OK, so I have no illusions about buying a used car from a dealer- I already know the price will be jacked up from KBB/edmunds/NADA. I know they'll resist bargaining down; i know they'll give me the routine about "we barely make any money off of used cars so we can't lower the price", blah blah blah. I was not looking forward to playing this game. As I expected, all of the above happened, but other things also happened that made the experience even less fun. Communication was kind of awful. My first point of contact was with a "customer service rep" who's different than the salesman. He made follow-up calls to me later in the process, but didn't seem to know what was going on with the car, though he helped me track down info from other employees when I couldn't reach them on their direct lines. The first time I went to look at the car, it wasn't even on the lot even though I'd been told it was. We had to wait for someone to go get the car from another location and bring it back. The car was different than how it was described on the website- it was automatic, not manual; leather seats, not cloth interior. The salesman initially told us we could put a deposit on the car (preventing others from buying it); later, he came back and said they would not take a deposit on the car after all. No apologies for any of these errors. I ended up buying the car because of the price, even though the shopping experience was awful. After I paid for the car, I left it with them because it needed a couple fixes. When I called on the day it was supposed to be ready, I was told that the repair guy hadn't had time to fix it that week. No one had contacted me to tell me this. Later I was told the repair guy was on vacation and/or needed to order the "part", which was "double-sided tape"- I kid you not. There was more back + forth. The car was not ready to be picked up until after a week after I paid for it. It *even* had a half tank of gas in it. Woo hoo. Now, a month later, the part that had been "fixed" is coming loose again; so much for double sided tape. read more

Recently my wife bought a use minivan from Bob Turner. Talk about a lemon. One month after the transmission is going out. The passenger side window broke ($ 750.00 dollars). They told us that it needs new shocks. It needs an alignment. The tires are all bad. All this happened after one month. She told them the problems and they didn't care. I would never buy a car from them again!!!!!!!!! read more

Oh man... I don't know where to start with this review. This has been the worst service I have ever received from a dealership. I am disappointed and disgusted with how I was treated. I will never be back. I am taking my new vehicle to another Ford dealership. The sales team is nice but when it comes to the service side of this place, forget it! They won't honor their own warranty and then try to nickel and dime you. It took 3 phone calls and 2 visits for them to even think about helping me. I had a valve knocked loose which caused the check engine light to come on. So instead of tightening the valve for me they wanted to charge me $80 for a diagnostic, $100 plus for labor and try to run tests on my radiator, water pump and engine. Well if they paid attention to the code that came up when they plugged it in, they would have known they didn't need to do all that but just tighten the valve (which was covered under warranty). I pointed out that they need to honor my warranty and 2 different service writers argued with me about it. So long story short I left with my vehicle not being fixed and went to Rich Ford who honored my warranty and tightened the valve that got knocked loose during an oil change 2 days prior. I would say don't waste your time or money here. Pick any other Ford dealership for your service as they will only attempt to take your money and not honor the warranties that come on new vehicles. I only give this place 1 star because the sales staff was polite. read more

Power Ford - Inside the service bay. - Car Dealers Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Great selection of vehicles, poor selection of salesman and managers. Spent 60k on a truck, took 3 hours to get it washed and gassed up in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. Mind you, that's 3 hours from the time I sat down in finance! Went through a total hassle getting a replacement temp tag, seems like everybody is incompetent in this place. I'll buy my next toy somewhere else. read more

