Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The food wasn't very good in my opinion. I chose the turkey sandwich. Although the turkey was real turkey breast, not deli meat, it didn't have a lot of flavor. There also weren't a lot of toppings, and bread ratio was too bready. There isn't an option to "build your own" like Jersey Mikes or Subway, so you're kind of stuck with what you get. It wasn't awful, just not that good. Service made up for mediocre food.

Neither looked up to see me standing there. After six minutes standing there one looked at me. Came up and asked me if she could help me. I told her my name and was there to pickup my sandwiches. With this "you dumb butt look" and said "it's right over there"and walked off. Remember I've never been there before and I hadn't seen the shelf holding our food. Place is small with six or so tables. Got home with our sandwiches. My Italian Sub was SO WET AND SOGGY! The lettuce and thinly sliced tomato were drenched in some unidentified liquid substance. I pulled all of the let out of the sub. Leaving me with a bun that was falling apart. Torn off about half of the top and bottom of the bun. Flavor of meat was okay at its best. I ate one half Wife's Homemade Turkey sub was bland and tasteless. She ate 1/3 of one half. Two bags of chips were the hit of the meal. $29.60 wasted. Can't say we didn't try.

Trenchers Delicatessen - Homemade chips. Would be awesome if they had a chip seasoning bar. Like pickle seasoning, ranch powder, cheese powder, etc

Both sandwiches came with homemade potato chips, a mix of regular and sweet potato and they were absolutely delicious. The Dutch Crunch Sandwich was packed with turkey, bacon, swiss, tomato, arugula, and avocado mayo on dutch crunch bread. They don't skimp on toppings at all, there was plenty of turkey and bacon, and every bite was flavorful. Dalton's Double Deuce was another standout. Ham, egg salad, olive tapenade, and arugula on a fresh Italian roll. It felt like a grown up version of an egg salad sandwich. The olive tapenade adds a great punch of flavor, though it leans a little salty. And the cookies... unbelievably good. Truly some of the best cookies I've had. The Brown Sugar Cookie has a gooey center and deep caramel flavor, and the Oatmeal Cookie without no raisins, surprised me, I didn't miss the raisins at all. It tastes like it has a light honey glaze to me, and it's phenomenal. Trenchers is definitely a new favorite.

I ordered the full size, and it was huge. I ended up splitting it into two meals. My only complaint was the house-made chips. They seemed like they had been fried ahead of time because by the time I got them, they were soggy, which was a bit disappointing. I paired everything with a root beer, and overall it was a fantastic meal. Aside from the chips, I really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.

I expected to see the Fonz walk in at any moment. It was a blast from the past. Our server, Jennifer, took good care of us. We didn't have to wait long for anything. She was quick, friendly, and professional. I got a chicken fried steak, baked potato and fried okra. I started to get mashed potatoes but I asked if the potatoes were powdered. They were, so I got a baked potato instead. It was a good choice. The okra was fried to perfection and the serving was so large I had to leave half. I liked that I was able to order a small portion of chicken fried steak. The cream gravy is why I order chicken fried steak and this cream gravy did not disappoint. My cousin got the special which included soup, salad, and a sandwich. My other cousin got a chef salad. We all enjoyed our lunch and looking at the decorations. I will stop here again next time we pass through Henrietta.

Everything was smoked perfectly - even the baloney, which surprised both of us eating there - and absolutely tender. The meats aren't dripping in sauce which is often used to moisten a bad cook or to disguise poor flavors. Nope. If you want a saucy meal, it's a "self-inflicted wound" in my books, because you're missing out on some great well cooked meat. We didn't go there for side options, so reviewing them isn't the point. I did not see either a Corn Bread or a Biscuit choice which I would have chosen, but took the usual's just to see how they're done at Rustlers. I'm not a banana for dessert fan, that is, until my dinner guest forced me to have some of Rustlers Banana Pudding. I am now a rabid fan of banana's for dessert. Yes, it's that good.
