Whether you're into classic styles or looking for something more adventurous, there's something for everyone on tap. I travel to this area for work, and this spot is always on my list. That said, if you've been here, you know it's on the smaller side, with even less seating since it isn't patio weather currently. After a very short, less than five minute wait, a table opened and we were seated. Our server came over with menus, and took our drink order, shortly after we sat down. We were excited to see the new winter menu. Bob ordered the Teocali turkey - turkey, bacon, rocket (aka lettuce), cranberry jam, and Brie, served with chips - he said it was really good. I ordered the buttermilk chicken sandwich, which came in a beautifully toasted roll, with an enormous piece of chicken, carrot salad, greens, sriracha mayo, and fries. The sriracha mayo added a nice kick to a delicious sandwich. Our server was great - super friendly, and checked on us multiple times. We will be back to try more of the menu (I was eyeing up the duck confit).

Maybe I am a little biased, but a $42 ribeye should be thicker than 1/2" like the ones served at discount chain restaurants. My steak was under seasoned while the small steaks had enough seasoning it could be scrapped off with a fork. The waiter only was seen twice, once to take the order and the other to bring the check. When the steaks were delivered, my drink was empty. By the time the waiter came with the check, I had also emptied my water cup. I inquired if ice tea refills were not included. Anyway - if you do decided to go - stay away from the entries and maybe try the burgers? Just don't expect to be asked how they are or receive refills on beverages :(.

Simple menu written on a chalk board because it varies daily. The prices seem appropriate for a quality food truck and for the area as well. I was already debating the Philly or the shrimp poboy depending on what they had and it turned out to be the poboy. Order didn't take long and then my huge sandwich arrived. It came with a small bag of chips, but the sandwich itself is huge and loaded. The sandwich is on a soft hogie rather than the traditional french type of bread, but it's delicious and fresh . The shrimp (plump, perfectly cooked and plenty) is in a kind of dark cajun remoulade mixed with bacon and sauteed onions with multi colored bell peppers. Oh, and it has lettuce so you don't feel bad about eating it all in one sitting! :) Overall, I loved it! Bursting with flavor in every bite! Felt more like a Cajun shrimp Philly minus the cheese. Only if I was to be the one to name it of course! There is no such thing as a shrimp Philly though...yet! We had the House Malbec, from Mendoza, Argentina, and it had a delicious flavor and aroma. It was a full bodied and smooth, dark red offering. For an appetizer, we had the Shishati grilled peppers with pesto/cilantro sauce, and they were just fantastic. They are mild, nicely grilled, and beautifully presented. It is served as an appetizer, but please be warned, one out of every nine peppers is exceedingly hot. We had about 12 peppers, and all of them were mild, so we beat the odds! I've had hamburgers all over the world, and I can honestly say I have not had a better cheeseburger than I got right here from the menu at Blackstock. It's in a traditional bun, lightly toasted, with tempura, onion, cracked pepper, mayo, Tabasco, candied and smoked bacon, and it is served with Hand-cut fries. You can add guacamole for a dollar, or blue cheese or Gruyere cheese for another dollar. But I did not add a thing; it was perfect as it came out of the kitchen for me! You will be asked how you want your hamburger cooked, and I chose medium. It could not have been better! It's on the menu at a very fair $21 including your hand-cut fries. My lovely dinner-date had the petite filet mignon, a 5-ounce offering of spectacular steak, served with goat cheese, potato croquettes, asparagus, stewed shallots, served with a Cabernet Demi glaze at $45. It was a large serving, I believe bigger than 5 ounces, because we are taking half of it home in a to-go box! Again, the food was spectacular... really good. We will finish with the flourless chocolate torte, serve with whipped cream and Amarina dark cherries at $11. If I was a betting man, I'd say you're gonna love this place! Take a few pictures, do what I did, and leave a review, because more people need to know the quality of food coming out of this little storefront on a busy street in Gunnison! I ordered a BLT with Coleslaw on the side. It was nearly perfect. Crispy bacon fresh off the grill, juicy flavorful sliced tomato and lettuce leaves all inside lightly toasted thin sliced white bread with a generous slathering of lemony mayo. I highly recommend this great little place when in the Curicante NR area.
