PR at Partners - Highlights framing and blue/teal color in the back - i - Hair Salons Near Me - Oakton, Virginia

I usually get my hair cut about once or twice a year, so I decided to finally get it cut for the year last week. PR at Partners has been pretty nice to me, as I have gotten my hair cut/ dyed by students at different locations before when I had a smaller budget for my hair. I walked in to book an appointment, thinking I was a "first time client", but since I have done it with the student system before, I was registered. I decided to get it cut by anyone, and since I had some issues I wanted addressed, I let the hairstylist have some fun with my hair. Chrissy was super helpful and helped me manage this really annoying hair curl/ cowlick in my bangs that developed, which was a lifesaver! She also gave me some tips and tricks on how to manage my bangs so it wouldn't happen again, and she also chopped off my hair to the length I desired and added extra layers. My hair looked so much healthier than before too! The staff were also helping each other out and I saw that they were really friendly with each other, asking each other for advice, borrowing things, and collaborating with one another on managing walk-in clients/ stylists not being available to help with a rush of clients. It's also kept super clean and there's a nice waiting area up front too. The receptionist is also super nice. I also like that they have free bang trims, so I will definitely take advantage of this! Thanks again! read more

Erikka at the Oakton is beyond amazing! She gives the best color, cut, style every time that is timeless and stylish! Thank you!

It was my first time at this location and I will definitely be coming back! I had an event to attend-- and needed someone to do a blow out and curls. They scheduled me w Erica and she was phenomenal. Super sweet and personable.. made my vision come to life! Thanks again!!!! read more

I think the must frustrating thing during this process was the lack of communication from the stylist who did my hair and then the owner, who redid it the second time. The first picture in the salon was in Dec. 2021, which I LOVED, so I went to the same stylist. I just wanted more blonde around my crown and to go a tiny bit lighter blonde on those parts. The two pictures in the bathroom are after my next appointment, which was August 2022. I called when I got home to let the stylist know I was unhappy. My hair appeared darker after the first appointment, not lighter and my haircut was also uneven. I got a full highlight and haircut so $245. The stylist was more than willing to help redo the cut and add more color, however, he left our convo on read when I tried to schedule a day and time for 5 days. So, I called to ask for the owner to redo it and to speak to him about my experience. On the day I arrived, I could tell the owner didn't know anything about why I was coming or that I even was. He asked who my appointment was with and I said him and he looked a little surprised. I showed him the first two pictures and explained I just wanted more visible highlights on top and blonder. During my hair appointment he asked me to hold the foils for him to grab "so I wouldn't be bored", they did not have a dryer for me to go under so it was never used, I had to ask if he used toner, to which he said he thought "it should be good without it" (he did use it after I asked for it), I sat for 20 min with wet hair next to the stylist who did the first cut and color (because the owner "doesn't do haircuts"), and at the last two pictures you can see streaky-yellow I'm left with. I called to speak with the owner the next day about a refund because everything was so unprofessional and my hair looked horrible. Even if he didn't refund the color, I never received a call back. I don't know whether communication is happening in this salon or not, but beyond that my hair is ruined. I had virgin hair for 7 years before the first December 2021 appt. I will be going to get it fixed and spend hundreds more to correct this mess. Only the recut worked out. read more

Emma Day is my favorite colorist of all time (over 21 years this is saying something!). She gradually & safely turned my damaged bleached hair back into soft and pretty hair again. She is kind and talented and truly listens. If it's not a great game plan she keeps it real and tells me and works to find a compromise that will be more reasonable. Emma is the best! read more

