My car was really loud all of a sudden and I was so stressed thinking I was going to have to shell out $1K to fix whatever I was told was wrong with my car (which previously happened when I took my car to the dealer for something else). I wanted to make sure I could find a place that was *less* likely to rip me off. I was actually looked at the reviews for another muffler shop when I saw that someone said after getting a really high quote they ended up going to Value Plus and getting the same work done for half the price. I was sold. The place is really just a garage. I parked on the street and walked in and there was one guy working and he was currently welding something on a car. When he was done with that, he saw me and let me know it would be about 30 minutes and to just wait in my car. After 30ish minutes he waived me into the garage and looked at my car. He immediately found one part that needed to be replaced and something else that was broken that he could fix, and let me know it would be $60 to fix both!!! Could not have been more relieved. He finished working on my car in about 15 minutes and I was on my way.
