Another great local distillery. We really enjoyed the tour. The guide was informative and we got to see most of the process from production to barrel aging. It was also an opportunity to try a bunch of different spirits. We also had some old-fashioneds and an appetizer in the bar area. Great service, and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The drinks were fantastic and the jalapeno chicken flatbread was amazing. If you're in the area, make sure to give it a try.

Very fun and interesting tour.Craig our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The distilling area is so clean.Interesting history on the Distillery. If you like bourbons and whiskeys along with many other options, then you'll love this place. Great oils and balsamic vinegars too.We didn't eat there ,but the patio along the river, looked awesome and people said the food was delicious. A definite great stop, right next to Circus World.

Of the many breweries, distilleries, and wineries in the Baraboo area, this one is not a place I would go out of my way to recommend. If you're looking for a place to get fancy cocktails and an appetizer, Driftless Glen is an option. But personally, I would not go back for an entree, especially for the price. The best part about the distillery is their drinks. It's a great way to try their spirits without spending $70 on a bottle. We did a $15 spirit flight and regular mixed drinks. We are big bourbon drinkers, but couldn't justify the price of a bottle. The entrees were disappointing to us - they lacked flavor and quality, despite the prices.

Everything was fantastic. The tour, the employees, the place is beautiful. Will 100% be going back when we go to Wisconsin again. Also pleasssse sell the pickles. They are to die for!

Really fun afternoon at Driftless Glen. Izzy was a great tour guide. He brought us around, showed us the whole operation and explained the history of the distillery. Very casual, enjoyable experience that ended with some delicious tastings.

Great tour, learned a lot from our tour guide. I love the food at the restaurant, especially sitting out by the river in the summertime.

Both were great, but many that coffee one?! Ooh I want one of those to start everyday! Husband and son both really liked theirs also. They were made right in front of us with fresh, homemade ingredients. The place itself was well lit and offered a lot of seating. There was a board game event going on while we were there. We just sat at the bar but would definitely go back for a game event. Awildan did not appear to offer food, but some other patrons brought in their own snacks which I like about a small place, especially during an event like the board game event. While sitting at the bar, we were able to chat with the owner. He shared his story as well as his plans for growth of the business. He works with other businesses in the area which is always great to hear. Shortly before we were ready to leave, a couple came in and didn't seem to really know what they wanted. The owner did a great job of describing the liquor options, making cocktail recommendations, and then ultimately went off menu to make cocktails they would like. Though I don't recommend doing this to a bartender, it was good to see he was willing to go off script to help make a couple's experience enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

Walking into the brewery was awesome, such a cool place and quite large. The girl at the spot were I believe you can order food wasn't too friendly but the bartender was awesome! Bartender was super friendly, I wish I could remember his name. We told him how we were looking for things to do and he was more than happy to write down some recommendations for us. I thought that was super nice because I feel like sometimes, at least in the Dells area, it seems like they get tired of us tourists and aren't always as friendly as I feel they should be considering they know they're working in a tourist area. We happened to be sitting next to the lady that does the tours so we thought, awesome, we love seeing old buildings and hearing the history so we signed up! It's $20 per person and about 50-60 mins. It was super cool to see, informative, the lady was friendly, and answered any questions we had. It was pretty amazing to hear that people actually live on the 4th floor, I wasn't expecting that for some reason. After the tour was over she played the large organ for us which was great. We sat down for another beer, listened to the awesome music the bartender was playing and set up our next tour at the Driftless Glen distillery. This was on our list plus it was one of the recommendations from the bartender. If your in the area and looking for something different to do, I highly recommend checking this place out!

I lost track of what all we tried but: fae nectar, hurrican't even, cheeky devil, fiesta bear, and tea and tendril. Everything was delicious, went down easy, and reasonable prices. The food was also good - chips & queso, chicken tenders, and pretzel. The pretzel was INSANE - enough to go around for 4 people. Riley was a fabulous bar tender. He was super knowledgeable on all the spirits and cocktails. We had great banter and he was welcoming on our first visit. I loved the variety of seating options inside and out. The patio is great but the bees scared us back inside. Everything was decorated so cute for Halloween - it must have taken forever to decorate!! Definitely will be back again next time I'm in the Madison area!