I booked a last minute appointment in June for a blowout. I called in the morning of and asked if they had any openings for this service. At that time, I thought I was lucky and was able to book an appointment later that afternoon. I came in with my hair freshly washed and still wet as I was staying only five minutes away. This was to help me out with my time because I had a makeup appointment right after. During the blowout, the stylist asked if I wanted some waves/curls in, sure why not? But they didn't stay in. When she was done with the "blowout" there were no waves or curls. My hair was straight. She then curled my hair to assist me with the look I was going for. I thought this is great service up until my hair was considered "done." My hair had ZERO volume. Within 30 minutes of my appointment, my hair fell completely flat. By the time I reached home I had to change and leave for a wedding. I wanted to literally wash my hair and do it myself. Although I appreciate that I was able to get an appointment, I wish I never called. It was a complete waste of money. My hair was awful and it made me feel very self conscious the entire night. I hate flat hair and use products to assist me in getting the volume I want. I thought I would save time by having someone do my hair for me but I was completely wrong. This isn't a case of maybe curls don't stay in because of the texture of my hair. I curl my hair just fine. I wish I had this night. The issue I have with PR at Partners is that I don't feel as if they truly help new stylists learn what works bests for different types of hair. They don't assist them at all. At least they didn't during my appointment. I realized after my appointment I had a new stylist and that's why she maybe didn't know how to actually style my hair. This is where PR should come in and help their newcomers learn the art of hairstyling. Otherwise it comes off as just a business tactic to fill appointments for new stylist and get more money in. read more

I have been going to PR at Partners for years and I love it. It was so hard to find someone who could get my hair to the level of blond I wanted and Jon has done a fantastic job. I seriously don't trust anyone else with coloring my hair. It is always easy to get an appointment and the other staff are always very friendly. read more

At first, I felt a little guilty for cheating on my stylist at the PR at Partners in Tyson's, (he was booked for the week and being the impatient person I am, I couldn't wait) but after I finished my haircut with Hero, I don't regret it one bit! (plus they're both friends and Hero explained that most stylists don't get hard feelings if you go to another stylist!) I'm thankful that my friend referred me to him! This past April, I decided to go with the ombre hair trend and opted for red. Unfortunately, red fades easily and after 3 weeks, I had to go tone the color again. My hair was fried because we had to put a high volume of bleach to lift my hair, and I ended up with extremely split dead ends that felt literally like straw -- it was hard to brush out the ends of my hair even though I used a conditioning mask once a week. When I sat in the chair, Hero looked at my hair and realized that my layers were uneven and my ends were atrocious. Although he could have shown me a book of pictures, he told me what he wanted to do to my hair and I let him work his magic. After cutting off 3 inches, he added lots of layers that created a lot of movement in my hair, as well as side bangs. He even used the same products that I used in my hair (Moroccan Oil and Kerastase) because I was familiar with them. I came out with a healthier, fresher looking haircut. When it comes to taking care of myself, I definitely don't look for a bargain. (Quality over quantity) Hero's cuts are $50, which is pretty reasonable, especially since I cut my hair every 2 to 3 months. I'll definitely be back again! read more

I got my hair done by Michael and he is absolutely great doing blondes and other colors. I told him what I wanted and he did exactly how I wanted it to look like. LOVE this place! Went to get my gray covered and my daughters DIY bleach job toned. My very picky daughter wasn't happy the first time, so our stylist, Erik, re-colored not once, not twice, but THREE times to make her happy. This was super important to me as my wedding was 3 days later and I wanted everyone to feel beautiful. Erik made sure we were happy while laughing and smiling the entire time, he never made us feel like we were being too picky (even though we probably were). Bottom line is no more DIY color for us, Erik will be the only person touching our hair from now on. read more

I love this place! Everyone there is so talented! What I love about this chain is 1) how reasonably they are priced 160 for hair cut AND partial balayage! 2) the individuals who work they take classes to learn new techniques and keep up to date with the best methods! - constantly learning 3) they are just so nice and want your hair to turn out the way you want I see Mursal and she's amazing! Fun to talk to and knowledgeable. read more

I hardly write reviews but felt compelled to as Kim was very professional and patient dealing with me even though I was running late. She was knowledgable when answering specific questions and explained everything in-depth to establish clear expectations to help me feel comfortable. I have a hard time when determining who to go to but I am excited to have her as my hair stylist moving forward! read more