As anyone who reads my reviews knows, I am a car guy and use many different dealerships for various services, parts, accessories, as well as new and used vehicles... You could say i have a car problem! Anyways, my old friend Darin Wade from Rich Ford is now the Dealer Principal and General Manager of the new Power Ford. This location was previously DBA Bob Turner's Ford Country and was known for the motto "No Bull". Because I lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 5 years I had done business with the previous management team. Going into this dealership and using their service department under the new Power Ford leadership team was a great experience. The new owners took over on November 1, 2012 so everybody is on their best behavior and I felt like their level of service and catering to my needs was almost a little over the top. I was greeted uber promptly in the service drive and the service adviser asked me all the requisite questions, then quickly brought up my 2002 Ford Expedition on his workstation... I was impressed that he could see my previous service and maintenance records from San Tan Ford and Five Star Ford in Arizona. Nice system... While waiting for my service, I decided to go check out some of the new 2013 Fords. I ended up in a conversation with Joe Watts, one of the sales managers and he was friendly, helpful, knew what he was talking about and all that before he found out the new owner is a friend of mine. Before I could escape with my Expedition properly serviced, washed at no extra charge and a nice new service reminder cling decal in the windshield, Darin Wade found out I was there and took me to lunch with a couple of friend. Lunch was great, but that will be another review! All in all, I have to say that the people in Albuquerque would be hard pressed to find a better Ford dealer to do business with than Power Ford. And, if you do go there, be sure to say hello to Joe Watts, John Fachko or Darin Wade (owner). These people are salt of the earth lifelong NM residents and their competence and friendly demeanor is refreshing compared to far too many other dealerships. read more

Worthless as a repair facility and great at questionable sales practices. Stay away from this one unless you want your car in the shop for 3 days for a regular battery or like to settle on your car purchase (for the higher priced model of course) read more

This review is for the service team at the Bridge Blvd location. Both Christian and Steve were exceptionally nice, professional and upstanding. We were in town from Colorado when the oil pressure low light came on in our Flex. We were planning on driving back to Denver the next day. On a busy Saturday, they got us in quickly and diagnosed the issue right away. Then, Steve takes about 15 mins to explain exactly what's going on to my wife and I. Taking the time to point out specific parts on the engine, how they work and what we needed to watch for. They let us know that the car was safe for returning to Denver but should take it to the dealer ASAP once we got back. They proceeded to top off all our fluids and send us on our way WITHOUT CHARGING US A CENT!! Thank you, Christian and Steve. We really appreciated your going above and beyond to help us. read more

We are traveling across the country and had a broken air conditioning system. We could not fix it before our trip because we didn't have time but this location was the only one in Albuquerque that had the part we needed and was willing to help us last minute. Shauntill in particular went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us with getting things done correctly and on time so we can continue on our trip. We are grateful for this help. read more

I stopped in here when I caught a curb in my rental car. I needed a safe place to pull over and call roadside assistance and a car dealership/repair shop seemed like a good choice. Dan called the rental roadside assistance and put spare on. He even went above and beyond by calling ABQ Sunport to verify that I could pick up a new rental as recommended by roadside assistance. Helpful, kind people. Thanks, Dan! read more

We bought a cmax from Power Ford. The salesman was very knowledgeable about our new purchase. He spent the time to train us on our sync system and go over all the features our car had to offer. Want to share and experience in customer service. I had a re-call on my Mustang for the airbags. Made an appointment with Power Ford yesterday for 7 am even though I have had horrible experiences with them in the past. But, it's a 25 minute walk from there to the hospital. Showed up 6:52. Door locked, 3 guys sitting in there on their computers, laughing, having a good time. Ignored me. I stood outside 5 minutes watching them, walked back to my car and went on to work. Of course they ran to open the door when they saw me getting into my car. So, I call Don Chalmers in Rio Rancho. Was told by a coworker that they give out loaners. I called them. They CAME TO MY HOUSE, downtown Albuquerque, 14 miles each way. Picked up my car, took it back to Rio Rancho, repaired it and brought it back to me this afternoon. Taking care of their customers so they wouldn't have to go to the dealership because of Covid -19. THAT is outstanding customer service. read more

What a great place have your car serviced, buy parts or purchase a vehicle! The people there are top notch!!!

