Bought a new truck from them, in the first month it sat in the shop for 6 days to have a few minor things fixed on it, and the only way to get then to work on the truck was to drive down to their shop and be there. It took them one full day to fix a leak in the windshield which only got attention when I went down there. There service people do not return your calls and are rude. I will not do business with these people again. read more

Took my brand new truck in for an oil change and in the process the service crew damaged the front and rear passenger side doors by side swiping with another vehicle. The service manager downplayed the incident as "minor" damage. Aside from the external body damage to the doors, the seams of the doors are now misaligned, the surfaces of the doors protrude out enough cause audible turbulence inside the cabin while driving. Beware of having service performed by Power Ford Service, the care of your vehicle will be minimal and if damages are done to the vehicle, it will be downplayed as insignificant and minor by the management. read more

It's hard for me to get use to the new name Power Ford; nevertheless, I keep on coming back. My sales representative was Loretta Day whom I have been going to for years now. I have had three special orders now. She is very tentative and takes the time to research your vehicle. If she doesn't have an answer for you, she will reach out to her coworkers to get an answer. This last vehicle ordered was requiring extra aftermarket work; without hesitation, Loretta provided me a loaner to assist me in my daily routines without any interruptions. This action was very thoughtful and of course, very helpful. I would rate this dealership five stars but as you know, any dealership will have its downfalls when it comes to dealing. read more

This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had!! Ricky Montoya and the team at Power Ford exceed all expectations from the time we walked through the door till the time we drove off in our new truck. Ricky was very transparent with us and very enjoyable to work with. Not once did we feel that Ricky was trying to take advantage of us. Not your typical salesman and not your typical dealership. We would definitely be back in the future. Power Ford raised the standard for car buying! read more

Yeah...so let me tell you a little about Power Ford. It has been the most awful experience I've ever had with purchasing a vehicle. I should have known from the moment I walked into the dealership that I should have gone somewhere else. So my wife and I are expecting our first child, and I needed a bigger vehicle because my Tacoma extended cab wasn't going to do. I wanted a bigger truck. I found a really nice Nissan Titan on their used car site. I go to check it out, it's still in the garage being looked over and fixed up. I talk to the sales guy, and he says let's do some numbers. Okay, we do some numbers. After he realized I wasn't going to pay $500 a month for a payment, all of a sudden that truck was no longer available and someone else had already offered $9k towards it. Hmm... He talks to his manager to see what kinds of trucks are available within my price range. He shows us a few, but only one really is within the range we needed to be in. Then he comes back and says something about $480 a month...no. My wife and I stuck to our guns and walked out that night because they wouldn't come down low enough. Next morning I get a call to come back in to see if they can work something out. Sure, why not? I get there and the salesman tries to put me in an SUV or a 4x2 truck, after I was already extrememly firm about wanting/needing a 4 door 4x4 truck. He finally gives up and talks to the manager, comes back with an offer of $380 a month for the truck shown to us the previous night. We say no, because we had a specific price range. Finally he talks to his manager and says that they can do $360, so we finally say yes. We get the paperwork done, and he shakes our hands and we go to leave....salesman never gave us the keys to the truck. After I go back inside to get the keys, my wife notices a bunch of cracks and pops in the windshield we didn't see the previous night because it was dark, also the passenger side window switch is messed up. We go back inside and get the salesman and the manager, they say no problem, we'll fix it. I had to take the truck back later that week and get the windshield replaced, but the window switch would have to be ordered. Yay. Another week goes by and I get a call from the finance department, after being told I was getting a specific interest rate and my monthly payments would be $XXX, they said they couldn't actually do that and I would have to finfnace the truck through my own bank or I'd have to return it and get my Tacoma back. WTF? Really? So they lied to me to my face about my payments and interest rate and the bank that was going to finance me. After getting all that sorted out I was out of town for a total of about 4 weeks since mid Dec. It is now Jan 30th, and I had to take the truck in to the service department this morning because there is a loud knocking noise coming from under the hood. I have had this truck for just under 2 months, havent even drove it more than 900 miles, and it is already starting to mess up on me. As it sets now, we were told that the warranty hadn't been put in the computer yet to see if whatever is wrong with it will be covered. 2 months and the warranty information hasn't made it into the system. And now my wife gives me an update saying that it is possibly something they missed during their initial "bumper to bumper" inspection when they received the truck and the approximate cost is somehwere around $2800. I'm less than pleased to put it nicely. We haven't had anything but problems with Power Ford since day one. I suggest going somewhere else. read more

