We decided Vino Yay was our favorite and we will buy a bottle next time we are in town. My boyfriend also tried the wine slushee in tropical flavor and loved it. I thought it was too sweet, but many people were coming in to order it! The second visit we had another flight of 4, this time we tried the sweeter wines, which was a little unsuccessful for us because we don't like sweet wines as much but had to give it a try. We also had the charcuterie board which was really good. Had a nice large load of salted bread, along with fresh cheese curds, salamis, meats and olives. A perfect little snack for two. In the back you can sit out and look at the small vineyard. It's really beautiful on a nice sunny day.

You give them your credit card and get a plastic card that you dock into a reader on the wall and you pay by the ounce. You can sample as many beers as you want. You can have a full pour. You can choose which type of glassware you want it in. You can have a flight. I have beer, cider, and wine. They do have an outdoor patio and occasionally have live music. There are some snacks available for purchase. They also have a mead on tap. Plus a barrel, aged beer that you have to get at the bar and a couple of other wines at the bar.

Bought a few nice wines and whiskey before leaving. They have this band and get togethers throughout the year. The whiskey I purchased was made specifically for the 250th birthday of America. At $120 a bottle; $100 goes to veterans. The blend is a mix of red, white and blue corn in the amount of percent of the colors of the flag! The grain blends consists of three colors of corn, red (41.5%), white (40.9%) and blue (17.6%) mixed to match the percentage of colors on the American flag. Aged 6 years in new charred Wisconsin oak barrels! Stop here if you can!

They have a special of 2 glasses of wine, a block of cheese (Sarvecchio!) and a box of crackers for just $22. Outstanding! The staff is super friendly and kind too. Two thumbs up!!

A million news clips on the wall and tables with a view of the grapes. Very friendly owner who stopped to give us a rundown of every wine, before going out to mow (in the rain!)... and truly excellent wine. For context: We really like wine and have been to Napa and Sonoma, but also have had a LOT of wine from Michigan and Indiana. We prefer dry, but Midwest is known for sweet. We found these whites to be VERY good. Most grapes used here were engineered at the University of Minnesota--varietals like Frontenac. The wines are hard to describe... and come at every level of dry/semi/sweet... with a special character that is different from your standard Riesling/Traminette. We walked away with four bottles: Itasca, St. Pepin, Brianna and Bashful Blonde. (In the winter we may have made different choices) If you are looking for a spot that is 0% pretentious and %100 excellent... this is it. We will be back every summer.

When we went to book, the company would not honor the ticket because they said they do not offer Hotel pick-up and drop-off without a fee. And they said they can charge us $30 for pick-up and $30 for drop-off, but it would not be included. Additionally, they only have one time frame available to schedule a tour 11 am - 12 pm. This company gives Fraudulent scammer vibes!

I don't know if the wines are all sweet, but the ones that were available that day were all very sweet - which I love. I ended up buying a bottle of Marry me Berry to go. Delish! For $5, you get a bunch of samples...I can't remember how many, as well as a slushie - YUM. They have some nice glass tumblers for sale as well, and my husband snagged a couple. I recommend checking it out if you love sweet and fruit forward wines if you're in the area!
