This time I booked one hours but I should ask for half hour more. Since my front body got like 10-15 minutes! But my back was sore needed of all that great points she pressed! I loved the experience so much that I immediately booked the longest session available (90 minutes). I have had two long massages with Kaui, and both have been truly sublime. So much so that I have two future sessions booked now! I will mention a few things about Kaui the person, Kaui the massage therapist, and about the spa. Kaui is an extremely likeable, friendly, and intelligent person who communicates well. An example of how kind and thoughtful Kaui is: after my last massage with her was over, she gave me a box of macadamia nuts covered in chocolate (macadamia nuts are not cheap!) she got on her recent trip to her home state of Hawaii. Kaui really goes the extra mile to please! Kaui's very wonderful qualities as a person would be admirable but they would largely be irrelevant when you want a great massage if Kaui did not deliver on the massage table. I have had massages from multiple people. They all did a fine job. But after my 90 minute massage sessions with Kaui I never felt more relaxed in my life!! Kaui moves over your body at just the right "Goldilocks" speed--not too fast, not to slow--just perfect. Kaui made massage movements I had not experienced before that made me melt into the massage table in sublime relaxed pleasure. Every minute of my massages with Kaui has felt wonderful! When Kaui is working her massage magic on your body she is wise enough to stay silent (except for a very occasional "pressure level OK?" check-in early in the message) so that talk does not distract you from the blissful relaxation you are experiencing under her hands. But if you initiate a conversation Kaui is more than happy to talk. Kaui is wise enough to let you control how long the conversation lasts. A car analogy fits. For me, getting a massage from others has been like driving a Honda Accord--a good experience but nothing really shines. In contrast, getting a massage from Kaui is like the "ultimate driving experience" when driving a top of line BMW. Kaui has provided me with the "ultimate massage experience" (nothing sexual implied; Origins Thai Spa is a totally legitimate place). Origins Thai Spa is exceptional as well. It is in a quiet location in Sterling (not a strip mall or other busy place). The spa is quiet and soothing from the moment step inside. All the receptionists are very friendly. It is very easy to make appointments online. You can have a warm massage table if you want it. After the massage is over, Kaui wipes you down with a warm towel to remove massage oil from your body. Plus a very welcome warm towel for your face at the end that caps off this most relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Kaui even immediately gave me one of the spa's robes when my bladder made me step down the hall for a minute during the massage. Kaui, you have a customer for life. Wanted to know if this place excepts health insurance for medical purposes. I could not get a hold of anyone...I will try again. I called again and the woman seems to understand only if you're coming in and how long your planning to stay. The woman clearly pretends to know very little English, but I feel this is untrue. I asked about health insurance and she did not answer my question. The fake laugh to deflect the question didn't help matters either. Asking other her more questions is useless...as Shredder would say..."Useless Jellyfish."...maybe not, I called again and did find out the prices...I have put them in tips...

I have read bad reviews on this place, but I did not meet one of the ladies that thought she was entitled to a tip. Because Kathy and I recognized each other, things went more smoothly, than it could have been. Kathy already knew what pressure, but checked with me to make sure. It had been three years since I had seen here, but apparently my looks haven't chenged. What has changed is Kathy's knowledge of the English language and how good she is at it now. Her hair was short when I met her before, but now it is long and she seems to be in management now...at least this is how it seems to me. Upon arriving at the store, I saw new doors being installed and no one was out front because of the noise. There is; however, a doorbell to ring at the front counter. There are also cameras pointed at you too. The waiting area isn't bad, but the seating area was in use by the construction workers. Don't know if there as ever been a full house here, but there are four massage rooms from what I saw. Since I woke up early for work, I did not shower, because I had an easy 5 hour day today. I was planning on showering after work, but my boss called me and now I am working 11 shift today...cool, but I want a shower....since Jiafu offers body scrub, table shower and massage, I went with the table shower to get rid of some of the grime off me before the massage. Kathy lead me to the back corner of the store and upon entering the room, I saw it was nearly pitch dark. Regardless of the red light being on in the room. Turning on my flashlight, I was able to see where I could put my clothes. After undressing I was lead to the shower room which doubles as bathroom and laundry room was well. Disrobing and hanging the black robe on a hook, I climbed on top of the table a lay down. Kathy sprayed the table with hot water so the water mattress wouldn't be cold to the touch. A small towel was place where one's genitals would touch the table... I know it's a small detail, but I thought I would mention it. Not all places would do this small gesture. The warm water hit my body, but I asked her to make the water a little warmer. She complied, and the water felt even better on my skin. Kathy was very thorough. When I say thorough it means she cleaned between the buttcheeks and cleaned the genitals too. Something that goes beyond the call of duty...I am sure she would have done this with the body scrub too, but I didn't ask for that. Once the table shower was done, Kathy dried me off. Something I heard happen to a woman client at Ethiopia Massage. Her review comes to minds as this is happening to me. Kathy was thorough again with the back massage too. I nearly fell asleep, when I hear a very obnoxious noise coming from the dry cleaners next door. The beeping continued for 45 minutes of the massage and I could not really relax. Katy told me she has talked to the owner about this, but the owner can't do anything about this. This is something to take into account if your going to get a massage here. Also, the $50 massage is for either body massage or foot massage for 40 minutes only. The signs you might see around Sterling won't tell you this. It is mentioned online about this special. On my way out, I met Lucy who smiled and wished to massage me next time. I might take her up on the request, but I will call first to make sure she is there. This place wasn't bad for me, unless you count the annoying beeping noise from the cleaners. I will give this place two more times before I move on....ask for Kathy should you decide stop by here. I haven't experienced what Lucy can do yet, but I will hope to have an answer to this in about two weeks time.

It was perfect. My massage therapist, Judy, was phenomenal. Strong, skilled, and determined to work out years of tension from my desk job. She even tackled knots I've had for over a decade.
