The tutors are mostly recent college graduates who are adaptable with their teaching method to suit your child's educational needs. This is important to me because I've tried other places where tutors were much older and  weren't experienced with the new common core method. Communication is also very easy. They reply to msgs and emails very fast, and they always try their best to accommodate our schedule, which I really appreciate because kids' schedules can be a bit chaotic. Sometimes they offer schedule changes based on upcoming tests...they really go above and beyond! C2 is not based a program where your child is given a book and timed on how quickly they can answer the questions. Maggie the director, will tailor a study program specifically for your child. It can be in the specific subject matter, multiple subjects, or just general tutoring. With all of the after school events, appointments, and practices, your tutoring schedule can vary day by day and week by week. C2 also has extra materials to not only help your child to be proficient, but to help them be excellent. My kids have stated numerous times about how the C2 tutors have helped them understand the subject matter and wished their teachers at school could have explained it that way to help them understand. Maggie and her staff will get to know your child and match them with the appropriate tutor. She will also help with selecting courses for school, and later, with college selection that is most appropriate based on how well your child has done, and their personality. C2 also offers an extensive ACT/SAT test prep program and has helped my kids with their college applications. So, you will be offered a number of hours to purchase. I searched high and low (including online tutoring sites that let you choose your tutor) the outcome was fruitless.  Tutors who swore to have years of experience either were not as familiar with the material as they claimed or could not eloquently TEACH it. Also, the companies that charged ridiculous amounts like $150/hr did not show much for it. I know this because when trying Tutor Me LA, I also hired another tutor from a high-end tutoring company and Tutor Me LA's tutor was not only cheaper but MUCH MORE proficient.  We needed a few tutors - A gmat tutor, LSAT tutor, and a Math tutor. EVERY SINGLE tutor Tutor Me LA sent over was great. Their Guarantee took any hesitancy we had about scheduling a session and now I see why. Days and hours of availability are very flexible. The cost for tutor sessions are very reasonable. My son gets the proper one on one time he really needs to learn with his tutor. My son looks forward to tutoring being that they make the material very understandable for him. They also have group tutoring and are open on saturdays. It's a very neat and clean place with air conditioning. They offer so many more than just tutoring. Music and painting lessons are some of the other things they offer here. I am very happy and worry free that I found GA tutoring!
