Still in love with Powerful Sponge cleaning services. Unlike most everything around me, this business runs like clockwork. I get advanced notice of my appointment the day before, I get a notice when the cleaning team is on the way and I promptly receive a receipt in my email once cleaning for the week is done. the owner of this service, Glaydston, couldn't be more nice and accomodating schedule-wise. Unlike every other service we have hired, Powerful Sponge has been trustworthy, high quality for the price, and REALLY consistent in their wonderful services. I owe my neighbor and her family dinner at Pagliacci or similar for the referral. read more

I have now used Powerful Sponge twice, once for a deep cleaning and once for a non-deep cleaning. I was blown away by their work both times. Upon entering my home, you could both see and feel how clean everything was. This company is detail-oriented in their work and I was 100% satisfied with the job they did. Communication is easy in scheduling an appointment, knowing when the team is scheduled to arrive, and when they are en route. Payment is easy with the link you are sent when the job is finished. The entire process is seamless. I would highly recommend using Powerful Sponge for your cleaning needs. read more

My lease agreement required that I get professional cleaning service upon move-out, and I had an extremely difficult time finding a reasonably priced cleaning service that seem to have good reviews. After having very little luck hearing back from different local services for an estimate, I found Powerful Sponge while browsing on Google Maps for nearby cleaning services. I emailed Glaydston from the website and received a very quick response that morning. He was able to come by in person that same day to assess the unit and give me an estimate on the cleaning time. He was very very polite, cordial and professional with his interactions with me. Since I was rarely home due to frequent business trips, my space needed very little cleaning, so I was concerned about being charged too much for no reason. I also had to leave in the middle of the cleaning session, so I worried that the cleaning staff may misrepresent how much time they spent to clean the place. However, I was very surprised to hear that they actually finished before the quoted time, so I was charged less than I initially thought I would. I think this really shows the integrity of good business where they had an opportunity to quote whatever time they wanted (or minimally claim the time Glaydston initially estimated), but were honest and accurate with their time. The job was very well done and detailed. Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of the service for the price and the business's good, honest work ethic. I would definitely patronize their services again and recommend them to others. read more

I called 4 times over two weeks trying to schedule service. Not a single time did they answer the phone or return my voicemails. Obviously they don't need the business, but atleast a call back would have been nice. read more

Yanira and Simone did such a wonderful job of deep cleaning-they even moved furniture! They also wiped absolutely everything while they were dusting. They accomplished so much so quickly. I think everyone using Simone and Yanira would be pleases. read more

We just took a break in house cleaning as it is too much to have everyone at home and trying to schedule people coming cleaning. Some minor things happened that I believe stem from these stressful times and I came to the conclusion that we just needed to evaluate the situation for a while. However, while doing the job myself I can tell that my gut feeling was correct. This is a company that knows how to clean. Yes, they do mistakes as other companies, but they have done a fantastic job where it counts. So, when we are ready to go back to cleaning services, I will not try a new company, I will return to them. The owner is amazing to work with and I have had a very professional experience through it all. I normally don't give reviews when I cancel a cleaning service, but this time I actually feel like I have to give them credit. I hope to be able to assume service with them in about six months. read more

We've been with Gladyston's company for a few years already, and we are using their services for our house, business and rental locations. They are great, and I am happy to see good people's good business grow. I don't remember how we found them. But I recall when they just started they were smaller and Gladyston would come himself with a helper, and they would speak Portugese :) Now they are quite a bit bigger and usually they send their employees, but they are same people every time who know your house and preferences. Their cleaning is SUPER thorough, their move-in and move-out cleaners left me amazed, they even vacuumed the garage and tidied it up!!! No drawer went unchecked. Keep it up folks. read more

Very professional cleaning services. We have tried many different cleaning services before we met Powerful Sponge. None have matched the level of services Powerful Sponge provides. No parts of the house is overlooked . From the obvious areas to the hidden areas, and they also pay extra detail to our children areas. Also Powerful Sponge does it faster and more thorough; half the time it takes for other companies to clean our house. They treat our house like their own, and spend that extra time to sort our recycles, Kids toys etc...these extra details matters a lot. It goes to show that they treat all their clients with superb service and extra attention. Brito and his staff have been cleaning our house for over 7 years, and we will never go anywhere else. read more

I don't normally write reviews but for this company I am because of how impressed I am of their work. I have tried out so many cleaners and never have I had a cleaner house with Powerful Sponge. They are extremely thorough in their cleaning. Glaydston and his team are kind, careful, thoughtful, and are great at their job. They provide a complete checklist of what you can expect with each clean and everything on that list is completed each time they come. You don't have to worry about things getting missed or skimmed over. They don't rush and make sure your house is cleaned to your liking. If you are in the Kirkland area and want a clean house each and every time call them. I am so glad I found them. Keep up the good work! read more

ok. this guy is awesome. I had an emergency clean up to do when my tenants were moving out. He squeezed me in his schedule when no one else was available. Now I live in California and the property is in Kirkland. All via phone/text. He showed up on time. I knew the place was going to be dirty dirty, because the tenants didn't take care of the place. there were mold, dirty yellow tub, the oven was awful. They worked so hard, he kept sending me pictures of all the mess, they cleaned everywhere, behind the washer, dryer, oh my god. I don't know what I would have done without him. I wish he was in California so i could use him myself. Awesome service. read more