My buying experience was great. I didn't find a car I liked, so I special ordered one. It came in 3 weeks early, I was elated. My salesperson, Danice, worked hard to get me all the discounts and rebates she could. She called me often to update me on the car before it was there, when it got there, and then to see how I liked it afterward. My only gripe was the finance guy, who treated me like I was a dumb girl who didn't know anything about repair cost, insurance, how an engine worked, etc. I found that demeaning. I am 23 and know my way around a car pretty well, so I knew he was playing to what he thought was ignorance. He even said multiple times, "do you want to call and ask your parents and get back to me?" I complained about him to Ford and to the dealer. Danice called me and told me he was fired shortly after for behaving like that. That was really gratifying to know that they took my experience so seriously and didn't approve of his tactics. I had to take my new car in to be checked if it was in a recall about 3 months later. The service center guys were very quick and friendly. They offered me a ride to and from where ever I needed to go. When I got my oil changed at Quick Lane, I was in and out fast, and got to watch everything through huge glass windows. When I wanted accessories, they gave me a 10% discount just because. There was an error and the accessory I ordered got shipped to another dealer, delaying my pick up for another day. They gave me another 10% off for that. They were good about calling and following up. When the salesperson I'd bought the car from found out I'd been in for service, she called me to make sure that I had a great experience and encouraged me to drop in and visit her. Its such a friendly place and they really care about their customers. My family has been Bob Turner customers since the late 80's and thats where we buy all our vehicles now for the great service and the good deals. read more

My sales person was "J". She is amazing. Kept me updated and was helpful during the entire process. The business manager I worked with was Jawad. These two make an excellent team! They did everything in their power to give me the best deal possible. Just be warned if you find a vehicle in their website that says it's not ready for sale, don't expect it right away. I waited a week for delivery which made me anxious, but they made sure the vehicle was safe and looked brand new for my family and I. Overall this was the best experience I've ever had buying a car. Even better than carmax which is where I normally go. Go see "J" today! read more

Dishonest service practices.... Proceed at your own risk. Called and asked them how much to perform coolant flush on 2017 F250 power stroke. Was quoted 250 which is an incredible price so made an appt. Took truck in for service and the checked me in and asked again about the price. Once again they said $250. Left dealership and expected it to happen. Get a call 5 min later saying computer is wrong and price will be more around $400 because computer says 3hrs labor to do. I asked them to honor what was agreed too and they refused. Tell them to pull my truck back out and I'll pick it up. When I get there they continue to apologize about the mistake and try and give me a card for 10% off next service. Lol, like 10% off covers the fact that you just raised the price 50%. It's one thing to be up front with your pricing but another to quote a low ball price and then refuse to honor it. Very deceptive and dishonest. Use them if your desperate or have no other options. read more

Quick and efficient Quick lane. They do a good job. Jiffy Lube stripped the oil nuts on two cars I owned. I go with a dealer.

Let me say I have never owned a ford. However my friends own a Flex and love it. I decided to go look at one though I am probably a year away from purchasing a vehicle. I was greeted by a manager- James Flowers. I explained right off I wasn't buying a car and didn't want to be pressured. I was shocked when he simply smiled and said that's perfectly fine, we believe in Ford and want you to when you purchase. He then went out of his way to assure me that I could drive cars, ask questions, and get any information I needed without any pressure. He offered to have a sales person test drive me in any flex or even every flex on the lot lol. It was an enjoyable experience, which I've never said about a car dealership. I may not buy a flex but I left there knowing that these people believe in what they sale and how the sale it. Kudos to power ford. Ps. I loooooved the Flex. It's at the top of my list! read more

Well this is a little late.. like my car getting out of the shop. 20 days later they had my car ready. They say they "put the customer first" on their commercial . I barely got a rental the second week, because they ASSUMED, "I had an extra car?" When we got back from vacay it was suppose to be ready and nope. So I went that weekend finding rides for work. Because it was suppose to be done that weekend if not Monday. Nope. So I asked about a car and that's when he told me that he thought I had one. So NO, I don't have a random car. Its sad to think my boyfriend did his research to pick this place biased on reviews, so that's why I'm writing our terrible experience. They continuously lied about having the part in and it would be done. Day after day we had a new expected date of completion and 20 days later it was done. Thomas said he would "call me back" multiple times, when sometimes he would call but then when it was actually important he wouldn't! I had to call and get ahold of him to follow through. He blamed it on his technician and that he literally said "they don't follow though and check throughly for the parts" good to know we are in great hands. Not. He said they lied to him about having the part in that's why he lied to me. Let me say.. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND, NOR TAKE MY CAR BACK THERE. This whole time I NEVER heard from the manager even though they knew my frustration. I'm a very easy going person when there is communication and honesty but this company lacks that! Choose wisely! Over $2,000 later no joke. It still shakes going over 60 mph. And they didn't offer anything to make this experience better, not even offer to wash the car . Moral of the story... they want your money. The parts were 830 and the labor was the rest!! read more

