This mall doesn't have as many options as some other malls do but it has enough for you to buy what you need to buy.

Great mall, place is super clean and most of the business there have nice employees. Although some stores come and go, a good number of the stores gave been there for years. Parking lot is also spacious and there are a number of entrances. The mall security is also very competent and have helped me through some issues with no problem. read more

Great stores good food in the food court love love love this mall total upgrade from the malls i had in florida - dont get a massage though those 90lb soaking wet chinese women are brutal lol!!!! read more

The Galleria is your typical american mall. Teeming with teenage hormones, the smell of popcorn and mysterious cleaning products, it's not anything unusual. I like it better than the Kingston mall, if only because they happen to have stores I like better. But I'm rarely in this part of Dutchess County, and if I am I make it count. Meaning, I spend my entire day at the mall making me never want to come back again. Well, that may be a bit drastic; maybe just for six months. You get the idea. The stores change fairly often although the anchor stores like JCPenney's and Macy's have stuck around. Recently they've added a Sephora which is something I've been looking forward to having nearby. Other than my yearly Christmas shopping, I don't come here much. Gotta avoid the teenage angst! read more

Although I live a comfortable 45 minute drive from this mall (which makes the travel to it feel like too much), I occasionally visit this mall. It's got lots of stores. From the high-end Best Buy to the Target department store, it's all there. Take a look around. Prior to this mall, I had never seen a Nathans nor a Wendy's in a mall location. But they got them here. Yes, these locations are a bit pricier than their outside competitors, but I can live with that, if I'm only around once every six or so months. read more

Not a great place for families on the weekends unless you're going to the movies only.

This mall isn't very different from any other, as it has a variety of stores, food court and movie theater. This place is pretty friggin' clean, though, so that's a bonus. Target and Best Buy are also conveniently located here. There is plenty of parking available as well. read more

A solid mall, except I hate the constant kid parties that seem to be going on. I feel like at any given moment, Banana Republic is going to close here because the place is always empty. But hey, until they do, I like the open store! read more

I heard lots of people hate it here. It's actually not so bad at all. I wish they had a apple store and bookstores like high scale malls. Also their food cort is pretty good but I wish they would have more restaraunt a in this place but it's decent because there's tons of other restaurants along rt.9 the only restaurants the galleria has besides the food court restaurants is Ruby Tuesdays and The Melting Pot. I've grew up here for most of my life and seen some pretty good stores come and go. I do notice galleria is bigger than most malls around. They have a really nice movie theatre you should try here. read more

Nothing special- It is getting tired looking, and Macy's esp. Has had better quality clothes in the past.

Yes I agree, better than Crystal Run, but really, not a good mall at all. So much better to drive to Danbury or the shopping mecca - Garden State Plaza. The mall has very few good stores. I will probably never go again, it was that bad. read more

I love this mall so many things to look at and buy! Sometimes a little expensive but it is very good place to get gifts for u and urself. I wish the mall was a bit bigger and a little cheaper but that's New York anyway and the economy. read more

I'm in Poughkeepsie. What else was there to do in the winter months to kill time outside of skiing?

The only joy I find in this place when I was little was going up and down the elevator. The one story Kingston Mall seems more reasonable to go to than waste gas for the trip to come all the way here. read more

This mall is fair. It is very clean and has plenty of parking. It's a bit mid to down market though for the areas needs. I wish it had a Williams Sonoma and at the very least Lord & Taylor. I find myself driving 30 minutes to Danbury Fair more than 5 minutes to Poughkeepsie Galleria. read more

This is about RPM only did 3 stars because of management..... So I was there yesterday (saturday) night nd might i say the 2 ladies the one with green hair nd and with bleached hair that was the front did a wonderful job working together to help and explain what we needed to do and even offered to help us with the registration since it was our first time and we are from out of town they deserve some kind of acknowledgement or something for all they did they helped everyone in a fast and respectful manor they even explained y we had such a wait time and gave us options for what we can do while we wait again i state we are from out of town a friend that comes a lot referred us here they showed up after us tho. Where i must say I had a problem at was with your female manager the way she was talking to people nd the girl wen asked for help after the green hair girl walked away its very rude nd bad for business there was a issue with my friend nd a manager was called this lady had a smart behind attitude the moment she got to the register which is unacceptable in a place like this. The managers really need to be train on proper communication and how handle situations the general manager on the other hand is a wonderful guy he helped us on the track waiting area even had us laughing while we waited the track crew have so much positive energy. I have been warned by multiple people that comes to this location about the female manager. Its sad because these days 1 person can hive a whole company a bad taste and she going to do that ID she keeps acting snotty and having that nasty attitude or way of talking to her coworkers and customers... Anyways i can say outside of that one problem i enjoyed myself just wish you had food and snacks at this location. Maybe thats something the company should consider its in a wonderful location and it seem like you guys have the space where all the chairs are stored.. read more

