This is one of my favorite Pottery Barns locations. While it's not the biggest, I find it to be a pleasant experience with knowledgeable and friendly staff. The store is always full of the latest offerings from furniture to trinkets. It's rarely crowd, but often busy with shoppers. You can usually find a sale or two if you look closely. I have bought many things from the brand over the years and loved them all. The quality of their goods makes the price worth the splurge. And they always have the nicest sales associates. I bought the Bloom shower curtain because of the quality I had come to know for PB. However it is not a quality shower curtain at all! I paid over $100, i think over $200 w bar and the color, eye holes and all around stitching is equivalent to a product somewhere like Walmart or Target. I've had mixed experiences with Pottery Barn. I ordered a bedroom set (dresser and two nightstands), and the hardware was very poor quality--the handles look like cast iron but are actually cheap and pop right off. I also ordered two leather couches. While I'm happy with the quality of the couches themselves, the delivery process was frustrating. The dates were repeatedly delayed, and when they finally arrived, one was the wrong color and had to be taken back. I attempted to order a bed as well, but after multiple delays, I ended up canceling it. Be cautious when purchasing furniture with metal hardware--it may not be as durable as it appears. read more

I purchased an entire house full of furniture. The designer Steven is talented, hard working and I recommend his recommendations. It took almost a year to get peices of our furniture. It is a second home and I purchased hoping to have scheduled move in dates. Update: it has taken forever and is a part time job just managing the issues with my order. Pottery Barn did fix the issues and were accountable in the end. I'm not sure I would do this again but the designer Steven is a talented guy and Carla in customer service helped sort things out, so wanted to be fair and update the review. read more

I love Pottery Barn. I have picked up many items for my home from here. As other have mentioned, many of their items can be priced pretty high. For that reason, I definitely keep a lookout for their sales. I have found some really amazing items here at great prices. That's why it's not unusual for me to pop in here whenever I'm at the Town Centre to have a peek around just to see what I might find. You never know when there will be a deal lurking. They have items here for every room in your home: Bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, etc. Really cute items. Everything is organized very nicely here. I also like to come in and look at their displays which give me great decorating ideas. I may not necessarily buy the pieces they are selling because of the high prices, but i get the idea and I can find the items somewhere else at a much lower price that will give me the same look. The shop is not very handicap friendly. It's difficult to move around the store in a wheelchair. i took one star away because while the customer service is good, most of the salespeople tend to be rather snobby. I don't get that from Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & CO., Michael Kors, or Coach at The Town Centre; yet, I get snobbishness at The Pottery Barn. Go figure. read more

After numerous attempts to talk to people through email and phone, the issues concerning our couch has still not been resolved. We have sent pictures to many different people and departments and at this point we are no longer interested in uploading more pictures to another department. We did receive replacement cushion covers for the couch that we will need to take care of by ironing and putting them onto the couch. They arrived in a plastic bed bag that was not completely sealed and were very wrinkled. We want to make understood that we are having to do a lot of work to get this couch right. Further, we have never received new foot pieces for the damaged feet to this date. It is very distressing in such that the customer service has been horrid from everyone except for our original salesperson. The time and effort we have spent to rectify an over $3,000 purchase is wearing thin on our positive attitude that Pottery Barn would resolve this issue on our behalf. We are making one more attempt to ask for you or someone to reach out to the correct people for us so we can get our couch feet replaced and please let them know that while we shopped Pottery Barn and Williams and Sonoma for many years, at this point will not be returning to the stores for any further products. read more

