Beware! Cash only! Also, when I asked about a EMS or military discount, the girl working the counter said yes but the owner said no, so idk what that was about. We came here while in town because the reviews were so great! We got quite a bit of different items. Beef and broccoli was quite good! Lots of fresh, large pieces of broccoli. The lo mein was tasty! We gobbled it up. The sweet and sour chicken was so-so. I felt like the pieces of chicken were so small and had so much breading on them. Get the combination fried rice. This Checotah location is seriously the best Chinese food in a 100 mile radius at least. There's a sister location in Muskogee that is a very close 2nd, but there's something special about the Checotah one. Staff are very nice and helpful. Dining in offers plenty of space, and it's a charming little spot. But the food tops it all. Huge variety. Giant portions for amazing prices. Get the hot and sour soup! The BEST Chinese food I've had in a long time! This hidden gem in Checotah rivals anything in the OKC and Tulsa area! The food is very tasty, very large portions, and really cheap for what you get! The place is clean, as well as the bathrooms. It smells really good in there too! The service was awesome and staff friendly! I will be eating here more often! The combination dinners are served with sweet and sour chicken, one egg roll and a huge amount of fried rice. The servings are enough for two people! read more

Lin Cuisine is a pleasant surprise in the "two stop light town" of Checotah. The food here is exemplary for the area. I had the Szechuan Beef and snagged some of my wife's wontons. The entree was flavored nicely with just a hint of heat (I could've used more heat). The veggies were fresh and julienned beautifully. The fried rice was so so. The inside of the restaurant looks like a quintessential small town Asian restaurant. No frills but functional. It had a giant picture of the Great Wall of China which put me at ease (Never trust a Chinese restaurant that doesn't feature said picture). The server was friendly and responsive. What more could you ask for? Hmm. I know! Since when did fortune cookies get so preachy? We need fortune cookies with fortunes and less life advice. I want to know when I'm winning the Mega Millions, not how to self-reflect on my fragility...I digress. These are not issues for the humble Lin Cuisine to figure out. Food here is better than okay. The portions on some meals are rather large. The sesame chicken ($9.99) was piled as high as possible without falling off of the plate. It was surrounded by broccoli. Served with a side of fried rice on another plate. The combo plate B15 chicken with cashews plate didn't have the cashews, but some were brought when we asked about it. The lady at the cash register is authentic Chinese. She speaks very little English, but tries to communicate (I imagine she feels isolated). It seems the language barrier may be an issue with getting orders right. There were a couple of mix-ups with pickup orders while we were there. Someone came & picked to the wrong order. When the people who had actually ordered the one now gone arrived, the restaurant made the order fresh. The cook & the local waitress both spoke English (though our order was written in Chinese when taken by the lady from China who was trying to help out with the influx of customers... So later our waitress couldn't read "Pepsi" because it was in Chinese.). Here's how I look at it... It was getting a very small glimpse into what it would be like to order in China, but without the cost of airfare. Just check your order, bring your patience, and consider it an experience. CARRIE UNDERWOOD isn't the only good thing to come out of Checotah, Oklahoma! I've lived in California and Las Vegas and this Chinese food IS the best I've ever had. The portions are enough to have leftovers later on or a meal again the next day. The service was good. The place is clean and the atmosphere is ok. Nothing fancy. Quality and Service Keeps Declining We had lunch there on 6/5/2019. We dined here last week and I felt I needed to revise my last rating. We have been eating here for off and on for over 10 years. The restaurant used to serve excellent food and had great service. This is my third review of the restaurant since 2016. My rating keeps going down as the food does in quality and the service. It has changed owners and it is noticeable. Hot mustard and sriracha sauce bottles are dirty and usually almost empty. They have a very high turn over rate of wait staff and are sometime short handed. Its still okay, but just not what it used to be. If the place shows signs of improvement in the future I will change my rating . For now it is average, read more

I made an out of the way stop here on a move across the country. I ordered shrimp and cashew and when I got back to my campground I find some nasty beef and chicken mess. I haven't eaten beef or chicken in 43 years. Camper was still hitched so it's not like I'm going to drive 10 miles back to exchange and they didn't offer to bring the correct order.