Bo was an amazing salesman. Listened to our needs and wants, made the whole deal stress free. He also helped make the process as quick as possible. We had to take the car in for a check up. We were disappointed because it took an entire extra day to look and fix the alignment. Plus they could not find my car in their computer system even though I saw it in the garage. But they were apologetic and made sure my car was first to be looked at the next day. That was a positive move and satisfied me as a customer. Overall Power Ford was a great place to purchase my new to me car! read more

Power Ford (Service) used to be my go-to, I sent family, friends and even complete strangers to them because they used to take care of me, and made me feel valued. Some time between my last service and the most recent one, the atmosphere changed and they didn't seem to appreciate my buisness. A paperwork screw up cost me $600 out of pocket on a rental car and they refused to even show the slightest bit of compassion or help to remedy the situation. Ontop of that, they damaged my car structurally and no one would own up to it. It's so bad, I had to get Ford Motor Company involved and now I'm starting the legal process against them.. all I can say is don't get your hopes up, I made them a ton of money with my problematic car, I was always kind, and understanding when repairs too longer than anticipated... yet they still want to treat me like dirt. Don't get too comfortable! read more

Our product specialist was great. Jason Booth truly cares and gave 100% effort. Great vehicle and nice experience.

Really bad service department. This is the second time to Power Ford for oil change and other fixes. First time for an oil change and to diagnose a noise. Dropped the truck off at 8:30 in the morning. I ended up calling them at 4:30 to find out nothing had been done (not even the oil change) and that I would need to leave the truck. This time I took it in for an oil change and 30,000 mile maintenance. Got the new oil in and half the old oil all over the engine bay. I'm not kidding. It was a mess. I keep my truck very clean and this was horrible. Also noticed when they flushed my power steering they did not reattach the cooler properly. It was just hanging from the hoses and not snapped back into its brackets. I had a lot of appointment to get to and no time to go back to the dealer to talk about it. The next day I get a call asking if I was happy with my service. The lady I spoke with was very nice. I said no and explained my issues. She called me back and said the manager offered me a free oil change. Nothing about bring your truck back so we can clean it up. I will not be going back even for a free oil change. read more

This was my first time buying a new vehicle and going into the dealership I was worried about being over pressured and the salesman being overly aggressive. That was not the case at all with Tony Hill. Tony was very knowledgable, helpful and honest. When I went in I was expecting to begin my search for a truck with the intention of purchasing in about 3 months. Tony's excellent customer service made me comfortable enough to purchase a new F250 Diesel the very next day. The next day we were shuttled back to the dealer and happily given our keys ( hurrah it was covered by the warranty!) we were so impressed with everyone we came in contact with We had called another dealer that was closer to our rv park first, and were told we would have to wait 4 days before bringing it in. On Friday, July 5, I was driving my daughter's car when I stopped to get gas. I left the car to pump the gas, and when the car's door closed, it automatically locked! I was stuck at a gas station with my cellphone and wallet inside the car! I called my daughter, and was told that she had no spare key ... so I waited in the sun for the locksmith to arrive. When he opened the door, I immediately drove to Power Ford to have another key made for her Ford Focus. As I walked in the Service Door, the Parts Department guys were just turning off the lights -- they were done for the day, and it was a "holiday weekend." I said, "Please, any chance you can give me a duplicate key?" The parts guys never hesitated. They took my key, looked it up on their computer and patiently told me to see another Power Ford guy, who could make the key and "program it." I found that guy immediately, and he, like the parts guys, just wanted to say "Yes" to me, even though it was near close-of-business on a Friday! I told him I needed to pick my daughter up from her work at 6, and he had the work done and the car brought around for me earlier than he had said it would be available. Through all of this, ALL the people at Power Ford, including the Cashiers, were friendly, smiling, and sincerely wanting to help. (A small thing, but when I walked in to the Cashiers area, the young lady walked TOWARD ME, instead of waiting for me to come to her!) I am so impressed that this type of caring service exists anywhere in today's world! read more
