I was offered the option to leave the laptop with them while we wait for motherboards to restock, which I accepted. It seemed to be taking a long time for motherboard suppliers to get any back in stock (but lots of things were backordered at this time), so I called back after a few months. AZ Tech said they still had it but no motherboards were available yet. I called back again a few months later to check and was told that the laptop was thrown away. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how this happened, no notice or warning, they just threw it away. The hard drive on that machine is now gone forever.