Purchased two sofas and had a issue which I wanted to speak to the manager about over the phone. Sales person, who was nice explained that the manager was not required to address issues over the phone and would decide when asked if they would. Obviously with this review they declined. Three sofas, three area rugs, curtains, rods, accessories, tables, lamps and other home goods over the years and our go to place is now history in our eyes. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! This was the WORST experience ever. We ordered a dinning room table and 8 chairs (thousands of dollars) in Sept 2022. We got our chairs within a month, but table was estimated for a for a February 2023 delivery. When I was able to schedule delivery of the chairs, they cancelled our delivery a day before it was supposed to be delivered and I had to reschedule. The second time, we got our chairs... which were just sitting in our dinning room for the past several months. The week of Jan 23, 2023 I got an email from PB saying its time to schedule my delivery for the table. On Jan 27, 2023 I received an appointment confirmation email for Jan 30th, 2023, from Pottery Barn. Monday Jan 30, 2023 I received an email at 9:07am saying "Your furniture appointment is today!". The confirmation email said delivery between 3-5pm. I rearranged a Dr Appointment and conference calls to be here and ready. At 4pm I click the "View Live Map" button to see where the delivery is, and the top of the map says "Delivery Cancelled"!!! What the F!?!?!?! No email, no phone call.. I've now been on the phone on hold about 20 min before getting to talk to someone. They're trying to contact their delivery people to find out what happened cause there's no notes in their system. And on top of that, I've been receiving spam emails from all the Pottery Barn affiliated businesses. I've unsubscribed from all the emails and yet still get emails from them. ugh.... Horrible Experience. Will never shop at PB again! We ordered a mirror in the Jacksonville store and it was supposed to be delivered in a week. Two and a half months later -- after lies from multiple customer services representatives, someone finally admitted they had no idea where the mirror even was. The customer service and ongoing lack of follow through on resolving the bed issue we've had since last year is unacceptable. On two occasions dating back to January and then again in April, the store management told us a replacement bed was ordered. They later conceded that the bed orders they had placed had been cancelled out by corporate because they were not authorized to take that action at the store manager level to resolve the issue. Now we have theircorporate customer service telling us we have two options--to take pictures and they will try to figure out how to fix it or to order a new replacement bed (for $4000) and when it comes in they will refund the bed they broke when they installed it incorrectly. Still no Danielle Desh collection furniture and still no customer service. The local pottery barn furniture store has done NO FOLLOW UP with me. read more

