My lease agreement required that I get professional cleaning service upon move-out, and I had an extremely difficult time finding a reasonably priced cleaning service that seem to have good reviews. After having very little luck hearing back from different local services for an estimate, I found Powerful Sponge while browsing on Google Maps for nearby cleaning services. I emailed Glaydston from the website and received a very quick response that morning. He was able to come by in person that same day to assess the unit and give me an estimate on the cleaning time. He was very very polite, cordial and professional with his interactions with me. Since I was rarely home due to frequent business trips, my space needed very little cleaning, so I was concerned about being charged too much for no reason. I also had to leave in the middle of the cleaning session, so I worried that the cleaning staff may misrepresent how much time they spent to clean the place. However, I was very surprised to hear that they actually finished before the quoted time, so I was charged less than I initially thought I would. I think this really shows the integrity of good business where they had an opportunity to quote whatever time they wanted (or minimally claim the time Glaydston initially estimated), but were honest and accurate with their time. The job was very well done and detailed. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the service for the price and the business's good, honest work ethic. We just took a break in house cleaning as it is too much to have everyone at home and trying to schedule people coming cleaning. Some minor things happened that I believe stem from these stressful times and I came to the conclusion that we just needed to evaluate the situation for a while. However, while doing the job myself I can tell that my gut feeling was correct. This is a company that knows how to clean. Yes, they do mistakes as other companies, but they have done a fantastic job where it counts. So, when we are ready to go back to cleaning services, I will not try a new company, I will return to them. The owner is amazing to work with and I have had a very professional experience through it all. I normally don't give reviews when I cancel a cleaning service, but this time I actually feel like I have to give them credit. We've been with Gladyston's company for a few years already, and we are using their services for our house, business and rental locations. They are great, and I am happy to see good people's good business grow. I don't remember how we found them. But I recall when they just started they were smaller and Gladyston would come himself with a helper, and they would speak Portugese :) Now they are quite a bit bigger and usually they send their employees, but they are same people every time who know your house and preferences. Their cleaning is SUPER thorough, their move-in and move-out cleaners left me amazed, they even vacuumed the garage and tidied it up!!! No drawer went unchecked. Keep it up folks. read more

No parts of the house is overlooked . From the obvious areas to the hidden areas, and they also pay extra detail to our children areas. ok. this guy is awesome. I had an emergency clean up to do when my tenants were moving out. He squeezed me in his schedule when no one else was available. Now I live in California and the property is in Kirkland. All via phone/text. He showed up on time. I knew the place was going to be dirty dirty, because the tenants didn't take care of the place. there were mold, dirty yellow tub, the oven was awful. They worked so hard, he kept sending me pictures of all the mess, they cleaned everywhere, behind the washer, dryer, oh my god. I don't know what I would have done without him.