Once I moved to Vienna, I needed to find a new stylist. I had never even heard of PR at Partners until I started researching on the internet, but once I realized they had a location just down the road from me in Oakton and had good reviews (thanks Yelp!) I was determined to try it out. Finding a new stylist can be tough, and I like that they have stylist profiles on their website so you can see who might be right for you. I picked a few that I was interested in from the descriptions and called the salon to talk it through. After mentioning who I'd seen, the person on the phone asked me a bit about my hair and what I was looking for and paired me with Erica based on my responses. I've been going to her ever since, and she's terrific! She takes the time before I'm even shampooed to see how my hair is grown and talk about what I am looking for. After she's done cutting and blow-drying, she always takes the time to sit back down and review the cut and make any updates. I have to give them credit, because about a year ago, I had an appointment and completely forgot about it - I went to NY during that weekend and was literally on the Brooklyn Bridge when my haircut reminder popped up on my phone. I had to call them 5 minutes before the appointment to cancel and they didn't charge me or anything, so I really appreciated that. So why not 5 stars? Because I've been going there for 3 years and they just raised the prices again (2nd time). Grrrrrr. read more

NO NO NO! Don't even THINK about coming here if you wear hair extensions. It baffled me that the staff in here had no idea how to groom extensions! EVERYONE wears extensions these days, this is not 1952! This couldn't have been more evident in the shampoo girl who decided to instead of rinsing my hair out straight down, she wanted to twist and tangle up my hair and scrunch it up all over the place. Needless to say, after she was done, my hair was a twisted, tangled up, moppy mess.; it really looked like a bird's nest. This obviously freaked her out because she then proceeded to tell me to comb it out myself! Well then since I am combing out my own hair, how about I take your paycheck then since I seem to be the one working now? After about five minutes and sore arms, one of the senior stylists realized what was going on and scolded the girl and proceeded to try to detangle my hair herself. She was obviously embarassed that I had to comb out my own hair in the salon. After that, things looked up, even though my hair was not dried enough and my scalp was still a little moist after she blow-dryed it. The only reason why I am giving this place 2 stars instead of just 1 is because the other staff was really nice and friendly, and they gave out free snacks and wine. I definitely don't think I will ever go back here though. read more

Found my new salon! I was extremely overdue for a hair cut and balayage and Claire was very accommodating and and had so much patience with my extremely long and unmanageable hair. She matched exactly what color and look I was going for and offered to do a hair treatment for me which completely saved my dry ends, a week later and I still see results with the texture. Claire was extremely sweet and great at listening to what I wanted, my hair took hours to do so the complimentary fresh fruit, cookies, and drinks kept me going! I feel much better about my hair, great stylists and great salon. read more

This is a great place to get a decent cut without breaking your bank. Having spent the past five years shelling out birthday money for my annual haircut, paying less than $50 for a cut and style is a dream come true. I should also add, I'm extremely cautious about who I let touch my hair (me = victim of too many hairtastrophes). After many months of publicly humiliating myself with my ever-so-chic roadkill hairstyle, I finally scheduled myself an appointment with Nick. I basically gave him artistic license to do whatever the hell he wanted with my hair, since my indecisiveness would've left me still sitting in the salon to this day. I gave him a few parameters to work with (side-swept bangs, similar length) and an hour later, voila! I looked like a less-slutty Asian version of Posh Spice. (I look absolutely nothing like her - if Nick can make me look like that, good god, I can only wonder how his other clients looked post-cut&style.) To top it all off, he gave me some pointers and suggested some simple/low-maintenance ways to keep my style fresh for an extended period of time. And really, there isn't much more I can ask for. (Also, the service in general is excellent. Michelle at the front desk is a total sweetheart.) read more

