    Seasonal cocktail.

Dancing goat distillery has a nice bar and seating area. They have dancing goat merchandise to purchase as well as bottles of spirits. We had a specialty cocktail with seasonal strawberries. I had a nice atmosphere and was busy for Memorial Weekend.

Finally got out to visit dancing goat for a distillery tour and it didn't disappoint. The building is very cool and the tour was fun, informative, and you get plenty of samples. After the tour you get to taste four of their bourbon and whiskey (think it rotates based on newer releases). After the tour you are able to sample up to 6 more spirits. Hoping to plan another visit to do their gin class!

Seriously guys, if you like great whiskey, this place is the place to be! But more importantly, the PEOPLE that work there are AMAZING! Sean, Corbin, and Nick Maas were legit the most cynosure part of my whole experience visiting the distillary today. All the staff was so humble, so knowledgeable, and so excited for their craft that I legit had a sublime time talking to each and every one of them. I have been there twice before and this was the first time they opened the "back of the house" and it blew all my previous experiences out the water. I will be back purely for the staff, because I know that if they are as passionate as they showed me today, the whiskey will be the best thing on the market EVERY. TIME. Thank you so much for your hospitality and jubilant mindset for the product you put out to the public. I, for one, am happy to have you so close to me, when you could be easily competing with the big names in whiskey row.

@yelpwisconsin hosted a Yelp Elite event at @dancinggoatdistillery. I walked in and was greeted immediately by name and was welcomed with a delicious charcuterie cups provided by @trickyfoods. I walked over to the bar and had a couple of welcome passion fruit and gin cocktails from @dancinggoatdistillery. The lovely staff at @dancinggoatdistillery split us into groups and I learned how to make a proper Wisconsin Old Fashion. I also went on a tour where I was able to fill the barrel, close the barrel and sign my name. I have a barrel with my name on it! I will definitely be back for the gin class next month.

    This stuff is excellent!!

Stopped in the Dancing Goat distillery on a weekend road trip. I thought they had a full bar but today it was just free sampling, that's ok but don't plan on spending a long time there. We had three samplings. Apple pie was good and I swear I could taste the pie crust! The cow pie was delicious, put it in coffee or on it's own on ice or over ice cream! Go there! Now nextdoor to the winery.

It was a little hard to find the first time out, but it's worth the time to find it! Beautiful building, stellar craft drinks and a stunning landscape. Can't wait to see what other creations they continue to find and distill!

Patrick, bartender and event coordinator, was incredibly passionate about drinks. Loved learning about cocktails from him. Really cool to see a local distillery thrive! Can't wait to try the gin creation experience!

Stop the press!!!!! This place is so neat!!! Surrounded by grape vines on the outskirts of Cambridge Wisconsin. Rustic industrial theme throughout. Lots of natural lighting. Plenty of seating. Two flat screen televisions. Large square bar with additional high top tables with bar stools. This place is a tasting room and only serves its specialty cocktails. No beer or other drinks can be made. Specialty cocktails include a seasonal section. There are a few chocolate & liquor pairings on the menu as well! Merchandise available. Open Thursday - Sunday.

This is it - the menu!

I love seeing establishments like this come to Cambridge! They are great at what they do - whiskey! It was so smooth...I started with a Maple Smash, and then had the Limousin Rye, it comes with a piece of dark chocolate from the Baraboo Candy Co. The combo was a match made in heaven. The bar staff was friendly, the environment was super classy...and I will definitely be back!

Both were great, but many that coffee one?! Ooh I want one of those to start everyday! Husband and son both really liked theirs also. They were made right in front of us with fresh, homemade ingredients. The place itself was well lit and offered a lot of seating. There was a board game event going on while we were there. We just sat at the bar but would definitely go back for a game event. Awildan did not appear to offer food, but some other patrons brought in their own snacks which I like about a small place, especially during an event like the board game event. While sitting at the bar, we were able to chat with the owner. He shared his story as well as his plans for growth of the business. He works with other businesses in the area which is always great to hear. Shortly before we were ready to leave, a couple came in and didn't seem to really know what they wanted. The owner did a great job of describing the liquor options, making cocktail recommendations, and then ultimately went off menu to make cocktails they would like. Though I don't recommend doing this to a bartender, it was good to see he was willing to go off script to help make a couple's experience enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

I tried the Dreamsicle which was DELICIOUS!!! My boyfriend tried the Gin & Roses which was very good as well and refreshing. We shared the Lavender Bees Knees Slushy! That was the best! Such incredible flavor!!! Kevin was our bartender and also our tour guide for the distillery tour. He was funny and very informative. The history of Milwaukee and growth of the business was really interesting. We enjoyed seeing the distillery and learning and the process. I saw a couple of barrels I am excited to try in the future!! Grape Brandy and Cherry Brandy! At the end of the tour we had a tasting. My favorites were Honey Lemon Vodka, Gin, Cranberry Liqueur, and the Coffee Liqueur. I do not enjoy Bourbons and Rye Whiskey but I will say that the Bond Bourbon was smooth. This was a fun experience and I highly recommend giving this place a visit! I know we will come back again! For Christmas Gifts, or to try more of the fantastic drinks! Oh and to try the future Grape and Cherry Brandy. And we also heard there is a comedy night, so we will look out for Cask Comedy events in the future. Thanks Kevin!

Good but expensive…read more I am in beer city USA and found this distillery to be quite expensive. They let you sample all of their products for $1 each, or if you buy a bottle the samples are free (as of May 2026). We tried the whiskies, ryes, and bourbons. All were good, but not worth $70 a bottle for what we wanted. They do have sales and some better priced products. However, I was shocked that the bourbon I liked ended up being $70 a bottle. I've had lots of bourbon in my day and I don't think it's worth $70 a bottle. Another one I liked was $50 a bottle which I also think is quite high for the flavor profile and burn. If you want to have fun and sample a bunch, then give it a shot. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop here unless it's in my route. It was good just not great for the price. They also sell pre mixed drinks that were super sugary and not very flavorful.

The combination of buildings, patio areas, scenery is auspicious and genuinely inviting. It pulls you in to traverse among the building and the grape fields. They happened to have a 3 piece band playing and a celebration. The place was packed. They not only make wine but also a distillery as well. The stores and building were a perfect blend of culture and modern day appeal. We truly enjoyed the celebration. It was culminated by the owner himself giving a small speech of his roots and transition of coming to America. We had a blast! Definitely would come back if in area. Bought a few nice wines and whiskey before leaving. They have this band and get togethers throughout the year. The whiskey I purchased was made specifically for the 250th birthday of America. At $120 a bottle; $100 goes to veterans. The blend is a mix of red, white and blue corn in the amount of percent of the colors of the flag! The grain blends consists of three colors of corn, red (41.5%), white (40.9%) and blue (17.6%) mixed to match the percentage of colors on the American flag. This week we enjoyed their Wollersheim Bistro Wine Cellar Dinner for the first time. Wow! Held in the hallway at the head of their wine caves, circa 1850s, the setting is so unique with attendance limited. Cocktails / wine before, hors d'oeuvres, four course dinner with paired wine each round. Chef Romain and the knowledgeable servers were attentive, ensuring everyone's enjoyable time. They made for a sensational setting and experience. Their intent is to do this monthly or every two months. We are certainly looking forward to the next event, and will be visiting sooner to replenish our own bar!
