You know those long travel days that start early in the morning and end up with you tired, wanting a shower, and no time to find the perfect Yelp meal?
That was our group when we dined here. The location is extremely convenient to Residencial Malecon Torres Panama and Montevideo.
Our first meal in Cancun was good, not great.
Started with a Jarra de Clericot which was a refreshing beverage for moving from 30° F to 75° in the same day with your cold weather jeans still on.
I had the Grande Pozole Norteño with pork rinds. It has tripe and hominy. Guess my mind was still in winter. It was good. I had Chalupitas de Chilapa, Guerrero as an accompaniment which was awesome. I might try to mimic that back home as an hors d'oeuvre.
The overall atmosphere felt corporate chain. Think TGI Friday's.
I would dine here again in Cancun for the convenience and if I was in the mood for pozole. read more