I found my new stylist! I think this is the best haircut I've had in the NOVA area. Lauren is awesome! My hair is very long and pretty thick. Stylists are usually intimidated by it, so they end up giving me a blah cut. Lauren wasn't afraid at all. I think she knew I was pretty depressed about my hair because it was so lifeless; no body, no layers, and no texture. She knew exactly what my hair needed! I left the salon feeling a whole new level of confidence! Everyone seemed really nice and friendly; very fun atmosphere! read more

I've been going to PR at Partners for years, first in Chantilly and then at Oakton. The salon is small and plainly decorated, unlike the Metro Center location. The store has a wide selection of hair products. (I had to edit my post after an extremely disappointing recent visit) The salon area is cramped, loud, and poorly lit. Don't be surprised if you call for an appointment and sit on hold for a few minutes. Amy has been cutting my hair for at least 4 years now and while I don't always walk out loving my cut I keep going back to her. I'm afraid I'm in a style rut so it is not her fault! She did give me the best cut a few years ago, I would definitely recommend her for short styles. My younger sister and mom also see Amy for their color/cut. Be warned: you might be sitting in the chair for upwards of 10 minutes between steps as she finishes up another client (she always double books), allow for more time. The website is up to date with bios and prices of each stylist which is helpful for newcomers. read more

I had my hair cut and highlighted by John Willson a few weeks ago here. He was very attentive to my needs, but he also offered many hair style ideas. My first time here was ok - I just wanted a trim and Hero delivered. So I decided to give it another shot and go in for a short haircut a few months later. As always, I was happy when I left the salon, but after my first wash, I noticed how uneven and choppy the back of my hair was. Even straightening the ends couldn't help my cause -- my hair was butchered. It was a bad experience but if it wasn't for my trip there, I may never have found Noufal Hair Studio which I've found to be a hair godsend and has brought my hair back to life! read more

Very disappointing! I had an appointment, but had to wait over 30 minutes for my haircut and got half hearted apology from the stylist. He was obviously overbooked. After that he still left me waiting multiple times while he attended to other customers. He had the salon assistant dry my hair. She did the best she could, but she pulled half my hair out trying to style it. He finally came back and at the end (1.5 hours later) I walked out with half dry frizzy hair. Not going back even though they are within walking distance of my house. First time, last time! read more

I went to Lauren a week ago and I'm so glad I did! I walk in with a boring bland blonde bob and left with an ultra sleek modern 'do. Lauren took her time in the consultaion to get to know me and what I wanted out of my new haircut. She did a wonderful job with color and highlights. I've gotten alot of compliments on my new look and have been referring her to all my friends. It's the first time I made an appointment for my next cut before I left the salon! read more

OK, so I have a thing for hair - GOOD hair. I'm the one who is always playing with her own hair, playing with friends' hair, or resisting the urge of touching the hair of a stranger with really nice hair. I beam with happiness when I see mohawks and well colored hair. I like to keep my own hair pretty natural with cut and color but know if I ever wanted something just out there PR would make that work for me too. Growing up I was always hesitant to get my hair cut and especially try out some place new...So many bad haircuts. I had a friend who once worked at this PR location and thought, "Well, my friends tell me the truth and won't let me walk around looking like a nightmare, time to be brave and give it a try." I've been going here for a few years now and am totally in love with Erica for always doing a PERFECT job coloring and cutting my hair. I've never walked out of PR even a little bit unsatisfied wishing it were maybe a little different, always 100% happy. I respect honesty and I get it out of Erica. If I have an idea and she thinks it won't work for me, she'll say so and either give me another great idea or tweak the one I had so it works for my face. I don't like having my hair bleached when I get it colored so Erica the amazing mixed colors perfectly so my highlights come out and come out beau-ti-ful! My 1st time there I remember them spending time with me, sitting with me and talking to me about what kind of look I like and would be good for my life style and taking careful note of everything. Now I can just walk in and they know what to do and I LOVE it. I don't have to worry about another unflattering haircut ever again! Even if it's just for a bang trim, EVERYONE there is super sweet and does things right. Could you imagine walking out of a salon with a bad bang trim? Too short or just looks really weird on your face? It's possible...but never here. Hero did mine last time I went in! Oh, and not only am I not worrying about getting a bad haircut, I can now say I enjoy sitting and getting one - these people are fun to talk to when I'm feeling chatty but never blab their own heads off when I don't really feel like talking much and just relaxing. It's wonderful! Every time I've walked out of there someone has told me how great my *new* hair looks and for me, that keeps me happy all day :) read more

