The space itself feels modernized as well - it's bright and airy with seats around the bar area as well as tables throughout. The food here is fresh and beautifully presented and in terms of pricing, the menu feels more than reasonable. I came in right around opening on a Saturday and got a seat right away at the bar. it wasn't that busy so the place was very chill. I was greeted and helped by the friendliest people from the hostess to the bartender. I was reminiscing with the bartender because part of the reason I've been wanting to come here is that I actually volunteered for a charity event for years that the chef - Susan Feniger is a huge part of. I really wanted to try their jackfruit tinga tacos (which are 100% vegan for those who care). I'm personally not vegan, but I thought these were very delicious with elements that gave the dish texture and made the flavors pop. I also loved the house made pickles that came with the dish. Although it was early in the day, I had to order a michelada. And it is really delicious here! To end the meal, I also got the dessert empanada (a la mode). The cheese and guava went so well together and the vanilla ice cream just made it all that much better. I came here expecting to like this place, but left loving it. Such a great experience. Since it was earlier on a Saturday, there was plenty of metered street parking nearby.

Peter I cannot post videos here and you know that. But the audacity to leave the comment you left. The video shows your staff walking extremely fast and not looking in front of her and colliding into my leg. That's what it shows. My back was turned to her she was being negligent and not looking where she was going. Your rude comment rather than being apologetic for your staff hurting my post OPP leg is just itching for a law suit.

This is a great spot whether you are a vegan or not. Don't be intimidated or deterred by the menu…read moreitems, as there some unique and interesting things. Ask the servers - they are super nice and happy to explain things. I've been to the Butcher's Daughter a couple of times for breakfast and I personally love the breakfast burrito, and the shakshuka. But their lunch menu is quite solid as well. I brought my husband here for brunch one day, and got a spicy Italian pizza. Of course the impossible sausage is not 100% accurate, but it's still quite good, and satisfying. Overall, "great pizza" - from a non-vegetarian. Don't forget to try their seasonal drinks... The rose-cardamom latte was incredible!

This restaurant is just ok to me. You definitely come for the scene and ambiance, because I find…read morethe food to be simply ok and the service to be kind of mediocre. I ordered the huevos rancheros and they asked me if sunny side up eggs were ok and I requested over easy if possible. They served sunny side up eggs to me (not a big problem, but why even ask?) I also don't like that they serve hot lattes in those plastic water cups (first of all, that looks cheap like did you run out of mugs? Second of all that means these cups are too hot to hold for a couple minutes!) When I visited the WeHo location, I remember liking my latte (that was served in a mug), so I was pretty disappointed. Also just anything hot in a plastic container makes me feel weird consuming. Also justice for those sitting on those tiny stools, because not only are they tiny, but you're in the busy aisle so people are always bumping in to you! Wish I had a chair with a back. One good thing was that this place doesn't rush you when you're seated and finished eating, which I really appreciate! They let us sit and yap for awhile when lots of other places try to get more tables open. Overall, it's a cute place, but I'm never excited to go when this restaurant is chosen lol.

The entire staff was incredibly kind, and the manager, Luis, was very attentive, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of. The food is beyond amazing -- everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Since my first visit I have come back multiple times, and have received outstanding service each time. I came on Valentine's Day and it was beautifully decorated. It was also EXTREMELY BUSY, and again, Luis stepped up and became the backbone for his staff. From hosting, serving, bartending, and working hard to make everything flow smoothly. I have such a wonderful experience each time I come, not only with the food but also with the manager and staff. The restaurant is very clean, which makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. No matter the time or how busy it is, my food comes out in a reasonable amount of time, and nothing ever feels rushed or forgotten. What really stood out to me was how much the manager seems to genuinely care about both the staff and the overall environment. He was constantly moving around, checking in on everyone, making sure guests are happy and that his team is doing okay as well. It's really warming to see that level of dedication and leadership. Overall, this is one of my new favorite places to come due to my positive and memorable experiences. Great food, amazing service, and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and excellent customer service.
