As a long time customer of Pottery Barn I must say they have definitely gone down hill in quality and customer service! I purchased a rocker-power recliner 7 months ago and although it was supposedly a performance fabric it is now pilling all over and arms are dented due to cheap foam material! Customer service told me this is normal wear and tear, sorry! How can you pay top dollar at was a once quality store to be told sorry it's normal after 7 months to look like a used chair from Goodwill?? Totally unacceptable I will close my account and never purchase from Pottery Barn again!

OMG, I tried shopping online, but if color and texture matter to you, it's best to come into the store. You can make an appointment with a free design consultant if you want excellent help. If you bought online, you can return it here. This location has its own private parking lot in back. The staff are knowledgeable and remember your face if you become a regular.

Pottery Barn couch bleaching after less than 3 years time

I bought a couch less than 3 years ago from Pottery Barn. The cost of the couch with delivery was $1,300, and I had it upholstered in Sierra twill red by Pottery Barn. I live alone in an apartment and the couch doesn't get much use. It's been sitting in indirect sunlight since I've had it. Much to my horror, I went to move my living room around a few weeks ago, and the entire back of the couch has changed to light pink color. This bizarre bleaching is also happening on the tops of all of the cushions. When I contacted customer support, they refused to help me with the item unless I paid a sizable fee because the couch was more than a year old. This fabric is very poor quality and I expected better from Pottery Barn...a business that prides itself on quality. I won't be buying furniture from Pottery Barn ever again.

Roche "helped" us today. Not nice. Treated us like vagrants. Thumbs down, pottery barn.

Think HomeGoods or HomeSense stores, but much MUCH higher end. That about encapsulates this place. The store itself is one large, open concept floor. It has all sorts of kitchen gadgets and linens, gourmet foods/condiments, patio furniture and gardening accessories, home furnishings and household accessories. Nothing is cheap here, literally or figuratively. Everything is super well-made, but very pricey. My kid saw a pizza platter here for $20 that she purchased the day before at HomeGoods for $4.99. The exact same item. That said, this place carries a lot of brands and items that you cannot find elsewhere, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about their product lines. I liked their selection of retro wall clocks in a rainbow of colors, each for about $50 (I thought that was reasonable). Also, note that their sale prices on items are excellent deals. And they also carry smaller scale, cute gift things, on carousels by the front counter. I got my friend a cute pair of socks here.

There are elegant linens in all shades of neutral (white, cream, gray) with pillows and throws in pops of color or texture neutrals. The guest towels are just charming! Seasonally they change; silver reindeer; pastel bunnies; yellow tulips - a great way to recognize the various holidays with a simple touch. Lots of small home decor items that are carefully selected, simple, yet one of a kind. Trays for your trinkets in a textured sand pattern or subtle animal print. Tissue box covers that transform that cardboard box into part of your decor. Wonderful scented candles. My favorite area is the jewelry. I can't stop by the Manor without checking out the treasures, many from local artists, and definitely pieces that are not mainstream. Service is exceptional; if you are the type that want hands on assistance as you select items to refresh your bathroom or replace your bedding, they happily oblige. Or if you are like me and want to wander on your own and take it all in, preferring to seek assistance only if needed, they let you be. Definitely on the expensive side, but the quality is equally high. They always have an area with sale items, especially after Christmas, so make sure to check it out for fantastic deals.

Even if the color is wrong. Even if the product can't physically be delivered. Even if the mistake isn't yours. We purchased two couches from this Joybird store. At no point during the sales process were we told that the orders were non-returnable. When the couches arrived, one of them did not match the fabric swatch we were shown in the store. The other one never even made it into our home--the delivery team could not get it up the stairs. When we reached out to Joybird, they refused to accept a return, refused a refund, and refused to take responsibility--on either couch. Instead, they pointed us to fine print on their website about their company policies. It would be one thing if: - The sales associate had clearly explained that all orders were final. - We were pointed to explicit fine print before purchasing. - The product delivered actually matched what we were shown. But none of that happened. There are many other furniture companies that treat customers far better and stand behind what they sell. I strongly recommend choosing one of them instead.

The new location on the north side of NW 23rd, right next to Pottery Barn, is quite the showplace! It's absolutely stunning! With four floors of show rooms, including the rooftop terrace with gorgeous all weather furniture pieces, fountains and planters, it's worth a visit just to check out the spectacular view! RH has a style - industrial modern - and their showroom floors showcase their large pieces of streamlined furniture, textiles, and exquisite lighting beautifully. This is not furniture for an 1800 square foot house! Their sectional couches are huge! As are their chandeliers, coffee tables and wall cabinets. For me, the decor would work best in a high end hotel lobby or very large, spacious house. While visiting yesterday, it was refreshing to see rooms done in cappuccino colors after seeing nothing but gray for so long. I'm not knocking gray, my own house has lots of gray and creams, but it's nice to have options in the neutral range. In addition to selling furniture, they are a design house and will work with you to design a new home, remodel or just refresh a room or two. Or if you are like me, and wondered in just to check out the new digs, they encourage you to browse. Price point is very high, but for the clientele they target, it's not a problem. While I don't have any of their furniture, my bathrooms are stocked in their Egyptian towels and robes, a splurge when I bought my new condo. That purchase put me on their distribution list for their 5 pound catalog that comes out twice a year. Make it stop! What a waste of trees and the poor postal service workers! It's literally as heavy as the old Yellow Pages Phone Book, for those of you old enough to remember. RH really needs to eliminate this unnecessary piece of marketing that immediately gets tossed into the recycle bin. If you are all about modern, then use digital to update your clients on your new designs.