Lauren is the go-to girl for ombre! My friend recommended me to her and I could not be happier. Lauren was super sweet and made me feel comfortable. We had a solid consultation--she wanted to know exactly how I wanted the color to look so she showed me several pictures to go along with what I was describing to her. She also deep conditioned my hair which made it feel SO soft, which I thought would be a tough task considering half of my hair is now bleached. The girl knows her stuff and has great technique. I also looove her blowdry...I'll be coming to her for styling for a big event. Love her! So after my disasterous haircut experience at Noufal, I read Yelp reviews to find my next stylist and decided Lauren would be it after reading so many positive reviews. I am happy to say that I was not disappointed. I took in the photo that I had brought to my previous appointment at Noufal and she thought that the style would be a great look for me. She was very professional - she looked at my awful cut and reassured me she could give me something that was fun and looked good. The appointment started with a survey which she read and talked over with me - and she made it clear that she heard that I was looking for a wash and wear hairstyle that would take minimal styling time. Then she explained exactly what she was going to do with my hair and showed me along the way how the cut looked. I'm so happy with my new look...and so happy I found Lauren! read more

I based my choice on this salon, by the fellow Yelpers reviews. I booked my appt. with Lauren. So glad! My experience was great, she has a wonderful personality, great to talk, made me feel at ease about my hair decisions, and gave great input and hair tips. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because this is my first time actually getting my hair colored so I have no comparison to go off of, and also it is on the pricey side. But I am a fan, and will def. return to see Lauren. read more

i had a horrible experience at PR at Partners Oakton location on Sunday 12/4. I thought the advertising for PR at Partners was great, so I decided to give one of their salons a try. I had a appointment in the afternoon at 3PM which I confirmed and showed up 15 minutes early. After waiting until 13:15 PM. I asked the receptionist about when would my stylist would be ready. I was told that she wasn't available until 5:00PM. This wasn't until two hours later!!! I asked if another stylist could cut my hair, but the cost of a haircut and blowdry from that other stylist was $15 more and furthermore, this other stylist would only be able to cut my hair, someone else in that shop would do the blow dry. Why do they book appointments, if they can't take you at your appointment time and the stylist is only available 2 hours after your appointment time? Do they think I have all the time in the world to just sit and wait there two hours? I won't be going to any PR at Partners again. read more

My experience with this salon was extremely disappointing. My hairdresser had appointments too closely booked, so despite spending $255 here today I am leaving with wet, curly hair. I have no idea what my haircut will look like, no idea what my highlights look like. There was really no effort to be accommodating, and for someone who doesn't throw around that kind of money this really was a true disappointment :( read more

OK, I have never actually been here. Why? BC the person who answers the phone is rude as hell. I am not sure why a receptionist (insert smirk here) feels the need to be so rude to potential clients. This happened twice. Also- I doubt a chain salon located in Oakton Virginia has a week long waiting list. (Both times I called) Its a shame, the stylists there are losing a lot of business due to this mystery bitch, hahaha...oh well. There are a lot of great places in the area. read more

