I searched high and low (including online tutoring sites that let you choose your tutor) the outcome was fruitless.  Tutors who swore to have years of experience either were not as familiar with the material as they claimed or could not eloquently TEACH it. Also, the companies that charged ridiculous amounts like $150/hr did not show much for it. I know this because when trying Tutor Me LA, I also hired another tutor from a high-end tutoring company and Tutor Me LA's tutor was not only cheaper but MUCH MORE proficient.  We needed a few tutors - A gmat tutor, LSAT tutor, and a Math tutor. EVERY SINGLE tutor Tutor Me LA sent over was great. Their Guarantee took any hesitancy we had about scheduling a session and now I see why. This place offers outstanding service and their tutors are just fantastic.  Do your research. Make sure you find a tutor that can commit. Call this place first :)

He tutors for BUAD courses (280, 281, 306, 310, 311, etc.) and offers private tutoring as well as weekly group tutoring. I've done both, and as a senior at USC, I can definitely say that you should sign up for his semester-long courses. It forces you to keep up with the material and the semester price also includes midterm and final review sessions. His rates get more expensive closer to finals time because everyone and their mothers suddenly decide to step it up (I've been a victim of this too..), so seriously do yourself a favor and just start with him from the beginning! Yes, Marshall does hire some students to tutor in Bridge Hall for free but it's pretty useless because they only go over homework rather than concepts. Anyways, parking is readily available right out front or in the back of the complex and is not too far from campus. Easy peasy!

Drastically improved my skills - worth every penny! Last month I took the Adobe Premiere Pro Bootcamp with Kristian Gabriel - AMAZING CLASS! Highly recommend if you're doing any work in Premiere Pro - and Kristian even touches a little on Photoshop, After Effects & Illustrator too. The bootcamp definitely kicked my video editing skills up several notches! I wish I had taken the class much sooner haha! That being said, I'm glad I had already worked with Premiere Pro bc the bootcamp made a lot more sense. The software can be complicated, especially if you're just starting out, and the bootcamp moves fast...so it can be hard to keep up. BUT Training Connection gives you one free repeat!! You can come back and take the same class again once more - how awesome is that?? Kristian is an absolutely FANTASTIC teacher!! He's professional, passionate, extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind and caring - his expertise is impressive! He knows Adobe inside and out. I would happily take any of his classes again and definitely plan to take the After Effects and Illustrator classes in the future. The building is great also - the suite is sleek and always clean. They have high tech equipment in the classrooms - all their computers are fast Apples. Even the break room has a very fancy coffee machine offering all sorts of lattes and such. And all the rooms have lovely views of DTLA. Very nice facility. The prices for their classes are extremely reasonable considering the value of the lectures and the fact that they let you do one free retake. There are tons of eateries and cafes and food courts nearby so lunch is fun everyday! You can park in their underground lot but it's expensive at $35 a day. However, there's lots of security and it felt very safe, clean and convenient. I took the metro gold line the first two days and actually got urinated on by a vagrant the second morning - so I didn't hesitate to pay for parking after that lol. There's a cheaper lot around the corner but no security so be aware.