I requested an in home design service . Matt showed up on time . We discussed what I wanted to change and keep . After about 30 min he too pictures and told me he would send me ideas . Eight days went by and I didn't hear from him. I called the store and he was curt and said he would send me his choices . 4 days later , still nothing . After I called and left a message with the store manager , he sent me images of 3 cheap tables and nothing else. I asked for 11 pieces to purchase . Plus lighting . I can't even begin to write how rude and unprofessional this store and help are? I spent over 2k to find out that I was charged two times on 2 separate cards??? I went online to check my bill capital one and showed two charges on two separate cards. The girl who cashed me out had troubles with the register and swiping my license for a new card. I've been fighting a month to get it resolved. Mistakes happen but when in the store to resolve the manager never came out to see how I made out with capital one. To make matters worse my husband mentioned to employee and Karen basically came out and said that could never happen???? Wth? How rude are these people!!!! Save your money and shop online. I am so disappointed and quite frankly, exhausted with trying to deal with Pottery Barn. We spent a lot of money this year with PB and have been more than patient with the MANY delays in delivering our furniture. But the latest ordeal with a small console table takes the cake and following this last order we are DONE with PB and I will make sure to tell everyone I can in person and on SM our experience. Nov. 4 we ordered said console table ("in stock" mind you.) Credit card was charged for the table around December 6. According to the website the table was shipped on Dec. 8 with delivery on Dec. 13. Did not arrive and when I went to look at the shipping details noticed nothing further than shipped on Dec. 8 from GA. First call to CS who assured me it would be here Dec. 13 but after asking where is it bc I cannot see the shipping details, CS could not answer. Dec. 13 came and went with new due date of Dec 18. That date also came and went with new due date of Dec 24. Called CS who was positive it would arrive Dec 30 (not holding my breath) I did speak with someone in the shipping dept on Dec. 26 from the shipping dept who said "I'm going to be transparent, I don't think you will get this on Dec. 30 but I am reordering for you and it should arrive FEB 8" (!!) Tried calling to speak with a supervisor but could only talk through the CS agent - the supervisor would not speak directly to me. There are countless other phone calls to PB but I think you get the gist. Today I went to call again, and did get to speak with someone in the resolution dept who was trying to get more than 10% off of the price of the table for compensation but left me on hold for more than 10 minutes so I hung up. I am beyond frustrated and want to warn everyone that PB simply does not care about their customers and it shouldn't matter how much one spends but we have been extremely loyal. I have spent a fair amount of money at this store. Last month I bought a desk and a chair ((with custom slipcover ) for my study. After 6 weeks of waiting for the desk I finally received an email stating is was out of stock and never being replaced. It took them 6 weeks to figure that out? Now I am pleading with them to take my chair back with custom slipcover. Interesting to read the comments about snooty service. Pottery barn doesn't have much pottery, but it is a very nice home furnishing store. I always like waltzing through this store and looking at the designs and pricey furniture that I may never be able to afford. Some of the couches are comfy, pillows nice looking, trinkets cool, but wow all of the stuff here is expensive! There was a "sale" on a floor model couch that looked like it had seen better days... It still was $3000. I'll take my IKEA couch over that any day. This location is well positioned on a corner in St Johns Town Center. It is a relatively big store, with a lot of floor stock of pottery barn's latest designs. They have a fair number of clearance/last years model available for those with a more realistic price range (Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of their stuff, but am not sure I would pay as much as they're asking). The staff here are nice and make you feel welcome when you walk in by greeting you. Someone is usually wandering to make sure everyone has access to help if they need it. They have a sign that says they offer free design services, but we have never looked into what exactly this means. We love coming in for a look see and dreaming about a far off day where we might have enough money to do more than just window shop here. Until then, it's nothing more than eye candy. read more

Pottery Barn or Williams Sonoma owns Rejuvenation but I could not find a place to leave a review for them but all 3 have lost my business. I bought an Adela teak towel rack from rejuvenation online and what a joke. It came and the way you had to assemble it was the worst design I have ever seen. It was only 8 screws but where you had to install them was virtually inaccessible except for one turn of an allen wrench. It took me almost 2 hours to get them done. I would not have even purchased it if I knew there was assembly. The site did not say this. The shipping it came in was actually good. They could have shipped this assembled. Once assembled it is actually an okay product. I called customer service and told them how painful it was and they said that they would give me 10% off. I should have made them sit online while I assembled it. This product should be 109.00 not 250.00, 300.00 with shipping and tax. Buy the aqua teak version that has three rungs. Anyway, at the end of the conversation I found out the 10% off would be in the form of a gift card and that I needed to fill something out online to get it. I know my wife likes pottery barn but I will happily say bad things about them, williams sonoma, and rujuvenation from now on. This is the second thing I bought there in a short period of time. Since I dont know where to put a review I put it here. I also recently was looking at their Dupree Storage coffee table and asked my local furniture store to buy it special order instead. Pottery barn was 1399 for this coffee table and I bought mine for 799. These places are just expensive garage sale outlets for other company's things. I will enjoy the things I have purchased because it makes sense too, but I will not support them anymore. I hope all 3 stores go out of business. Looks like bed, bath, and beyond is bankrupt now. I am sure these will follow soon. I sure hope so. Then maybe we will see all these nice things people make for sale directly online. read more

