We are complete RV newbies and Duane in the service department was awesome. We'd had brake problems since we got the RV and he helped us figure out what was wrong, adjusting the brake controller and giving us good advice. We had wanted to install another outlet near our dinette so we could charge our computers and phone, but they said there was one already installed! *sheepish smiles* They totally could have charged us for a new outlet and we wouldn't have known. I would not recommend Roberson RV based on my experience. There were clear issues with both the walkthrough and the condition of the trailer at delivery. During the orientation, the technician could not confirm whether the water heater was on or off, he didn't know which position meant what on the switch. I later discovered he had left it on while empty or filled with antifreeze, and it had been cycling for several days before I caught it. That is a basic oversight that could easily lead to damage, which I won't know until my area is above freezing. More serious was the complete failure of the 12V charging system from day one. After bringing the trailer home and leaving it plugged into shore power, I returned to a fully discharged battery. The converter was not charging the battery at all. The battery had dropped to 11.9V and remained there for an extended period, which is widely understood to cause permanent damage in AGM batteries. I thoroughly documented the issue with video evidence, including voltage testing and isolating the fault to the converter. Despite this, I was not offered a reasonable or practical solution. The only options presented were multiple long-distance trips back to the dealership, totaling thousands of miles and significant time, or waiting 6+ weeks for a more local service center to diagnose something that had already been clearly identified. At that point, I had no choice but to purchase and install a new battery and converter myself, out of pocket, just to make the trailer usable. After replacing those components, everything worked immediately. This situation could have been avoided with a basic pre-delivery inspection and a willingness to work with clear diagnostic evidence. Instead, I was left to resolve a brand-new equipment failure on my own. It's also been 3 weeks since I purchased the camper and my DMV has not received paperwork from Roberson to allow me to register and use the RV. I highly advise avoiding them at all costs, I should have read the other reviews sooner. read more

Very disappointed in Roberson. Earlier this month my husband took our 5 year-old travel trailer in for winterization. While the trailer was there, they (Roberson) checked the roof and reported back that there was damage in the back corner, that there was a 'soft' spot and it needed to be repaired. My husband asked for a quote for said repair, and a few days later he received a quote of $14,000 (the quote was to replace the entire roof, which was NOT necessary)! Needless to say, we got the name of an RV shop for a second opinion. The roof had just a small patch that needed to be sealed. While we had it in the shop, we had them address a couple of other maintenance items. TOTAL amount for everything was $590.00. The disgusting part about this is that there are a LOT of people who completely trust places like Roberson. And they spend those huge amounts no questions asked. Ok so I bought a Jaco Flight Travel trailer at a different location and moved to the salem area and wanted to get my trailer fixed for warranty issues and the service department was quite rude and very unfriendly. They rushed me out and said well most of the stuff wouldn't be covered by the warranty, like this trailer is only 9 months old. They were like well its all on you they said. We started looking for an RV last fall and didn't find much because the fires and evacuations (on top of covid issues) meant people were buying out everything available. We kept searching and began looking again in February. We had some pretty specific wants and needs and found that we were usually just a little too late. The most common response at each dealership was, "We aren't sure when we'll get anything else in. What about this one? It's almost what you want." We passed. It's not an expense I want to settle on. We saw one we really liked at Roberson. Drove up, walked through the trailer and knew it was the one we wanted. We went inside to talk numbers and found out we were about 30 minutes too late as a family had just sat down to talk numbers before the sold sign could be placed in the window. Roberson was the only place that said, "We can order what you want, but it may take 8-10 weeks." Not only did they offer to order one, they apologized profusely and "made it right." Everything was right on track as discussed. We were able to drive up once it was ready and pick it up. The walkthrough was thorough and fun. The checklists help to ease the mind. I blew a tire on my tent trailer on interstate 5 near Enchanted Forest. The tire wrapped around the axel and also tore out some electrical wiring, which wrapped around the brakes and axel as well. No way I could fix on the side of the road. It was 5:15pm and places were about to close. Found Roberson RV on google and spoke with Bob. What a tremendous help he was.... compassionate and concerned. He was able to recommend a tow service and allowed them to drop off the trailer that evening. RV repair places are extremely busy now, and Roberson was no exception. Yet still, Bob had his guys cut out the old tire from the axel and the wiring that had wrapped around it as well. He wasn't able to do the needed electrical repairs due to the booked schedule, but was able to get me safely back in the road the very next morning....AT NO CHARGE!!! He knew I was stuck in a bad place and was able to get me back on the road. I will be taking my tent trailer there for the electric repairs needed later in the season. We bought a new Keystone 26' travel trailer from Roberson RV in July and find that while the floor plan and equipment is excellent, fitment was cheaply done in shades not attached properly, cupboard handles not secure, window screens do not fit, sliding doors have cheap guides and near impossible to reattach when they come off the track. The ceiling vents have no covers so when it rains with them open it rains inside. Gut feeling is the trailer is about $10,000 over priced. It was like, take our money and get out! Service is lousy. We needed some repairs and Service never heard of our trailer manufacturer and gave the impression that it "sucks to be you". No one answers the phone, dial 2 if you want sales, 3 if you want service, 4 if you want parts, leave and number and we will call you back... No, we are NOT happy with Roberson RV! read more

