It was definitely challenging, but I think I made a few things that I could've ended up saving? There wasn't quite enough hands-on help for me to know though. Turns out the we ended class 20 minutes early and I totally had enough time, but was feeling rushed since the teacher was calling out to finish and clean up. I had nothing to take home and will probably not spend another $85 to do a class again. Definitely go if you're interested in learning, but spend the time wisely and don't leave early if you want a nice handmade bowl to bring home!

I love how they have such wide variety of items to choose form... the options were endless and all SO CUTE! The staff members are available to give you refills on your paint during your session and they are also willing to give you additional colors after your chosen 5. They also have tons of tools to use at your disposal (stencils, different types of brushes, hairdryers, etc).  Reservations are up to 2 hours, which I found to be on the shorter side (esp for a perfectionist like me!). My friends and I actually did not finish our pottery pieces during our first visit, but they were very accommodating and we were able to come back to finish our pieces a few weeks after.  Pieces are ready for pick up 1 week after you finish painting, which is a very quick turn around.

Overall a fun spot that I've been to a few times, but definitely not affordable as a regular hobby.

Today, I did the watercolor activity and was handed a folder with multiple sized paper and some watercolor paint. I started painting right away. The workers are around to refill the paint/brushes/supplies when you're running low. I felt extremely attended to and I had such a good experience. I think that in the future, I might do the air dry clay activity as drawing/painting is not really my forte.

I arrived early and was able to be seated before the rest of the women arrived. This was my first ever pottery class so I decided to make a mug. Other people in class also made a mug or a bowl or a ring holder. The class was a couple of hours long so we had enough time to design our items as well. Our instructor was Mariah and she was lovely; knowledgeable and such a great teacher. I will definitely take another class here or at the other location in the future.

So I found this cute spot on yelp. Ever since I was younger I wanted to learn design and how to…read moremake my own clothes but became a nurse instead. Now that I'm all settled I decided to try the Intro to Sewing class ($80: supplies included) here & I am SO glad I did!! Diana Rupp, the owner was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly and open! I showed up there with absolutely no knowledge of sewing or how to work a sewing machine. But if you come with interest and an excitement to learn, you'll enjoy it. She gave us hand outs with everything we needed to know, took us through all supplies for basic sewing, taught us the parts of the sewing machine and how to thread a sewing machine. I didn't even know there was a whole process even before beginning to use one?! Lol. She went at our pace, helped us each time we made a mistake, all while having a regular conversation. None of us ever felt left behind or stressed. I was beyond excited when the class was finished. I bought some supplies from her store and even Diana's sewing book (which I highly recommend if you're dedicated). I can't wait to practice on this new hobby and make it my own! They also have tons of other classes available if you want to learn other techniques. Already eyeing the next class I'll be taking: embroidery :)) Love love loved my experience!

If you're like me and had zero to no experience with sewing, this is the perfect class for you. She goes over threading step by step and gives you some great techniques and advice to take home with you so that you can practice. The classes are very small, so if you have questions, she's available. The two hours flew by. I left the class feeling very confident in what I learned (a little too confident, telling people I can take on those mofos on Project Runway!) I can't wait to take another class.