I wish I could give them ZERO Stars. They clearly are above there customers and must not need any of our business. Three times they have failed my two daughters. The first two were when we sat in the salon and the stylist no-showed for my daughter when she had events that evening. I even booked both appointments in person not over the phone. There was no one trying to help trouble shoot the situation. They said "we'll have to reschedule you," both times. The first time it was my daughters swim and dive banquet and a Sunday morning. We had no where else to go. She has really unruly hair, so we treat her to a blow out when she has an important event. But this evening really takes the cake. My daughter has her OAKTON HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOK TEAM pictures tomorrow morning at 9:AM. We made the appointment in person 2 week ago requesting a 7:45 appointment because my daughters Oakton HS Dance team practice runs until 7:30 and we didn't want to be late. When they confirmed her appointment yesterday, I reminded them that she has dance practice until 7:30 so she will be late. They reassured me that they were open until 9:00pm, and said not to worry. The salon called me at 5:00pm the day of her appointment and wanted to move up our daughter's appointment (I assume she had a cancellation). But our daughter was at practice until 7:30, hence the 7:45 appointment. Once again, I explained the situation to the receptionist, letting them know that she will be late but will be right after practice. The receptionist replied , THAT WOULD BE FINE. Michelle called me when were pulling into the parking lot at 7:42 to let us know she needs to reschedule her. ONCE AGAIN I explained the situation...but she didn't care. I run into the salon paniced with my daughter at 7:45 and instead of running her back to shampoo bowl to get started, she and the receptionist proceeded to argue with me for 15 minutes. Even after I was reassured so many times that it was OK, that Michelle would be there until 9:00. When we finally got her to agree to do her hair. Despite the receptionist repeatedly telling Michelle that she didn't need to do it if she didn't want to. They told me that I couldn't stay in the salon when she was getting her hair done...so I left. 20 minutes later my daughter texted me to to say she was done. She has very think, frizzy hair, it's usually a 45 minute appointment. The really sad part was that my daughter said that Michelle was rough kept scratching her face "accidentally" and never apologized. Michelle did an EXTREMELY POOR job of cutting her hair. I reached out to the owner/manager/stylist who was very nice and sympathized with me, but clearly he's not in charge. I'm sure no one will be reprimanded and that they will all laugh about it on their smoke breaks for the next few weeks. The receptionist Debra was so disgustingly rude, why is she greeting and checking out your guests? When the owner offered to comp the appointment payment, Debra had the nerve to say to me...well you already paid for it...Michelle had the nerve to say to me that she would not cut, my other daughters hair tomorrow...she no longer was interested in servicing any of my family members. Bottom line is that even though they were open until 9:00 clearly no one wants to have appointments between 8-9...obviously wouldn't take a walk-in appointment. Clearly they don't need the business so we don't need to go there anymore. At a restaurant, some nights you might not have a table sat from 10-11, but if you start closing early, you are basically turning away potential business. Customers will think you are inconsistent and will start going elsewhere. There are a lot of choices in the Oakton/Vienna/Tysons Corner area. So gentle readers, let me ask a question: What sort of woman BUTCHERS a young girl's hair the NIGHT BEFORE HIGH SCHOOL YEARBOOK PICTURES? Or try to turn her away just because she had an earlier cancellation and wants to go home early. Michelle needs to realize that she is a hair stylist. If she wanted to work 9-5 Mon-Fri then she should have been bank teller. I certainly hope Michelle or any of the other PR Partner employees don't have a daughter. I will never spend a penny in this dump, and encourage people who are, or have daughters, NOT to go there either. * Latest update is that they still haven't credited my cc read more

PR at Partners are really good, and they really appreciate their reputation. But... some of their stuff is awful. I went to Demian (he told me he had 20 years experience), and I explained him that I wanted to grow my hair out, and I just wanted to add some layers. Instead of doing that he just cut my hair to shoulders line. Fortunately, it looks good, and I'm glad with my haircut. He also colored my hair. I wanted balayage (blonde with some ash). He made my hair completely orange! And then tried to change it (the next day) using ash toner. Is that a professional way? I would say "No!". After trying twice, I didn't get what I wanted, and they charged me $225 for haircut + balayage. I e-mailed the support center, and after explaining the situation, they refunded me $170 for coloring (they also explained me what the stylist should have done with my hair instead of what he did). That's why this is 4 stars review, otherwise I wouldn't give them even 1. I wish they checked the stylists better before employing them. read more