My experience was the greatest. Ricky got me the car I wanted and the process was easy and fast. All the staff was fabulous and pleasant. I will highly recommend power Ford and Ricky Montoya to anyone that's looking for great service and stress free buying. read more

The sales people were very helpful and knowledgeable about features of the car and absolutely no pressure. There was pressure from the other people to buy add-ons that wasn't as pleasant. The financial person completely disregarded my wishes as to the financing and which bank I wanted to use. That is what skewed the whole car buying process at Power's Ford. If you are going to finance the purchase then make sure the correct institution is used otherwise you will end up surprised as I was. read more

If I can give Power Ford no stars, I would. The truck we have has been taken into the shop for service three times within the three months we "owned" the truck. It has been in the shop for a total of 23 days. Service department is horrible on keeping us updated, our truck is at another dealership and no one has told us what dealership. Now, Power Ford says "we will put you in another vehicle", nothing has happened. They are still taking advantage of us and giving us empty promises. I am tired of "we will help you", words that are well documented on our part. read more

Service Department is honest, helpful, and accommodating. Great experience.

If I could lower the one star to half star I would. My advice to anyone who stops by this dealership for Service, make sure the advisor type/writes down everything you ask them to look into. Because I found out the hard way that if they don't type/write in what you want looked at, they will deny it was ever mentioned. Second, find a different dealership for service. I recently taken in my truck for a seal replacement (cost around a couple of hundred dollars) but a week later it started making noise. A couple weeks later, the noise grew and I took in the truck to have it looked at along with an some additional work. Truck was returned and the noise was still there (there is another story to this visit which Power Ford covered all the work and cost due to their lack of communication). I decided to take it to another Ford dealership and they discovered the some over tightened bolts, compressed seals that eventually led to major problems with the differential. The aftermath, I'm stuck with a bill that is a couple of thousands of dollars. With all fairness, I did approve the work without discussing with the Power Ford because why would anyone with a least bit of common sense request a tech from Power Ford to review their own work when they were the ones who didn't do their job in the first place? Baffling right?. I've spoke with both companies about negotiations and covering all or part of the cost but in the end, I'm stuck with the bill due to their lack Ford standard expertise work. I would understand if I took it a shop that don't specialize in Ford's but this is Ford who have "experts" who primarily work with Fords. Then again, I did have some grinding noise and the Ford techs couldn't identify the problem yet a random tech at Brake Masters asked me to stop by and without taking anything apart he knew exactly what the problem was and the diagnostic was free of charge. Maybe I should've taken that moment as a warning sign that not all Ford techs are really Ford techs. I'm almost done here, I would advise disappointed customers to contact their local Better Business Bureau and call the head quarters of Ford. Make your voice be heard and let Ford know Power Ford is not keeping up the Ford standard. I grew up around Ford's since the beginning of the 80's and this is the first time that I am considering leaving the Ford family because this is a total nightmare and not a great way to spend money before the holidays, especially when you are hosting Thanksgiving and flying across the country to visit family for Christmas. The first Ford I grew up in and drove was a '78 Ford F-150 Ranger and the last one I'm going to drive is a '03 Ford F-150 Supercrew. I always wanted a Raptor but I have to let that go. read more

I would recommend these guys! They were absolutely great! We had bad experiences in the past with dealerships and I was a little nervous about going here. We looked at a couple of trucks and found one that my husband really liked, we found out what the APR and what we would be looking at as far as payments went. Stephanie was great she let us look, didn't push us into anything that we didn't want to look at and she was super friendly! We bought the truck within 48 hrs and my husband loves it! I will definitely be back! read more