We purchased an RV Roberson RV or should I say Robbers Son, the RV we purchased was supposed to be a 2019 Coachman Pursuit, looks great and we thought it was, NOT, we were charges over 103,000.00 for a broken motorhome, warrantee and service plan, since we were traveling they knew they would not have to honor the agreement at all, 103,000.00 wasted because we assumed this was a reputable business. STAY AWAY, break downs, problems after problem, no response from them and we we did reach someone we were passed around from person to person. and , liked the hoped, we just got tired of calling, so here we are.. Some of the worst service we have ever received. On the lot, it seemed like we were an after thought. All questions were answered with the least amount of enthusiasm possible. A throwback to a time when salesmen were dishonest and assumed their customers wouldn't know any better. Can't get away with that in 2016. People can price match on their phones. They can find the actual list price. Finding an honest car/RV dealer is tough, at Robison it is impossible. That's what it boils down to. Terrible. read more

My wife Barbara, and I visited on July 25th 2019 and it was over 90 degrees. Coaches were hot but our salesman Ron the bald guy( that is printed on his card) knew we were on the way. He opened the two motorhomes we asked about and also thought we might want to see others so he also had them open for us. We were there for an hour plus touring units and Ron explained everything to our satisfaction and never pushed us to buy. We were not ready to buy but wanted to gather information and view options and he said that was fine with him. We will return and only deal with Ron Peirce for our Motorhome as he really made us comfortable. He has great knowledge of all the units on the lot and earned our respect. We think of him as a really great person who listens and respects our requests and goes the extra mile to please I do not know if this will post or not but what a great experience for us as newbies. I just bought a brand new 2021 Dutchman aspen trail travel trailer for over 30k. I haven't even had it for 3 months yet it has had 4 terrible leaks from the outside leaving water coming in through the walls, above the doors, and above windows. We brought it in and had the first three fixed just to have another bad leak coming in through the bottom of the wall a week later. I have only been told to take it in again. All of that is not including the countless water leaks under the sinks, water pump, and black water sprinkler, trim falling off and more. Bob and Chris from service have been great to me BUT Roberson and Dutchman have not done anything to make this very terrible experience with poorly built trailer right. A buyback is needed with this much water damage. read more

Sold my 76yr old parents a motorhome which the jacks never worked from the get go. They were defected in the lot, pushed a couple buttons (reset the board) and sent them on their way. Jacks failed to work again when they got home. Returned the rv to the dealership next day. Two days of not being able to fix it, my parents informed them they didn't want the purchase and wanted their previous motorhome back. Told them since they drove it off the lot there's nothing they can do. Still haven't fix the pos they sold them. read more