Had a horrible experience with Michael. He was an hour late, so I had my hair cut first by Lauren (which turned out great). He then colored my hair, then bleached it all. My hair was then bright yellow. Then toner and my hair was white with hints of blue. Worst experience EVER. 5 hours and walked out in horror. Friends gasped when they saw it - "no way a professional did that!!!" I went the following day to Lauren (she is great) to apply toner and make it bearable. She did her best and I really like her, but end result is dull. Wish I never went. read more

First off, let me say that I'm only speaking to the stylist, not the salon. It's 5 minutes from my work and I typically get a single process color which doesn't take a genius so I decided to give them a try (I usually go to Vidal Sassoon). Nicky (sp?) was the one they booked me with an I was a little apprehensive because on the website they have pictures of the stylist and she was young with pink hair which made me think she was fresh out of beauty school. The first time I saw her she colored my hair and I was very happy. She put a unique color of brown on my hair and, although it was a full process color, she pulled it through in a way so it'd look more dimensional. I went back for a cut and color and I love both. She cut my best bangs ever and did two-tone low lights. And the best part, I told her not to take off length and she didn't! Amazing. But the best thing about her is that she really listens. She's not impatient and is very knowledgeable about different techniques. So far I'm very happy. I just wish this salon used better color. It seems like every salon in this area uses Wella color which looks very dull on the hair. Better color makes for much richer and shinier results. Update: I ended up going to this salon for a few years and never left unhappy. One day I walked in w/ no appt. and ended up with Amy. I really liked her as well. She is very nice and full of ideas. She gave me a body wave that I really liked. Her cuts were always average, but I just had long layers so I was satisfied enough to go back. For the convenience and price point, I got what I was looking for. I always do single process brown so that is easy and I was happy overall. Unfortunately I no longer work by the salon so I had to stop going. I will go back to her for more body waves. I posted a pic of my hair with the perm. It's enhanced with a curling iron so it's hard to tell what the perm itself looked like. read more

Today, I met with Emma who did a fantastic job cutting my hair. She was very attentive during the consultation and has a bubbly personality. I asked for a thick 60s fringe bang and layers and that's exactly what she gave me. Simple as that. Even my mom was impressed, and she's very hard to please with haircuts. I'm so happy with my new look and Emma will be my go to stylist moving forward. She wasn't at all intimidated by my frizzy, wavy/curly hair and actually complimented me on how healthy may hair was (unlike other stylists in the past who have suggested getting my hair relaxed). All in all, I highly recommend Emma. She's the best! read more

Entire haircut appointment took one hour from consultation all the way to blow dry & style. Connie was very professional and came up to a lightweight solution for my dry, damaged, thick hair. The only thing I didn't like about my visit was the receptionist, I think her name is Jordan. She was rude and dressed unprofessionally. Other than that, I had a great experience and look forward to returning in the future. read more

I've tried a lot of places around town, this one is the best in my opinion. Talented and friendly staff, especially Hero. He's REALLY good. If you want a nice FRESH cut, that's who you need to see. I went from getting practically no compliments on my hair, to getting compliments all the time. One Saturday right after seeing Hero, I walked into A-Town with a seriously fresh cut and within minutes at least 4 or 5 people mentioned that it was indeed a very fresh cut. Also, another thing I can say about him is if you kind of want to try something different/new, he's got great ideas. read more

This review is for Mashal - (pronounced Michelle, I could be spelling her name wrong) - she highlighted my hair and did a base here a few months ago; it's been a few months now and I am still happy and satisfied with what she did for me! She was also fun to talk to and she seems very passionate about her job. I am going back to her again soon for another highlight/base job :) read more