Been shopping at this dealership for the last six months. Just got a fantastic deal on a Focus ST. Ralph went the extra mile as a salesman to make my buying experience enjoyable. Hang on to your hats!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I used to be the one that stereotyped "dealer" as one not to trust. - Got forced into a situation where I had to take it to "the dealer". - Experienced a knowlageable and friendly staff. First I met Terry Wayland service manager. This guy was in the middle of something and dropped what he was doing to listen to my engine and test drive it then gave me recommendations to either buy a new vehicle or get a new engine. Now I'm getting a new engine (rebuilt) and am introduced to Ben Gilespie. This guy understood my situation and not only gave me a great deal but was patient and answered every stupid question I had and treated me as if the problems were his. I felt comfortable. My new engine was installed by the great Gatlin Green (awesome mechanic) without any complications and even had decisions made that were in my best interest. Who does that now a days? I had trouble with the A/C blower after, but these guys said bring it in, no problems. I love these guys! - Now I'm a changed man. Now I will take it to the Dealer, with respect. read more

Ford has great products. I love my new Mustang. I totally hate the guy in the business office. After the deal was done and I needed more help a few days later, he was rude and drug his feet trying to accomplish what needed to be done. He had his money, that was all he wanted. There is no service with a smile here and very little help. My situation has still not been resolved and it's been three weeks. I think it's time to get a younger man in the business office. Gary is too cranky and slow to get the job done in a timely manner. read more

I made an appointment 2 days in advance and dropped my truck off by 7:30 AM as instructed. At that time I was told that someone would call me by 11 AM with an estimate. At 12:45 PM I called the service manager because I had not received the promised call. I was told that my truck had not even been looked at, and that it would be another hour before they had it up to look at it. I called back after this conversation and spoke to the person who had told me I would be called by 11 AM and was then told that it is just like a doctor's office, and my truck would be seen in the next hour or so (this was to be over 6 hours after dropping it off for my appointment.) I called around and arranged for another repair service to pick up my truck to manage the issue for me. This was not a doctor's appointment - even though the fees may be comparable - and if it were, I would find another doctor. I was not a "walk in" - I had made the appointment 2 days prior, and when I booked my appointment I left it in the scheduler's hands to make the appointment for when they would have time to see me/they had the power at that time to make it further out if needed. In my opinion this is no way to manage an appointment system to provide for a good customer service experience. read more

Never again! Brought my 2013 F-150 in for an "idiot light" problem related to the turbo. Problem was never performance based...indication only. Had it in there four times because they couldn't figure it out. During the second visit they scratched my door. When I brought it to the attention of the manager he refused to take responsibility because he said it was made by a seat belt that was pulled outside the vehicle to scratch the rear door. Their tech had taken the vehicle out after the previous "repair" for a nice long test drive...did he not wear the seat belt? Then after visit number four, I entered my vehicle to find my vehicle cell phone charger hanging from the 12VDC plug in the dash. I think I had used it once previously and know it was jammed in the lower storage area below the front center seat...the tech had to go searching through my personal stuff to pull it out. And, they took the vehicle for a 370 mile test drive...my gas (all total over 400 miles four all four visits). The truck looked like it been out four-wheeling...it was dirty and muddy. Brought all of this to the attention of management...deer in the headlights look from the manager and staff as to how all of this happened. Said goodbye to these buffoons. Light came back on within 2 days. Brought the truck into a different Ford dealer who fixed it right the first time...it has been 4+ months since their repair and the light has not returned. read more

I've only had my Explorer less than 2 years. The driver side door cover came unglued with the heat, my reverse lights are out already and my passenger window has been loose since I purchased the vehicle (Salesman said there was nothing wrong with window). I have never ever had a vehicle fall apart so quickly. My son took it for the last oil change where they told him that my reverse lights were out, I asked if they could replace them, I hadn't had this very long and that's odd to go out so quickly. They could, for a charge, Ughhhh no thank you, junk. I have an appointment set up so I can personally ask them to look over everything, but this by far is the saddest thing I have ever had happen with a vehicle. Wonder what it will look like in 5 years. I'm not feeling good about Ford lately. Hope this appointment will bring me to a better review. read more