We stopped by just to see what they had on the lot. We are moving from Washington to Oregon and they told us all we needed was a utility bill to establish Oregon residency and not pay sales tax. They were very willing to tell us whatever it took to get us to agree to a deal before we left the lot. We didn't need the unit for 2 months -- so just a few days before we were to pick up the unit we were told our RV lease (which included water and electric) would not work for the banks. WOW -- we were shocked and really out on limb with no place to live. We ended up getting a much better deal (even when paying sales tax) at Camping World in Portland on the exact same unit. My wife and I love to travel and camp! We bought a used 2009 travel trailer 5 years ago and have enjoyed it. But time to upgrade to a new model. I had my first experience with Roberson Ford buying my new truck, extremely pleased with that experience! Once I found Roberson RV I knew I had to see if I had the same experience! Our first contact was thru the internet and received a quick reply from Lara. She gave us information on the models we were interested in and was very prompt and courteous! We were going to look on the days she was out of office unfortunately! However upon arrival we were greeted by Geoffrey Tucker, very nice and friendly. We had a list of models to look at and he answered all our questions and gave us the grand tour. Thanks to Geoffrey our experience was wonderful! Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Traveling from Sonora Ca,we filled out an online form asking for service while we were traveling, as we were planning to stop in Salem, Never Received a call back, I called the service Dept, they saw my request but they informed us our 2003 Winnebago Brave was too old and they could not help us. We bought a small camper about a year ago. The sales team was very helpful and not pushy. We have had a couple of small issues with our camper and they have done an above and beyond job to help us out. They have also been great for advice over the phone. Poor customer service almost all the way around. Called ahead to view a trailer on their lot. Arriving, the man helping me, older guy, did not know his product, could not answer my questions(basic questions), did not have a means to get in to the trailer, would not ask another employee for a key to 'somewhere' that a piece of equipment was stored that he obviously was not entitled to access that special store room. He also wanted to talk about the places I am researching for same trailer, instead of talking about his own business and what they had. He also told me that Sundays has only three employees working, only one was with a customer when I arrived. I was the only other customer there, with two men, employees, sitting in front desk area. It became obvious that desk work was the priority and not making a sale today, or dealing with a customer. I am sorry to give such a poor rating, but being in a marketing field, Good Customer Service is top priority. Going above and beyond is a necessity. Knowing your product top to bottom is required. The two stars is for the man that first emailed me back with information, otherwise I would have rated '0' to '1'. I went into Roberson Rv a few weeks before we were ready to buy talked to Ron "the bald guy" he was great to deal with. We picked the trailer we wanted then and when it was time I called Ron back and again he did a good job getting everything ready to go over the phone then that was my last conversation with him never to be heard of again. I bought on August 28th for the most part a very smooth purchase brought the trailer home and began using it right away about 3 days later I noticed a leak coming from underneath and investigated it found that a piece of pipe for the shower drain wasn't even installed so most of the shower water for 4 people 3 days was under the belly of the trailer tried to call all weekend long with no answer (holiday weekend) finally got ahold of them and was told to bring it in which I did today. Told them I didn't want it repaired I wanted it replaced told me they couldn't do that even though it was a manufacturer defect basically was told to take my stuff and find a new place to do business. While sitting in the lot water was running out from under the trailer which has been there going on a week at this point. People who have owned Rv's know that once water hits these things there's pretty much no chance to stop the damage at least that's been my experience. I told them I was willing to let them tear it apart to confirm what I had already found and give them time to setup a replacement but didn't get that far. I'll admit I wasn't probably the best person to deal with but I wasn't happy and didn't want this first week of ownership pretty much ruin going forward with this trailer. What seemed like a no brainer to me. The 2 stars are for Bill who was great on explaining to me the ins and outs of the trailer and for what little but good experience I had with the salesman. read more
