We based our decisions based on Yelp (4.5 stars). However, they dropped a few items and things were broken and/or damaged (broken floor lamp, busted toaster oven, scratched dining room bench, and our dryer door has a noticeable scratch). They gave a reasonable quote (hourly rate). My husband spoke with Ra and handled the negotiations. When they got to our home, they wanted more money because they were not aware of a small loft with a sofa, table, and 55" TV. My husband asked during the first phone call if there was anything else that he needed to tell them more regarding the home and they said no. We moved from a split level 1513 sqft condo and they took about 8ish hours. They team was nice, but I would never use them again for future moves. read more

The team was really friendly and sent several guys out with our move. It moved fairly quick, all things considered. The pricing was very competitive. They give you a lil parting gift at the end of services which was kind of a nice touch. Unnecessary but cute. It was a $0.99 store glass dish. Our move was slightly complicated as our home we were moving into, was not quite ready. We had to make a couple trips to the storage unit to unload and then a second unload stop at our temporary location. Upon unloading at the storage unit. we did notice a couple of things damaged. Our plastic bins that we packed into were completely cracked. We advised NOT to stack bins too high bc of the overall weight. They did not listen. They were fairly rough with most of our belongings. At the end, we figured, it was a just a few bins..... The other downside was that they did NOT tarp any of the carpet that they were walking on. Sure, we were moving out but... we were also selling that home and had a final inspection as to which the WHITE carpet was completely filthy and full of foot traffic marks up and down the stairs, in the bedrooms and hallways... everywhere. It's been 8 mos since the move. We have finally moved into our permanent home. We hired another company to help with the move based on our previous experience of no tarping and also the damage as they were not careful with our belongings. After seeing our things come OUT of the storage unit, we noticed how many more items were actually damaged by Power Moving 24/7. Our refrigerator was dented, bookshelves were cracked, chipped, and/or SEVERELY scratched. Beds were covered but not completely so when they were "slid" into the storage unit, it tracked dirt onto mattresses or fabric bed frames. Things that were taped securely, were taped with PACKING tape on wood finishes which ended up peeling off any lacquer upon unpacking. Masking tape was used on other items. Really, painter's tape should have been used. When they took apart furniture to load onto the trucks, they did not keep screws/legs/parts with the same furniture item. We had quite the scavenger hunt trying to rebuild things. At the end, what we saved in the hourly rate (plus the $0.99 parting gift) we received much more in damages... Personally, not worth the savings if you have a lot of furniture that you care about reusing. If you are having them move a few things that aren't of high value, then this service might be okay. read more

I utilized the moving services of power moving 24/7 on June 25 and June 26, 2021 found them through this Yelp app. This moving company was amazing. On the 25th two young ladies showed up to pack my house and they did a terrific job they took the time needed to protect my stuff. The next day on the 26th the movers showed up and moved me 35 miles from my home in Temecula to my new place in Oceanside. These guys were very professional all the way, but best of all they were on time! The complete move was done in a very timely, cost effective and efficient manner. Highly recommended! My moving day was extremely stressful, because it seemed as if nothing was going right! Broken lamp shades, chipped dining table and wrong set up for the dryer after the move. We didn't know it was hooked up wrong until the dryer wasn't drying clothes properly. Had to have the utility company come to correct the issue. Also no compensation for the damages done when they promised to compensate. They ignored emails and phone calls. I am very disappointed in having worked with them. The movers were nice but the overall shady treatment of the damages and compensation are very unprofessional. read more