Was not intending to buy a car but when I showed up at one of the tent sale events on the fair grounds, I just fell in LOVE with a truck I saw there. Power ford was the company who was selling the truck. First off we ALL know dealing with salesmen is a pain in the rear, but to add to it I had my kids with me. Of course they tried to steer me away from dealing with my own Credit Union because they tried low balling me for a trade in and plus a HIGH down payment just to make their money! I understand they have to feed their families and make money too but I'm not an idiot! Well when we returned after talking to our credit union, and were approved, the finance manager or assistant manager was very rude and unhappy! Wouldn't budge (of course) and almost lost a sale on a truck until we actually spoke to a SALES manager who worked with us (kinda)! But you would think if someone buys $40+ thousand dollars on a vehicle they could at the least throw in a car wash and fill up, but no! And then to begin with, the cover over the bed was leaking and the sliding rear window wasn't opening. You would think they would fix this BEFORE they would try and sell it! Especially after how much someone pays for the truck!! So we took it BACK in (who really loves going back and forth?) to fix both issues and first the window opens but now makes this HORRIBLE screeching noise (What they don't check their work before sending it home?) and second, the cover on the bed WOULDNT open and noticed a new scratch on the truck which they acknowledged.then we relieved a follow up call from the lady in customer service relations to check up on the service. She then attempted to make it seem like it was our fault the window wasn't checked and when we took it back a second time no one wanted to deal with us and they didn't even fix the window just the cover over the bed!!! Not happy with sales or service so we sent my step daughter to Rich Ford to buy her NEW car and she got a free wash and fill up (the car was worth less than half our truck was)!' We get 2 free future oil changes with power ford...They can KEEP THEM!!! I don't want any more scratches on my truck. read more

I purchased my 2013 Ford Escape from Power Ford a year ago. At that time I was told I could receive up to 2 oil changes that would be included in the warranty of my vehicle purchase. Last week I scheduled my last included oil change for this past Saturday, September 2nd. When I drove into the service department, at no time did anyone greet me to say "hello" "how may I help you" nothing. I was a little disturbed by that as there was no activity and 2 men were standing at the computer desk inside the bay. I brushed it off and proceeded to get out of my vehicle and approach the 2 men. One man walked away and the other continued to ignore me. After a couple minutes went by, the man finally told me he'd be with me in a just a moment. Another couple of minutes went by and the other man came back and the original man asked him to go ahead and help me. The man reluctantly asked me what I needed help with and I told him I was there for an appointment to have my oil changed. The man proceeded to look up the appointment and found it. He asked me what the mileage was on my vehicle, which I did not know and informed him so. He then asked me several other questions and I answered them. He asked me if I knew if my mileage was under 74,000 miles and I said I was not sure. At no time did he request to obtain my keys and check the mileage himself. He asked me if I had purchased a warranty service plan and I informed him of my free oil change under my purchase agreement. He looked it up and told me I made it in just in time as it was about to expire. I told him I was aware. He again asked me about the mileage on my vehicle and I again told him I was not sure. He then stated, "Your not goign to make this easy on me are you?!" Which I found rude. I tthen told him he was free to check my vehicle if he would like. He obtained my keys and proceeded to check the mileage on my vehicle. He then told me that unfortunately the mileage of my vehicle was over 76,000 miles and therefore over the allowed 74,000 miles for the warranty and therefore they would have to charge me for the oil change. "Normally I would make an exception, but since your over the 74,000 miles, I'd have to charge you." I said no thank you and I left. I am so angry and disappointed in Power Ford. At no point in time, did anyone tell me that I needed to be under 74,000 miles including when I made the appointment and asked the scheduler to check if I still was eligible for my included oil change. I bought my vehicle at Power Ford a year ago and so did my mother on the very same day. We gave Power Ford another chance after a bad experience there when it was previously Bob Turner Ford. Thinking the business was under new ownership and had been several years, we would give them another chance. I am severely disappointed that I received this treatment and was allowed to leave and take my business elsewhere. I will think twice before buying from Power Ford again and I will also never recommend them to anyone. read more

