working with her so much that one thought I have the morning after it all is: What's the next event we can work on with her?! read more

Prasada was our month of coordinator but really she helped from the moment we hired her on! Our wedding was in the Mendocino area and she had all the local connects, which made planning that much easier. She helped us every step of the way and made sure the day ran as smooth as possible! I did not have to worry about one thing on our wedding day, she handled it all! If you're looking to have your wedding in the area, we recommend you hire Prasada. :) read more

Working with Prasada was the best decision we made for our wedding. We chose a logistically challenging venue hours from home, but her knowledge and experience made everything so easy. Every detail -- from the timeline to the décor to coordinating vendors -- was handled flawlessly. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day without a single worry. Couldn't recommend her more! read more

My daughter was recently married at the Mendocino Botanical Garden in Mendocino, CA. Her and I both live in different states and areas as the wedding location, so planning and coordinating were a bit of work. My daughter hired the services of Prasada for wedding and event planning. I am so glad she was there to guide us both. From the moment we met her the day before the wedding through the entire wedding evening, she was more than happy to help with every detail that had not been discussed or add on's, with little notice. I can not give Prasada enough praise. My daughter said she was so happy with the wedding and her husband told me it was magical. I believe both of those statements say it all. If you are in need of a wedding coordinator, look no further. A happy and grateful mother of the bride...Thank you Prasada! read more

We hired Prasada for her partial wedding planning and wedding coordination services for our wedding in Boonville, CA. We absolutely loved working with Prasada! We were planning our wedding from out of state and knowing that Prasada was familiar with our vendors, venue, etc. was extremely helpful. Prasada is kind, professional, organized, and always made time to answer questions, big or small. I didn't stress for one moment about any of the logistics or details during our wedding weekend because Prasada had everything so under control. She paid attention to all the details, and helped our vision come to life in such a seamless way. I can't recommend her enough! read more

I can't say enough to express how thankful we were to have Prasad by our side at our Ft. Bragg wedding October 8th 2022. She thought of everything and kept us on track month by month, hour by hour, minute by minute. It was not an easy event to plan, everything had to be brought in and things were constantly changing, from vendor illness, and weather concerns, to venue changes, she had a back up for everything! The day of the event she was always checking in with us, making sure our every wish was handled with elegance, care, and grace. She navigated the event, the family, the vendors and our wishes perfectly. I would highly recommend her to assist with any event. Thank you Prasada for making our wedding one of the most special days of our lives!! :-) Tracy and Scott read more

Prasada did an exceptional job planning our wedding. I don't know how we would have done it without her! She made sure that everything was taken care of (decor, cake, DJ, timeline, food, flowers, photographer, literally everything) and she has a great eye for what colors and themes work well together. Prasada made sure to really listen to what we wanted, but make it come to life with her magic. She was also very organized, responding to every email and remembering every single detail we had asked for. The day of the wedding Prasada quite literally took care of everything and made sure it was seamless. Everyone commented on how perfect the day was and I'd have to agree that it went exactly how I had always dreamed, which has a lot to do with Prasada being there from start to finish to make sure everything was set up and ready to go. I would absolutely recommend Prasada in the future for any event you're planning. She is outstanding and will make sure that you have the event you always dreamed of. Prasada is amazing! She did a phenomenal job putting together my rehearsal dinner at Big River Beach. She was wonderful to work with, so organized, professional, and knowledgeable all through the planning process. Her team on the day of the event was just as wonderful. My friends and family were so impressed with the food and the team. My only regret was not getting her to help me with the wedding itself the next day! Our event with Prasada was the highlight of the weekend! read more

I hired Prasada with only a few months until my wedding and it was easily the best decision I made. Prasada was extremely organized and proactive about getting things done in a timely manner and ensuring that my vision was always at the forefront of every decision made. I lived a few hours away from where I was getting married and she even made it a point to help with going out and talking to vendors for me when I was unable to do so myself. When it came to the day of I truly could not have done it without her. I am very picky about decor and Prasada was able to completely put together all the decor and design for the wedding that I had laid out with perfect execution and I was speechless seeing it all come together. Prasada also made it a point to take care of any issues that arose without me ever knowing anything went wrong. She stayed at our wedding the whole night to help with the flow of things, directing vendors, cleanup, and ensuring me and my husband were happy and taken care of. If you are looking for an amazing planner/coordinator in the fortbragg/mendocino area you have found her! read more

Prasada is fantastic! She is highly professional, organized and made everything happen smoothly the day of our wedding and far before. We used Prasada events for our welcome dinner at Big River Beach the night before our wedding at MacCallum house in Mendocino. Everyone had a wonderful time and loved the food at the BBQ. She walked us through all the vendor meetings and options for our wedding at MacCallum house - she helped us find the perfect vendors, from cake, DJ to officiant. Having her on site for our rehearsal and for the day of really helped relieve stress and make everything extra wonderful. She assisted with all those last minute decisions and details that change that nobody really expects. On your big day you don't want to be the one in charge of party planning and direction! You want someone like Prasada doing it for you. With Prasada you are in GREAT hands. read more

