The French onion soup was sour, and while the idea of serving it with pretzel rolls sounded good, putting the rolls directly into the soup before serving just resulted in soggy bread. The chips were stale, the breading on the fish fry was disappointing and lacked any real flavor, and overall, nothing we ordered really stood out. For a place called a brew pub, I was expecting much more character and flavor from the food. Maybe we caught them on an off night, but with so many great and unique restaurants in the Dells, there are simply too many better options to spend your money on.

They had a hostess who did nothing since its seat yourself, would've been better to have had her run food or check on tables.

I am not a beer drinker so I ordered the Wisconsinite ( a blackberry brandy old-fashioned). It wasn't bad, but definitely more on the sweet side than I care for. We shared the fried cheese curds, which had a great flavor, though not the best I've had. I really enjoyed my blackened salmon salad. The salmon was delicious and the salad was fresh. My husband also enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich. They had some fun swag for sale, and I came home with a cute pink t-shirt. All in all, Vintage Brewing is a cool place with beautiful location a great vibe. If you have a chance, catch The Sparks Band (a fun cover band).
