I have never. Ever. In my whole life ever. Had such a wonderful moving experience as what I had with Power Moving. I received quotes from 20 different companies and not one would give me a straight answer and everyone either under estimated the job or submitted a price so high you'd think I was moving a 6 bedroom home in High Park! Power Moving was exact, specific and honest. They quoted 10 hours on the job and I thought that was insane, but true to word it took exactly 10 hours and the guys never stopped working. In addition their hourly price was far lower than anyone else ($129/hr + a $150 truck fee). The team was incredible, they wrapped everything from leather couches down to my daughters high chair (which didn't need it - but they did it anyway). The guys were friendly, helpful and joking throughout the day and even went the extra mile to save time on disassembling furniture that needed it just enough to get it on the truck rather than waste time taking it fully apart. There are hundreds of fly by night movers, and I've worked with a few who damaged everything and charged far too much. Power Moving was honest, full of integrity and efficient. worst movers I've ever had was quoted 900 for a half move they had all my boxes packed in an hour great start then two of the movers stayed in the truck and only one guy did the rest they took 10 hours including sitting out front of my new place because they couldn't get in the driveway no call of help they just sat in the truck until i called them the building driveway was big enough for a garbage truck to get it ant they did not have a truck bigger when they unloaded the truck they dumped everything in one room the couch could not even be placed properly my friend and I unwrapped all the furnature and still only one guy worked the other two sat in the truck my antique Victrola was damaged as well as my china cabnet they then tried to charge me 1900 because the move took so long I was paying for three movers but only had one I tried to discuss the price and damages and was offered 150 rebate I did not except and they went straight to collections total scam movers the one gentleman was nice but overworked he asked if he could heat up his lunc/ dinner but I would have had to pay for him to eat while the other two sat in the truck I hope he found another job because they abused his service I have moved a lot and this was the worst I had already disassembled all furnature and also moved stuff into the garage to speed things up they left things behind that I could not retrieve later also broke a mirror and left behind a door for my wall unit I will never recommend this company and I have warned people from it the positive reviews strike me as fakes unless they have multiple movers read more

The worst EVER! Do not use this company. Arrived at 11:15 vs 9:30. By 1 pm I was trying to contact their Head Office to replace one of the movers. No one would call me back, they just emailed me. My move was a 2 bedroom bungalow, 1 queen size bed and no appliances. It took 5 hours to load the truck, 2 of us helped load and I disassembled my bed, dining table and hutch. NO MASKS WORN BY MOVERS EITHER!! There was 3.5 hours of driving to my final destination but my entire move finished at 2 am, which included 2 people to help the movers unload the truck!! When I disputed the bill for the employee that did nothing but hide and smoke all day, they locked the truck forcing me to call the police. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. I AM FILING IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT!! read more

We hired Power Moving based on Homestars and Google reviews and the fact that they were very flexible and communicative during the quoting process. I had the pleasure of communicating with James several times before our move via email and his response time to my many questions was super fast. We were sent 5 very capable movers and were moved out and into our new home in no time. The movers were courteous and on task the entire day. They took great care in disassembling, protecting, and reassembling all of our belongings, and there was zero damage to anything during our move. They moved our piano with great care, as well as a very heavy basketball net. They communicated with us the entire time and they demonstrated leadership and experience. They arrived on time and were very polite. They toke the time to wrap everything and put mats down to prevent the floor from getting scratch. They charged us $139 per hour for three movers and a 20' truck. Our move was local, from Toronto to Toronto. We moved from a very tight condo in liberty village to a townhouse in Etobicoke. Everything went smoothly and the price was unbeatable. Great movers for a great price. read more

The three men sent to move my one bedroom apartment were strong personable and courteous. They did all the things I needed without me having to ask and did not damage or mar any of my possessions. They also gave me extra boxes when I had run out and did not complain about any of my requests. I was very satisfied with the company and the individuals and recommended them to my sister who they also moved this week. Three different men, same excellent service. read more

!!! WARNING !!! Our moving experience was one of the worst we have ever had. Big zero for the company and will never work with you's again and spreading the word. Was not greeted at all. I had to confront the workers. There was no "hello we are from power moving, how are you?" Nothing.  Zero customer service skills.They just had a grand smug attitude. It took them a total of 15 minutes just to get out of the truck. (I see why they work hourly) The 2 workers were not friendly by any means. One was sitting in the truck for a large amount of time, while the other wrapped our delicates. (No wonder it took them so long to pack and move.. I paid for 2 guys and received 1 and a half at best.) I wrapped more belongings then the one worker. Thank God I did or it would have took them 12 hours to do a 3 hour job. He would move extremely slow, carrying one or 2 small things at a time. While literally walking in circles. There was zero communication from the sales rep to the workers, the workers had to ask the same question up to 4 times. Ex. Do we have to move everything in this space? I felt as if we were working with children. Yes we have to move everything. I don't know how/why they could not comprehend that answer. But after the 4th time it clicked. And they were not properly wearing their mask. Completely unexceptional! I can't believe you have anti-maskers working for your company putting our lives in danger. I have photos of your workers with out masks. I'll attach a photo. We would like some kind of compensation for this extremely dangerous/ poor job. We are going for covid-19 tests this week. Your workers are the only people that exposed themselves to us without a facemask (We of course had ours on the whole time) Here is my phone number I'm happy to speak with any part of management about the neglect, arrogance, and life threatening behaviours this company and workers provided. Our movers didn't provided you a customer service job that they need to speak with you, but that had to move non stop and carry heavy items.
