Everyone hates the dreaded DMV and it takes forever to get your tags in the mail. And you are not a AAA member there are limited options to get your tag renewal done quickly and easily. This is located inside Ralph's Carmel Mountain.
Not anymore! These have been out for a while now but I never tried it out. I just went online to the DMV website and found the nearest kiosk. I took my registration renewal form with me and just scanned it at the machine. Boom my information was pulled up and paid for new tags. The machine prints out my registration and my 2021 tags are attached. Takes less than 5 mins!
Disclaimer I did find out until I was paying there is a 2% convenience charge using credit or debit. I would pay in cash to avoid this charge. Overall it was easy, quick and convenient way to renew my tags. I will be doing this from now on!
This is what you can do at the kiosk:

A registration card and sticker, PNO acknowledgement, or receipt is printed at the kiosk after the completion of your transaction. read more
