I haven't used their service since 2015 and moved out of state so I thought they must've mixed up my old info with someone else's and I called to let them know they were either being scammed or something was wrong with their system. The person I assume is Macy was very rude and was convinced I was in the wrong by not paying their invoice. She was unwilling to listen and basically decided I was lying from just a phone number. At the end I just told her to remove my information from their system and to never call me again. So beware when you give them your information, they might accuse you of not paying for an invoice from a job that you never asked them to do.

Decided to try Mesquite Plumbing/Mr. Rooter. We stayed home and waited for them to arrive. Late in the day they rescheduled for the next day. When they eventually arrived, the plumber looked at it and said that he would sour up an estimate. Thirty minutes later he presented the estimate for $1500 and another for $5000 to replace a non-leaking line by the street because the copper was "Green". Coincidentally, we just had that line replaced by Riddell for only $400, just 3 months ago when the city replaced our meter. I told the Mr. Rooter representative this and he told me that they do "by the Job" pricing vs. by the hour and that is why it cost so much. I paid him the $65 "service call charge" and sent him on his way. I then dug up the area around the valve and found a very small leak at one of the copper pipe junctions. Less than a half hour to fix for any decent plumber. I would literally be ashamed to operate a business in this type of predatory manner. If I didn't know something about plumbing, I would have been totally ripped off. BUYER BEWARE!

They took a look outside and gave us some options, explained how the faucet works, and then backed off to let us make our decision. We had them replace the entire faucet as we agreed it was possible the inside was damaged so after some quick work in the heat, they were all done. Sam even took the time to check on the previous repair from last month. Last month, they did a number of repairs (install new kitchen faucet, install new toilet, replace 2 shower cartridges plus other small items). They scheduled the appointment, showed up promptly, communicated so well throughout the entire job, offered advice, answered numerous questions, and basically went above and beyond. Our showers and kitchen faucet have never been so easy to use before. Once we got the part, the stove needed more work because the pipe diameters were unmatched. At first, he…read morewas very friendly, assuring my mother that it was probably just a simple clog and that we hadn't done anything wrong. He then claimed we didn't qualify for the $59 drain special because our home didn't have an exterior cleanout for the kitchen sink. That immediately seemed odd considering our house is only about 10 years old. A while later, I called my mom to check on the visit, and Christian got on the phone with me. He said the problem was either a broken kitchen branch line or a bad Studor vent--two completely different issues. His proposed solution was to start cutting into our kitchen cabinets or even jackhammering our foundation, despite having no evidence that either diagnosis was correct. Everything was presented as "it could be this" or "it could be that," but there was no proof to justify recommending such expensive and invasive work. When my husband arrived home, Christian's demeanor noticeably changed. The friendly attitude disappeared, and he seemed irritated that my husband was asking questions. He couldn't provide any convincing explanation or evidence to support his diagnosis, so we thanked him for his time and declined the work. The very next day, we had a new plumber come out for a second opinion. Within minutes, he located the exterior cleanout on the side of the house--the same one Christian insisted didn't exist. He ran a snake through the line and found the actual problem: a large grease blockage. Once it was cleared, the sink drained perfectly. No broken pipe. No bad Studor vent. No cutting cabinets. No jackhammering the foundation. Recommending major demolition without first finding the actual cause of the clog is unacceptable. It left us extremely concerned that we were being pushed toward thousands of dollars in unnecessary repairs. I also found it strange that Christian asked my mother whether the truck in the driveway belonged to my husband. I'm still not sure why that was relevant. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. Always get a second opinion before agreeing to costly repairs. In our case, it saved us from unnecessary demolition and a huge expense. Had I not listened to my gut I would have ended up with a demolished house AND still have a clogged sink.

They were scheduled to arrive between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, but they didn't show up until the very end of that window. Once they finally assessed the job, they immediately tried to tack on an additional $150, citing issues with my pipes and hinting that the total cost could easily rise even further. To make matters worse, they claimed they were completely unable to open the water meter cover, insisting that I would have to call the city to handle it. They even went as far as to claim they had tried everything, including prying it open with a crowbar. However, shortly after they left, my son arrived home, walked out to the meter, and opened it by hand with absolutely no effort. I decided to check my home security cameras, and the footage confirmed that they never even attempted to open the meter as they had claimed. It really felt like they simply didn't want to perform the work they had committed to, so they made up excuses to avoid it. I ended up hiring another plumbing company the very next day, and they were able to complete the entire project--including the additional pipe work and even cutting into the wall--for a total of just $400. The second company was transparent, efficient, and professional.
