Chicken sandwich and mashed potatoes - The image shows a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and bacon strips inside a sesame seed bun. A pickle spear is skewered on top of the bun. Next to the burger, there is a bowl of mashed potatoes garnished with chopped chives, placed on a white napkin. The meal is presented on a rectangular white plate on a dark table surface.

Everything was fantastic. The tour, the employees, the place is beautiful. Will 100% be going back when we go to Wisconsin again. Also pleasssse sell the pickles. They are to die for!

Outside of distillery - The image depicts the exterior of Driftless Glen, an American distillery, with a large sign displaying the name and services including spirits, restaurant, and tours. The building features a combination of brick and metal siding, with a sloped roof and outdoor landscaping. The sky is partly cloudy, and nearby buildings and parked cars are visible in the background.

Really fun afternoon at Driftless Glen. Izzy was a great tour guide. He brought us around, showed us the whole operation and explained the history of the distillery. Very casual, enjoyable experience that ended with some delicious tastings.

Sample time - A distillery tasting room features a long wooden table with multiple bottles of spirits, tasting notes, and small glasses. Behind the table, there are barrels stacked on racks, and a chair is positioned at the center. The background includes barrels, a metal storage container, and a person standing near a door. The setting is indoors, with a focus on the spirits tasting experience at Driftless Glen.

Both were great, but many that coffee one?! Ooh I want one of those to start everyday! Husband and son both really liked theirs also. They were made right in front of us with fresh, homemade ingredients. The place itself was well lit and offered a lot of seating. There was a board game event going on while we were there. We just sat at the bar but would definitely go back for a game event. Awildan did not appear to offer food, but some other patrons brought in their own snacks which I like about a small place, especially during an event like the board game event. While sitting at the bar, we were able to chat with the owner. He shared his story as well as his plans for growth of the business. He works with other businesses in the area which is always great to hear. Shortly before we were ready to leave, a couple came in and didn't seem to really know what they wanted. The owner did a great job of describing the liquor options, making cocktail recommendations, and then ultimately went off menu to make cocktails they would like. Though I don't recommend doing this to a bartender, it was good to see he was willing to go off script to help make a couple's experience enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Walking into the brewery was awesome, such a cool place and quite large. The girl at the spot were I believe you can order food wasn't too friendly but the bartender was awesome! Bartender was super friendly, I wish I could remember his name. We told him how we were looking for things to do and he was more than happy to write down some recommendations for us. I thought that was super nice because I feel like sometimes, at least in the Dells area, it seems like they get tired of us tourists and aren't always as friendly as I feel they should be considering they know they're working in a tourist area. We happened to be sitting next to the lady that does the tours so we thought, awesome, we love seeing old buildings and hearing the history so we signed up! It's $20 per person and about 50-60 mins. It was super cool to see, informative, the lady was friendly, and answered any questions we had. It was pretty amazing to hear that people actually live on the 4th floor, I wasn't expecting that for some reason. After the tour was over she played the large organ for us which was great. We sat down for another beer, listened to the awesome music the bartender was playing and set up our next tour at the Driftless Glen distillery. This was on our list plus it was one of the recommendations from the bartender. If your in the area and looking for something different to do, I highly recommend checking this place out!
