I tried several times to reach out to the owner but she never responded. I reached Alex the manager at Poway Pilates and she tried to help but said I would have to deal with the manager or owner over her. BEWARE you won't get your money back if they screw up.

Club Pilates RB was unable to extend the same service to my boyfriend. This club could have offered service recovery by providing me a refund or my boyfriend the same entry pricing. An error that occurred on behalf of Club Pilates, not us -the consumer. When I went to my first class by myself. There was an instructor on modified unable to physically demonstrate the class to new members and who was able to sit the entire time. This is a highly inconsiderate form of providing a Pilates class to members who have paid for in person instruction with expectation to receive proper form instruction. If I wanted voice instruction only I could have done a Pilates video class. I have reached out to Bailey General Manager and Club Pilates corporate without any attempt to resolve this issue. I am deeply saddened by this experience for there is a MV & Poway studio that provided us with amazing customer service. Not every Club Pilates studio is created equally clearly.

No two workouts were the same, which kept it very fun for me, but we always got a good core and leg workout. There are cubbies to store your stuff and the bathroom is lovely - super clean and lots of room to change. The ONLY thing I wish they'd change is the lighting - staring up at direct lights for 50-ish minutes is headache-inducing. Indirect lighting would be much more pleasant.

There is plenty of space, fresh air with giant fans, rollup doors and beautiful plants. It's at least 4 times the size. The vast lobby and the roomy classroom with the high-impact floors are touched with a tasteful decor. Sam, Kim, Shandi, Tammy, Ariana, and Jenn are very good and will kick your butt into shape! Jen and Stacy make you want to be up and going at 5:30am and that crowd is the sweetest! The studio itself is well maintained and a good size. It does feel a little crowded if it's more than 15 people, but they have so many times that it's not normally a problem. I had taken yoga briefly, mat pilates very briefly, and am a member of LA Fitness. I found the Pilates Passion website and thought what the heck, give them a call. I scheduled my first private session with JD- I was comfortable, not intimidated at all and worked up a little sweat- I was surprisingly sore the next day. JD showed me some really great tips on breathing which I try and do at work and in the car. I've taken sessions with the owner, Anne Marie, as well and she is such a positive guide and lets you know how to maximize the moves to get the full effect- the rear end kicks are killer! I am NOT a gym rat- I go when I have time, sometimes I'll go a few times a week, sometimes less, sometimes not at all... depending on my schedule and mood. I will continue with Pilates because it just feels like therapy for my body. I never dread a session which is a fantastic sign. Some other Pilates studios, especially in the Rancho Bernardo area, are very cold and intimidating but not this little studio. I don't stand for snooty-ness and this place is not like that at all. Give the first free session a shot and maybe you'll get hooked like me. If not, you didn't lose anything and can be proud of not knocking it til you've tried it.