I've always thought Pottery Barn was overrated and overpriced. My first trip to a PB somewhat confirmed this. As others have previously mentioned, the store is a bit pricey (some of the items on sale/clearance can still be pricey after the markdown.) HOWEVER(!) As I browsed the bedding section, there was a comforter on the display bed that my friend and I absolutely fell in love with. This was the softest, most amazing, and luxurious fabric I've ever felt. After looking around for this comforter and not seeing it, my friend and I realized that it was a duvet cover. After much debating (and her talking me into getting it) I ended up caving and splurging on the duvet cover. It didn't hurt that there was a 20% off sale--it actually helped to seal the deal. When I got home, my DH was impressed with the quality and feel of the fabric and seemed to be pleased with my purchase, and my research for Tencel (lyocell) sheets showed that I actually scored a decent deal on the cover (compared to Macy's and Bed Bath & Beyond.) Even though I still think PB is overpriced, I believe that you do get what you pay for--and then some. I will be looking into using PB for our future home needs. read more

We ordered furniture from Pottery Barn in March 2022. The original estimated delivery date has been changed over several times and we are now in November, and we still do not have our furniture. To make things even worse, they charged our credit card for the full amount of the furniture in October. They should not have charged us until we had an actual scheduled delivery date, which we do not. I sent a letter of complaint to the company in October, and they never responded. My husband has been in touch with Pottery Barn, and they said they were going to discount our order, but they didn't. I think the most frustrating part of this entire situation is that if someone would have told us in March when we ordered this furniture that it would take a year to receive it, we would never have ordered it. Now, we are stuck. It would be absurd to try and order furniture from somewhere else and wait months when we have already waited almost a year with this company. Because of Pottery Barns' non-transparency, shady business practices, and poor customer service, I Do NOT recommend them. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. read more

Does Pottery Barn have cute items? Yes. Are they in the heart of the St. John Town Center? You got it. Do they regularly have items in stock and have friendly customer service? Ehhh. Look, I love the decor. I love the furniture that's excessively expensive. I've purchased several items, the latest purchase including an entire set of dinnerware (several pieces of which, I am still waiting for, weeks later). But the people that work there are less than friendly. It's like walking in on a set of a Housewives of (insert favorite city here) show. You're automatically not welcome, and everybody knows it. I've visited this store enough times, and the vibes in there are chilly, at best. Not to mention that if an item is not in stock, they will order it for you, provided you pay shipping, of course. I do like Pottery Barn's inventory-but the interaction with the sales associates I've worked with was not very pleasant. I will still buy less expensive items here, but the "real" money spending will happen at a company where I can feel comfortable that if anything goes wrong, they will have the desire and the ability to make it right. read more

This particular Pottery Barn is really nice but I LOVE the location at the Florida Mall better. This one is a lot roomier and less cluttered but Didn't have as much of the Rustic decor as they do in the Florida Mall. If you can't find what your looking for at this Pottery Barn, your best bet is to check the one in the Florida Mall. read more

I love PB but it's on the other side of town. Came in today after a close appt and used maps to find location and noticed all the negative complaints on yelp about poor service and staff that don't care. I was asked TWICE within 30 seconds upon entering how they could help me and was checked on three times during my visit. The lady that helped me today was nice, knowledgeable, and has worked there for 7 years. I give a 5 star review. Very helpful. read more

I never thought I would write a negative review about Potter Barn because I have been a loyal customer for many years, but here goes. I ordered a sofa from them in March 2019. The sofa was delivered in May of 2019. In July, one cushion was sagging so badly it looked terrible. I immediately contacted the service department. I was instructed to send in pictures, which I did. They sent a very young man out to look at the sofa. He took additional pictures and said he would "talk to his boss." I heard nothing back from them. After two weeks, I started calling customer service. I spoke to some very kind ladies who really wanted to help me, but I never heard anything back. Today I decided to try another route. I sent an email to the Delivery Quality team. I received an email that said, "Apologies, that you were not contacted and advised of the results of the Tech report. As per report, found item to be in good standard." Really! The material is falling off a cushion after two months on a sofa that I paid over $2000.00 for. I cannot get anyone to help resolve this matter. My next course of action is to take the pictures and the cushion to a Pottery Barn store. I am so disappointed in Pottery Barn.