Prasada was our day of wedding planner at the Heritage House in April of 2019. We could not have been happier with her services. She listened to all our crazy ideas. When my fiancee and I were planning our wedding weekend in Mendocino, we had a DIY vision for the whole thing. We wanted to do the work ourselves, and enlist friends and family to help out in key roles. As the wedding got closer, though, we realized that we were going to have to hire someone to direct the actual wedding day, overseeing our volunteer army of friends, managing rentals, catering, dealing with furniture-rearranging at the venue, coordinating babysitters, and handling all the unexpected things that we knew would come up. Our caterer recommended Prasada, and hiring her was one of the best wedding decisions we made. In the weeks before the wedding, Prasada asked a ton of great questions to make sure she understood the tone and scope of the ceremony, gave us priceless advice on how to set up the space, facilitated a few rental items that we weren't smart enough to realize we needed, and then showed up on the wedding day and quarterbacked the whole event with the tact and conscientiousness of a close friend. Wherever there was a question or problem, Prasada was on top of it. If there was a job that needed doing, Prasada did it. Having her there let us relax and enjoy the day. Her rates are fair, and her attention to detail is priceless. If you're starting to think you might need some help with your wedding, do yourself a favor and call Prasada. read more

On the Friday before our daughter's wedding in August, we hosted a beach BBQ for all of our guests (just over 100). We wanted a casual environment where we could combine lots of beautiful outdoor space, good food, activities for adults & children to achieve a festive, get-to-know-each-other party. We worked with Prasada to plan & cater the event for us and what a fun evening we had! We opted for the burgers/hot dogs/portobello mushroom menu with grilled corn, herbed potato salad & a yummy green salad. The food was terrific and everyone found something for them. We were very lucky to have a phenomenal, calm night on the beach, but we are sure we would have still loved it with a bit of wind and a bit cooler temperature (she provides blankets and builds a fire for s'mores and congeniality). In addition to what Prasada provides (absolutely everything you need), we added a guitar/singer, a shuttle to and from Mendocino for our guests, and porta-potties (as we opted to host the event further down the beach away from the public facilities). My daughter, new son-in-law, and all our guests raved about the beach BBQ and how much fun they had. Prasada was a dream to work with. She provided a clear estimate and list of options to choose from. She and her team took care of the set-up and clean-up. Her team did a terrific job - gracious, fun, and helpful. All in all, we give Prasada, her team and the Big River beach BBQ a gold star!!! read more

I cannot say how lucky I feel to have met Prasada. My (now) wife and I got married in Mendocino this July. Prasada was our day-of-coordinator. From our first call through our final hug, Prasada helped make the entire event planning process fun and relaxing. She will talk through the logistics of everything and help ensure you can completely focus on enjoying every little moment of the big day. It really is magical how she infuses joy and calm into everything. Also, at the last-minute, we realized that there were quite a few parents coming with little babies. So our parenting friends could fully enjoy the festivities, Prasada coordinated two amazing babysitters -- our friends all thought they were supernatural women that emerged from the womb of Mother Earth and cared for their children better than any babysitters they had experienced before. These ladies were pros -- they even used headlights at night to check on the sleeping babies to make sure they didn't disturb them. If you are getting married in Mendocino, I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful it is to work with Prasada. read more

My husband and I got married at the Heritage House in October 2019. Included in their wedding package was access to Prasada, a very experienced wedding and event planner in the Mendocino area. She was there from the beginning of the planning process through the moment we hit the dance floor at our wedding. She made planning a breeze and connected us with multiple vendors in the area (all who we loved and enjoyed working with) and answered all our questions throughout. What really blew us away was her support and work during our wedding weekend! Wow! We did not have to worry or think about a thing the day of our wedding. Prasada coordinated everything and took care of every tiny detail. If something went wrong, I don't know about it because Prasada handled everything! We especially appreciated her guidance during our wedding, like when she gathered sparkling wine and appetizers for my husband and I to eat in private before greeting our guests. Thank you for making our wedding so enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable! read more

Our daughter recently got married at The Heritage House in Little River, CA. Prasada was the wedding coordinator and she was fantastic! From the very beginning, she listened carefully to what Eliana wanted, then guided us through the process to make her wedding dreams come true. And wow, did they ever! Her recommendations for the vendors was spot on. All provided outstanding service as did all of the staff at The Heritage House. From coordinating the rehearsal, the rehearsal dinner, in addition to making sure to see to every detail on the day of the wedding, Prasada was awesome and did everything with panache! The wedding was absolutely spectacular and our guests couldn't stop raving about everything the entire weekend. Everything was orchestrated perfectly; the rehearsal, the wedding procession, from the outdoor setting with beautiful flowers and gorgeous chuppah, the gorgeous decor in the dining and dance areas, to the fabulous cuisine, the beautiful wedding cake, the amazing DJ, etc., everything was perfect! Prasada saw to every detail, even at one point handing out sliders herself at the rehearsal dinner. It's rare to have a wedding turn out so perfectly, and we have Prasada to thank for that. She was awesome! read more