Hmm, just wondering what these girls are looking for in the galleria.? There are several great stores to shop in now at this mall;good quality clothing stores that replace some of the cheesy, low quality teen shops. Just to start with -Banana Republic, Anne Taylor Loft, Victoria's Secret. Sure, there is no Nordstrom's, Tiffany's or even Lord and Taylor, but there are decent stores like Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle, Urban behavior, Gap, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, NY&Co, Macy's, Express, Children's Place, Brookestone, Bath and Body, Disney , Best Buy and the old staples like Sears, JCPenny, Radio Shack, Verizon, Lindt and Gertrude Hawk Chocolates, -just to name a few. So, what are you looking for??? NYCity is not that far away if you need or want some of the more exclusive shops or scenery. Hop on the train and grab a cab from there. Have to partially agree about some of the teens who hang out there at times. It's not mobs of them though. A few idiots here and there who try to act cool and just make fools of themselves. But Hey, Ive seen that at the most exclusive shops. Security should get a bit tougher; although they do seem to do a fairly good job of removing them from the premises when needed. All in all, the Poughkeepsie Galleria is a good mall and seems to be improving with the addition of a bit more upscale shops. read more

I have lived here for 20+ years and this mall gets worse and worse with each year. The good stores keep moving out ( most recently Brookstone), the food options are for 12 year olds and there are very few public sitting areas. I'm not asking to be the Westchester but at least on par with Danbury Fair Mall which is where I frequent most. read more

Terrible mall. It's half empty and all the good stores are moving out. Also the atmosphere is full of people who have no money to spend and just loiter around with nothing good to do but scream and yell. That mall will be the next newburgh mall read more

This might be the only one-star I've ever given to a place and desperately to give it more. This place used to be the mecca of the Dutchess County (at least from a teenage prospective). In my opinion, ever since the bookstore was taken out the place lost all appeal. It's dirty, usually pretty dead, and stores are closing and new ones are opening constantly so it's really sad and obvious it will probably be gone within the next five years. The only reason I'll go here (and it's not for a movie) is to go Christmas shopping and thank goodness that's FAR OFF. read more

A decent mall with decent stores. I don't know why people are saying all the good stores have moved, but when it fact the corporations of these stores filed for bankruptcy causing their demised when they weren't making their goals in profits to stay a float . read more

i used to shop this mall. I now live in rockland county near this malls sister palisades center. At least poughkeepsie galleria looks like a mall ,palisades looks like a warehouse.G. Fox and Filenes were much better stores than macys. Face it Dutchess County is not a Nordstrom or Bloomingdales area, Lord and Taylor would make it in Dutchess county, read more

Wendy's in this mall is the worst.. sandwiches are sloppy and messy and the service is the worst..

Poughkeepsie is a nice local mall with a nice variety of stores. You are correct Novy T. After reading the other reviews they sound like a bunch of whiners. read more

I have been coming to this store for many years. I do love express, Macy's, children's place, Victoria secret, build a bear, Dsw shoe store, Jcpenny, pet store, wetzel's pretzels which my kids enjoy and more. The most convenient thing is having target right in the mall! It really comes in handy! Now what I'm not happy with is this... not only is there no more kiddie rides. You know the quarter rides kids always look so forward to riding. Are gone! On top of that they have no activities for kids at this mall! Not like other malls we have been to. Big disappointment! They put a arcade store in so we went and the first time it was fun for the kids but pricey. Second time we went almost all the machines were broke and taking all the coins, too! No one around to help. Whatever tickets the kids had they couldn't get redeem for a prize because the prize machine is broke. We never went back again! The pet store my kids love ... love the puppies... but they had bunnies they loved to see and now I see they have no more . The girl at the front desk said they will not get them in anymore. The just have puppies. Also I see they took away a few good stores ... hoping they have better ones coming. They do ... for the time being have carter's store which I love. read more
