I will never go back. Sad story. I usually don't like to write bad reviews unless I feel very disappointed. I went here for the 1st time under the recommendation of someone. I saw the stylist's work on IG and it looked great. I'm not an expert for hair technique names so I requested highlights to my roots (would be my 1st time trying that) & thick money pieces. Note: my hair was mostly blonde I had growth of like 6 months from a dark root/blonde look. Prior to my appt the salon called me 2x to reschedule my time, I didn't have a problem with that. I showed the stylist pictures and she got to work. After bleach application I noticed she did not do the thick money pieces I requested but I thought maybe it will look better when fully done. Everything seemed okay when she started blow drying my hair. I was not in love with the color b/c I felt it was not what I showed in the pics, it looked strawberry blonde & she did not do the thick money pieces; I left the salon after maybe 3ish-4 hours. It wasn't until the next day when my mom said something wasn't right with my hair and took pictures of the back of my head. I remembered the stylist never showed my the back of my head with a mirror, and I forgot to ask her. The back of my head was black, like my roots all out, the stylist didn't touch it, she put a couple streaks by the nape. I was in shock b/c I had gotten my hair done before and no one ever left my roots so untouched. I'm Latina, naturally dark brown hair. I was so saddened that that stylist let me walk out the salon like this or didn't even bring it to my attention that the back of my head looked like that. I called the salon and the receptionist said to come back they'll cover the fix. I go back several days later, sit in the same stylist chair and then she tells me it will be $160 to fix my hair, note: I paid $251 already (highlights, toner, cut) & I had text a picture to the stylist on IG with my concern- I was shocked by the price. I said I would not pay,
that I could pay the difference since my hair should have been done correctly when I originally went. The stylist said she did partial highlights and full highlights would cover the back of my head, she did not explain that to me the first time I went to the salon. If she would have said hey I'm leaving the back of your head black that okay?.. I would have told her no put some highlights there. Anyways, I didn't agree to pay so I left. The next day I called & spoke to manager, I explained the situation and asked questions. She said they would fix it no charge & she would talk to stylist. The stylist called me back said she would fix it I would just pay the difference of the partial & full highlights ($20-30), which is what I was willing to do when I went to the salon the 2nd time, but she let me walk out disappointed and with no solution. I decided to not go back for a 3rd time b/c at this point I was so disappointed by their service that I didn't feel right giving them another $20-30. I messaged the stylist on IG more pictures of my hair and a long explanation of my thoughts & feelings. Ultimately I felt played and super disappointed. Now I'm so self conscious b/c I put my hair half up/half down & in buns a lot, now I do not feel comfortable doing that b/c you can really see my growth untouched. Literally three of my friends made commends about my hair within the first week of it being done. I am just shocked by this whole experience, never has any stylist left my hair like that, and I have had my blonde for about 2 years. After this I will never go back to this salon or any of their branches. read more
