I reached out to Power RV, because they were somewhat local, they appeared to be a smaller dealership, and being a small business owner myself, I always try to support smaller, local businesses. I went to Power RV about July 5th, 2025. I met with Kelley and was able to test drive the 2025 Coachmen Crosstrail 20XG motor home. I had been researching these for quite a while, and the drive did not disappoint. Over the next couple weeks, I negotiated a fair price through Kelley, who was running negotiations through David, the owner. After agreeing on price, Juan, the finance manager, reached out to collect a $3,000 deposit. I told Kelley from the beginning that I was going to have a third-party pre-purchase inspection, and had my own financing. I did send Kelley all of the preapproval information on August 6th. Kelley thanked me for the information and said that's exactly what they would need. When the inspector arrived, they had an extension cord plugged into the RV, and the propane tank was not full. They did have a hose available. The inspector called me during the inspection to inform me that the RV had a "hot skin condition, " meaning there was voltage on the outside of the RV. He was able to have the motorhome moved to a different area of the dealership where he could get a 30 amp connection. Once it was plugged into a 30 amp connection and not an extension cord, the original issue with the hot skin condition cleared. They also eventually filled up the propane tank. There were several items on the inspection report such as an electrical outlet wired wrong, a couple of the outside doors would not lock, there was a fair amount of rust on the driveshaft and rear differential, and a couple of loose/missing trim pieces inside the motorhome. They agreed to correct the items, except for the undercarriage rust that was mentioned. The comment that I got was "all vehicles have rust." Even with that, I was prepared to move forward, because for a few hundred dollars, I could have the rust removed. They needed a few more days to get those issues corrected, so the date agreed upon to go down and finalize things was August 12th. Friends drove me down to the dealership on August 12th. I met with Kelley, who took me in to meet with Juan, the finance manager. I sat down to review and handed him the cashiers check for the down payment. Juan appeared confused. It appeared he was expecting a check for the full amount. I told him I had pre-approved financing, and I had provided all the information to their dealership the week before. Juan said he would need to talk with the owner. I left the finance manager's office and returned to the motor home to wait. We had arrived at the dealership around 11:30 and around 3:30 or so, they still did not have things figured out. Kelley told me that they would deliver the RV to my home once they had everything resolved. My friends and I left the dealership. After thinking about things, I canceled the deal. If it is this difficult to purchase a motor home, I cannot imagine what any service needs would be like. I had to request my $3,000 deposit back on three separate days before I received it. Here's my take. They do not like it when you come in with your own pre-approved financing. They had all the pre-approval financing information for six days, and they told me to come down to pick up the motor home on August 12th. I don't know whether the lack of working with my finance company was deliberate or an accident, but in any case, it caused me a lot of wasted time. Seems to be an important question as they are the ones who told me to come down on August 12 to pick up the motor home. While waiting in the motor home on August 12, Kelley would check in periodically with me. I feel bad for the position she was put in. I feel like the owner really dropped the ball on this. Let's be clear, I was not buying a set of bath towels. This was a $135,000 motor home. Although nobody was rude per se', ownership doesn't seem to care. Very disappointed. I do not recommend this dealership. read more

Salesman trying to steal other salesmans leads, salesman that dont know simple warranty data on units, to salesman affraid to show financial contracts, after you qualify for credit (802 credit score). for reveiw ahead of pickup/signatures. I was happy with the deal we made. however I was not happy with customer service after papers were signed. They made promises they did not keep after the sale. I was verbally told I would receive 3 tier steps for my rv by salesman and we agreed to it as a condition of sale by handshake. the manager didn't like what he had done and told him if he went through with it they would have to come out of his paycheck. needless to say I never received my steps and just got the run around. I was also promised a new set of accessory locks and received a single piece of a single lever in the mail instead. useless. I will not shop there again. Terrible experience! Do not recommend. Cut throat dealership. One salesman tried to steal the sale from our salesman. Had all paperwork filled out and credit ran, then trailer was sold to another customer. Had unnecessary ding on credit, and we never got offered or suggested to look at something else that might work for us. read more

Our family had been preparing to sell our house and become full-timers over the next year as we travel the country in our truck and travel trailer with our 8 and 6 year olds. In the midst of chaos of preparing our house for sale and trying to downsize a 3 br house down a travel trailer and storage unit, we ran out of time on trying to figure out how to properly install our distribution hitch and sway system we had purchased. Our first destination was in Northern CA, and I didn't feel comfortable making that far of a trip without having the proper hitch installed, so we stopped by an rv place in Salem who pretty much laughed at me for asking if they had time to install a hitch that day. We called another place in Salem and got the same response. After calling around and being shot down by a few more places, we had been referred to Power RV and to speak with a guy named Brian. Feeling defeated, we called Power RV around noon and spoke with Brian, asking if he had availability for a hitch install. He asks, "Can you bring it in around 1:30-2?" We were so excited we rushed down as quick as we could while pulling a 29 footer! When we arrived, the shop was top notch and Brian and his team could not have been more helpful! They had a great place for us to hang out while the hitch was being installed, and Brian even helped to answer some of my newbie questions and provide me helpful tips and anecdotes for our trip! When all was said and done, Brian and a crew member gave us a crash course on how to dismount the hitch and even threw in a block of wood for our Jack stand. The customer service was amazing and life saving for us! Although it is difficult to expect same day service from anyone, Brian said the like to leave a little room in their calendar if they can for people passing through who need emergency services. This was the best way we could start our journey and we owe a huge part to Brian and his team for squeezing us in and giving us the confidence we needed to hit the road! read more

I had previously discussed this with on of the salesman over the phone when my husband started looking around at Power RV. My husband and I thought we were buying a 2018 Wildwood trailer. They ran our credit told us we were approved had us sign papers then told us we would be able to pick up the following week, Saturday comes no call so I call them they tell us we weren't approved no one called us the salesperson Joe tells me it's above his pay grade as to the reason why i hadn't heard from anyone. So after speaking with my husband I call and talk to the manager who tells me he's upset that his sales person didn't call us....ya me to but not just that they also now have trailer under contract with someone else, I asked the manager but what about the contract my husband and I had and he didn't care all he cared about was the fact that he was having to speak with me. Monday I called the bank they said they got the "approval'" through and bank told me no it wasn't them... so now not only did the sales person lie their own sales manager has lied to us.