I recently got married at The Heritage House in Little River and Prasada was a wonderful partner in wedding planning from beginning to end. She made the vendor selection process easy by providing a list of recommended vendors based on her extensive experience and who would be fit our event. She spent time understanding our vision and answered all of my questions in a timely manner during the planning process. On the day of the wedding there was a power outage, only adding complexity to the day, but she ensured that everything ran seamlessly and was only made more magical despite the circumstances. We really enjoyed working with her and so appreciate how perfect she helped make our wedding! read more

We met Prasada in connection with our wedding day festivities, but we were also unsure of what to do for our rehearsal dinner evening. Prasada suggested an evening on Big River Beach complete with a barbeque, bonfire and smores. It was fabulous; the evening for many of our guests was the highlight of the weekend. I especially enjoyed Prasada's style and how she worked with me as a client. She is incredibly responsive, thoughtful and kind. She thought of many ideas to help the weekend go more smoothly, including organizing 10+ babysitters for our guests with children for the various weekend events. This was another highlight for our friends with babes in tow. With regards to Prasada and her team's catering abilities, I have to say the food was amazing. Our pulled pork sandwiches and the delicious side dishes all came from her amazing garden and/or local resources. Truly a fabulous meal! It was a pleasure working with Prasada in every aspect. I highly recommend her and her services for any upcoming event you may have in the Mendocino area. She is fantastic! read more

Prasada was such an important person in making our Son's wedding at Heritage House a great success. Heritage House had a recent management change, and was in disarray when we arrived. Prasada was the work horse for my wedding a few weeks back. Not only was she my coordinator, but her and her team also took on the catering side of the event. After hearing my menu over one of our fun phone calls, she insisted on catering. Having her as our caterer even knocked off some of the cost of her being our coordinator, she even threw in a hired coordinator to make sure everything would get done. She was so easy and fun to work with throughout the entire process. I always felt so relieved after our phone calls and emails. On the day of the wedding, she had my family drop off all of the decorations and she took the bull by the horns. Everything was EXACTLY how I had pictured it, if not better. Not only that, but the food was DELICIOUS. She had the cutest staff of ladies serving the food that everyone loved. BEST potato salad I've ever had. I would recommend Prasada to EVERY couple out there on a low budget looking for a stressless event. Honestly, Prasada underprices what she can deliver. Thank you SO MUCH again for the best day of my life! read more

Wow... where do I start? Prasada was amazing! My wife and I used her to assist us with our wedding at the Heritage House in Little River on Saturday May 9th ... and she made a great day an amazing day. She stepped in an coordinated everything from vendors, family, friends ... basically took the bull the by horns and allowed us to relax. The amazing part about what she did is that she was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. What I mean is she was on top of everything and acting as our air traffic controller but at the same time hidden from view. She handled every issue with a calm and structured manner and came to us with only solutions. I would highly recommend using Prasada's services if you want to maintain your sanity. Angie and I cannot imagine what could have happened without her and are truly appreciative our marriage got off to the right first steps. Best, Bill and Angie read more

Our wedding weekend was one of the most incredible, unforgettable experiences of our lives, and that had everything to do with Prasada's exceptional work. Prasada coordinated our wedding itself, plus a Friday beach BBQ and a Sunday farewell brunch. Everything was perfect. Throughout the year-long planning process, Prasada was responsive, thorough, careful, organized and efficient. She anticipated needs and choices we'd need to make well ahead of time, and executed everything exactly as we wanted. Her expertise and professionalism were obvious, and we were grateful to be in her highly capable hands. Prasada and her staff were such a pleasure to work with. Not only were they competent, flexible and responsive; they were just so warm, kind, and authentic. This added much to the overall feel of our special weekend, as our guests also recognized the effects of such fine service. As the couple getting married, we didn't have to worry about a thing during the actual weekend. Everything ran smoothly, perfectly on time, without a single hiccup or hitch. She worked so hard so we wouldn't have to! And one final note: the BBQ catering was excellent. Delicious food, fresh ingredients, perfectly orchestrated. Prasada did a complete BBQ party on Big River Beach in Mendocino for us last summer. She handled all of the details including the permitting, lighting, tables and chairs and getting everything set up. Her and her staff were really great and the best part was the food. We also had a keg of local micro brew beer from North Coast Brewing which was delicious along with some really affordable local wines.