I do not want to deal with these people ever again. I had to drive 7 hours, to get to the dealership. I had set up a appointment to see one truck and I had sent them all the information on my trade in 2015 Ford Explorer, I had bought new in Arizona. They had numerous days to get this truck ready to go. I took a 30 minute test drive. The truck was dirty, no gas and a nail in the tire. I told the salesman Carl, I want this deal closed quickly because I had a 7 hour drive back home. On my end, I agreed on the price of the truck and my trade in 30 minutes. I waited an additional 4 hours to sign papers. Horrible customer service. I was talking to the finance manager about the Ford ESP extended warranty. The finance manager explained to me and sold me a extended warranty and maintenance program. The finance manager told me what the warranty and maintenance program covers but at the end you get NO paper work to back his story. You get nothing that explains the coverage and there is NO web site on this company. Extended warranty and maintenance program was called the Ethos Group. THIS IS JUNK. All that time I thought I was getting the Ford ESP program. I emailed the finance manager in 2 days after reviewing all my paper work about cancelling the extended warranty and maintenance program. I also sent a certified letter to the finance manager and salesman about the cancellation. I received a phone call from the finance manager on December 19. This is the worst customer service because they do not want to refund your money. I received a cancellation request form (that I need to fill out) via email and to my surprise I do not get a full refund. They send the refund to the lienholder. This does not make sense to send the refund to the lienholder. To top it off, I had a flat on the front passenger tire after 3 day. The same front tire and the same spot where I showed the salesman the nail while at Power Ford. They never took the nail out and they never repaired the tire. Thank goodness I did not have a horrible blow out on the highway. read more

I would not go back to Power Ford after buying a Ford Mustang there a month ago ! I bought a 2012 mustang and when it was ready for me to pick up the detail was not done very well,my had mustang had no floor mats at all!! I would think after spending $20,000 plus I would get some floor mats!! Also wasn't happy that the sales person I was working with kept me in the dark as far as the final numbers , I didn't find those figures out until I was sitting in front of the finance guy and he has his pen ready for me to sign!!! Sales person should have told me my APR,monthly payment, trade in amount....giving more details before I am in front of pushy finance department!! Not cool!! Sales person finally called me and told me he could "possibly" get me some floor mats in about 2 weeks!!!! He told me not guarantee they would be the right color for my mustang I just bought from them... I told no thank you!!! Not a good overall experience !! read more

I made an appointment for 0700 on 12/23 because I had a small coolant leak I needed checked out and I had received a letter from Ford telling me that I needed to have the Sync system software updated. I brought it in at the appointment time and met with the service writer. The service writer at first couldn't find my appointment, but he took my information and began by telling me that the letter just told me the warranty was being extended. I had to point out to him that if he would actually read the whole letter it said the software needed to be updated too. I felt like he was blowing me off. He told me that the mechanic would take it into the shop and pressurize the coolant system and see what was leaking. He said he would call me at around 10:00 and tell me what the problem was. At 1:30 I had not heard anything so I called. I was told by the service writer that my truck had not been brought into the shop yet. He said they were just now getting ready to pull it in. I asked him about the appointment time and what he had told me earlier in the day. He told me that an appointment was only used by them to see what was going to be coming in the next day and had nothing to do with actually having my vehicle looked at. I called back and asked to speak to the service manager. The operator sent me to a phone number that went to a voice mail. I left a message and asked that he call me back. The service manager NEVER called me back. As it turned out the water pump that only had 78000 miles on it had failed. The service writer told me that my truck would be ready the next day but because it was Christmas Eve they would be closing at noon. On Christmas Eve I had heard nothing by 10:00 so I went to the dealership in hopes that this time the service writer was not blowing smoke up my ass again. But when I got there he told me the mechanic was having difficulty and he was not sure it would be finished before they closed for the holiday. He walked out to the shop to ask the mechanic about the status. I could see through the windows that there was no one in the shop at all. He came back and told me the mechanic would try his best but it was probably not going to happen. I finally got my truck back the morning of the 26th. The original service writer had taken the day off and another one had call me to tell me it was ready. The main problem with that was he kept call me on an old number you have for me in your computer. I specifically gave the original service writer my cell number but for some reason no one wants to call me on that number. The courtesy call made to me by the dealership after the service also called me at the wrong number. Not a happy camper and to top it off nothing was dome with the Sync system as I had requested. read more

