Aloha gang! Came in to renew my driver's license and update it to Real ID. Since I started the application process online, it streamlined my renewal experience. I arrived at the DMV about 45 minutes prior to opening.. At about 20 minutes before the doors opened an associate came out to make sure people were in the correct lines and to help with any questions. She also assisted Real ID applicants in having their paperwork ready for processing so that once we entered the building it would speed up the process. I appreciated how well organized this DMV office was and because of this, I was in and out of the office in 15 minutes.

Do not waste your time here. I had multiple pay stubs and I work a government job. I literally only…read moreneeded a $100 cash advance. I supplied my blank check, all of my banking information, including my account number and routing number for both my savings and checking accounts. I was able to pull up on my banking app to show that I have direct deposit and that my most recent paystub could be seen within the past 30 days. Again, I have never had a problem who's getting a payday advance. The lady was relatively cordial but she was very much by the book and so I gave her a star because I figured that she is just trying to do her job and not get fired. With that said, I would not recommend coming here. I have had the best experiences at * (1) "Advance America" in Poway * (2) Fast Auto Loans" in Escondido * (3)"Payday Money Centers" in Clairemont & Escondido The first two places will loan you $255 for $300 but (3) only lent me $100. I make approx $1600-1800 so keep that in mind. Lastly, I wanted to add that Clairemont has a ton of payday advance places so I would highly recommend using Yelp to check out your different options. BRING: ~ your most recent paystub from last than 30 days ago ~ your current bank balance (you can show on phone) ~ A blank check that has your name on it (Printed) ~ optional: your checking account number, as well as your routing number for your bank account If this is your first time getting a payday advance then I highly recommend that you write down the names of real references but do not write down the real phone number or even your EMPLOYER! Don't even think about writing down your supervisors name or your main office because if you do not pay your loan back in time then they will call anyone they can, and you run the risk of being super humiliated.

I saw a little sign in the window that said they do DMV registrations, so I pulled in to see what the deal was. This place is TINY, no public restroom, and no place to sit, but don't sweat because you will be in and out of here in a flash. The lady was all business, and she explained that this joint was CASH ONLY and there would be a $25 processing fee on top of the DMV fee. I handed over the cash and she pulled my shiny registration sticker out of the drawer and stapled it to my receipt and paperwork. Three minutes and $25 was well worth avoiding the DMV when you are in a time crunch. The next time I forget to mail in my paperwork on time, I'll be cruising over here.

I had my application, my photo, a check and my old passport. Dorothea was awesome and so was David. I had an appointment and I still had to wait about an hour to be seen because they didn't have enough staff. The place was clean and there's a lot of parking. My only gripe is that there's no public restroom. A place where people have to wait a long time, should have a public restroom. Sometimes you just got to Go! When I got there I had to use the restroom (nerves). I probably had that LOST look and I was asked if I was looking for the passport office. The two or three women who were there, we very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

I got selected to the second round of interviews and testing for the City Carrier Assistant…read moreposition. One of the first things they mention in the orientation is that the job position is part time, on call, and with zero guarantee of hours. No where in the job posting on Indeed.com was this mentioned (which Indeed definitely lets you designate). They wait until you schedule time off and you show up in person to let you know this fact. They said if you have a problem with this you should exit the interview now. We'll thanks for the heads up and loss of a day's wage to apply for a job that I would have skipped if I had known all the facts. Honestly I wish I could sue them if lawyers weren't so expensive. Another applicant followed after me and opted out of the application process too. The instructions for the orientation mention "do not bring children" to the interview. So that implies people might be having to get daycare to apply to this bogus job opening. This is beyond inconsiderate for people who have children and are already on limited budgets. Although this is not me, I sympathize with single parents applying for these jobs. Let's face it, if they told the truth nobody would apply to this job. This should have been described as "seasonal work with no guarantee of hours". If I lied or withheld facts on my job application, I would be disqualified (and rightfully so). Yet the same courtesy is not granted in return. USPS used to be a great organization. My grandfather worked for them and things were better back in his time. Nowadays, I can't tell the difference between them and Amazon on how they operate. Shame on you USPS.