Hi Power movers 24/7 helped me move my piano from a second story apartment to my new house. They did an amazing job dissembling the piano legs, wrapping all the piano up and moving it very carefully downstairs. Very professional. Very responsive to text messages and calls and they were at my place on time.No scratches no hits whatsoever. Everything went wrong with this move starting with them being 8 hours late due to truck issues. The crew that came we're honestly just the most disorganized guys I've worked with. The pack job in the truck was loose and we had many damaged corners on furniture. We didn't realize it until we started moving items out of storage. Items even within boxes packed with paper and bubble wrap broke which means boxes fell in the truck on the drive. No contract was provided (not professional). I had the pleasure of utilizing this company for my recent move this past week. Service was exceptional, I was provided with 2 men, and a 24" truck for a one bedroom move. Prices were reasonable, and the amount of stress I saved due to their help was wonderful. They also disassembled and re-assembled furniture which also was a blessing ! They were available last minute, with just two days notice, and they fit me into their afternoon after moving another job in the AM. Overall the guys were nice. They were a bit slow maybe it's because they were high ? I'm not sure but they smelled of weed. Apparently they wanted more money to move at a slow pace. When I called they said that they took things appart. I didn't know this was with a screwdriver and would take an extra hour to get three TVs off the wall and two shelves. I got a drill and took everything else off the wall ro save time. I also moved over thirty boxes to help save time. I would never recommend this company. I am left hiring another company because they didn't even come close to finishing. When the movers got to my storage unit everything was thrown in there and not stacked nicely. Again I had to help them do this ( well a friend came and helped for over an hour just so I wouldn't pu even more money. ) I now have to go re arrange the storage because nothing else will fit. I would not recommend using this company. I have moved many times and this was not a good experience. I hired them based on YELP ratings. Showed up 2 hours late. Could not fit my belongings into their truck even though all was reviewed prior to the move. I had to rent a uhaul the next day to finish. The packers they sent were horrific and the amount charged was OUTRAGEOUS! They packed many fragile, heavy items in boxes that were too large and when taking off the truck some strong guys could not even handle them. There are many broken items. The movers were polite and wrapped the furniture but the handling and packing was not good. They left many things undone when it got late. I communicated the issues to the owner, RA, and nothing has been done to rectify this experience. Bad news! read more

I've had the worse day of my life hiring this company for starters they got to my old condo 2 hours late once they started working 2 hrs pass by then I'm told if they go passed 8 hours I have to pay time and a half they saw I had work out equipment they hit me with a new fee called heavy equipment fee of 200 after 6 hrs went by of me watching no movement at my old place I decided to come babysit them we left my old condo at around 11pm the unloading was no different my family and I had to help remove the wrapping off of the furniture and here comes the big kicker my 84 inch LG led tv WAS DROPPED!!!!! Once of the employees aka the managers brother admitted they had dropped it he calls his brother and his brother told me they had to investigate what had happened long story short I'm out a TV they lost my zero gravity mattress holder and battery pack it was a huge mess please stay away from this company there's good ones out there this one you better run like hell read more

Ra and josh just helped me and my husband move into our first home together and they were beyond amazing! They arrived ON TIME which is super important when moving. They got right to business and hustled packing up our old 2 bdrm apartment and were very careful and diligent with all of our items. Not one piece of furniture was damaged or scratched during the move. They efficiently unloaded everything in our new place and set up anything that had to be taken down. The entire process took 5 hours and the price was extremely fair! Of note also we have two large reclining couches that are EXTREMELY heavy and they handled it no problem. Nothing goes easy when moving from point A to point B but these guys put forth the effort. The team was very meticulous in their dismantling and wrapping of furniture. They worked well together moving large pieces in tight spaces, down stairs, and into the truck. There was a minor accident but the owner stepped up huge to make it right. We had great success with Power Moving 24/7. Our movers were very polite. They were kind to us, as well as all of our neighbors. They handled our belongings with care. My husband and I are very grateful for their help. Moving is never an easy task, so it is always nice to have help. However, it is important to keep in mind that our one-bedroom apartment took four hours to move. The process moved very slowly, and my husband moved three truck loads of stuff himself. If my husband would not of been there the move would've probably taken much longer. There are extra charges for large/heavy items, so be sure to consult them on those items before you book (still worth the extra cost). Cash and card price do differ.