had a great experience got the truck I needed with OUT pressure and in the terms that worked for me!!! thank you

Let me start off by saying that I was not planning on writing this review, but the lack of response from Power Ford's management lead me to respond here. I know this review is going to sound like I am extremely negative, but the majority of the services I received justify my negativity. I took my F-150 in to run a diagnostic so I "would know exactly what is wrong with my truck" and see what it would cost to fix. After they finished their $90 or so diagnostic, I knew exactly what I knew when I got my codes read at the Auto Zone and then looked up what they meant on the internet. So after a few days without my truck, they called and said they would need to run more tests, so I agreed to let them. When I finally received the final phone call letting me know that my truck was available to pick up I was told I owed 4x the $90 I had agreed to. Although they removed this fee after telling them that it was way more than we had agreed upon, they still charged me $30 in "shop fees" that they would not itemize for me. So over a week and a half after I took my truck in (and more than a few days after I was supposed to get it back), I paid the $120+ to get it back, only to find they had left the windows down and the entire interior of my truck was covered in dust and a bird relieved itself on my driver-side door panel. I emailed this and my complaints about how disrespectful the Rep I worked with was after I told him I would not be getting my truck fixed there to the service and parts director Terry Wayland, but received nothing in return. Had management let me know they were working to remedy the problems I would have been more understanding. read more

If I could give no stars that's exactly what I do!! Went in with my sister in law to take her car in for a recall. She decided she wanted to try and trade it in since she's had so many recalls on the car. The salesman Tony Hill was extremely rude and dismissive of her when he felt he couldn't help her. She asked him for some prices on some other trucks and refused to get her prices because he felt that he couldn't get her into any of the trucks. When my husband jumped in and asked him to please get her the prices, he told my husband first of all I was talking to her and not to you. We have never been treated so horribly at any other dealer. We asked to speak to a manager and the manager was just as rude. No help and defended the rude worker. If that's the best workers they have then I think they need to pay more attention to the bad customer service and actually start putting a stop to it and not justifying it. We ended up taking her car out of the service department and taking it don chalmers ford where we had a very pleasant experience with great customer service.. We will never go back and are definitely changing where we take our vehicles or where we buy a vehicle. read more

Power Ford in Albuquerque has many staff members who are rude and very unfriendly, especially in the service department. This has happened on many occasions, but last weeks visit was the worse. They always find a way of getting around warranty issues and charge for services in one way or another. We also purchased bumper to bumper coverage which they said covered almost everything, but to date it has covered nothing. The engine light on our vehicle went on. We took it in and they said we should leave the car there for 2 weeks if we want since they are too far behind to get to it before then. This was one week after we took it in for a regular checkup. What did they do? We are concerned about driving the car with the service light on, but they said it shouldn't hurt anything. If it does cause damage to the car are they responsible? Last year I took it in for a recall which had to do with the air bags in the car. They said they didn't have the part and it wasn't important unless we were having problems with it. How does one know if the air bag is defective until there is an accident? He said to take it back if we had a problem with it. My husband took it in this year and insisted the recall be taken care of which they did. We took the car to the Ford place in Rio Rancho for the current problem and they took care of everything immediately and they were very friendly and polite. We will not ever go back to Power Ford again. read more
