Still one of my favorite places, keep coming here more often than not. Mediterranean Chicken sandwich on multi-grain is my most favorite sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup. The place is always clean and very well maintained. The staff is amazing and are very helpful and fast. The parking lot is normally full during lunchtime. But they have introduced a very easy concept of calling ahead of time and they deliver it to you at your car. Awesome!!! Turkey sandwich and Tuna sandwich are very yummy too, have had a jab at them, however, I keep going back to Mediterranean chicken sandwich. I've had Potbelly a handful of times but almost always via mobile ordering, so I was a bit unfamiliar with the ordering process and so was the person in front of me. The cashier told me where to go to order. So you tell one person the type the of bread/meat cheese, wait for them to prepare it which took more than a few minutes. Then you wait again for someone to come ask what you want on the sandwich, which was a bit of a wait. Then you go checkout in which you have to basically repeat the whole thing again. I feel like it would be much smoother process telling one person your whole order but anyways... Service was iffy at this location for the amount of staff I had to interact with. The fountain drink area was a bit of a mess. In all the time we waited to go through the ordering process the cashier was just standing there and definitely could have help to straighten up (but I do get it, stay w/in your job description, I guess). I ordered a turkey sandwich w/ all the basic toppings minus tomato. The sandwich was okay overall. Not a lot of seating in the actual restaurant but it's in the food court so plenty of seating right around the area. read more

As someone who was new to potbelly I was super excited to try their sandwiches and ordered from the EP Mall because that was the most convenient location. Huge mistake- they ignored my customizations for both my & my husband's sandwiches, forgot to include one of the soups we had ordered, and our food was not even warm when it came out (mind you we had two paninis and soup). I try not to complain about poor service but when you're spending $20 on a sandwich I have to admit I had higher hopes. read more

I went here for dinner at 6:00 pm and the service and staff are Great! The nice young teenager who waited on me and made my sandwich was very polite and he has a great smile. The broccoli cheese soup and sandwich is delicious. I will be coming back more often. read more

First time and a great selection...but the bread slicer seemed like he didn't want to be there. I told him it was my first visit, yet he didn't want to enlighten me on how their service works. So I ordered the tuna melt - at Subway that is my go to sandwich. But it wasn't a Subway sandwich, the tuna was dry and the bread was heavy. The employees laughed at me and mocked my family after they got our order wrong. The employees were very rude to me and my family. I ordered my sandwich like I always do and requested for a specific topping to be left out. While in line I remembered I wanted to substitute turkey for bacon but when I asked the employees they responded in a very rude manner. The worker who took my order became huffy and threw out the sandwich they had already made. As we waited in line the employees started to laugh at me and ridicule my intelligence. They mocked me by reciting my order in a rude tone. I paid and left. When I sat down to open my sandwich I found it to only have turkey and nothing else. Great place to grab an above average sandwich and shake! I enjoy going here for a quick lunch or if I happen to find my way to Eden Prairie Center for some reason. It is a toasted sub, most closely resembling a toasted Jimmy Johns if you ask me. They also offer odds and ends such as soup, cookies, bars, chips, and shakes(more on that later). They do get quite busy during the business lunch hour, but you'll find the same line at any decent Eden Prairie establishment from about 1145-1pm. They do a pretty good job of ripping through a large line, and it never really gets held up. The "wreck" is my favorite sandwich. They give you a choice of white or wheat bread, throw your toppings on, toast it, and then give you your choice of mayo, salt, pepper, oil, veggies, etc when it is done toasting. Almost a requirement if you dine at this establishment is the excellent shakes. The shakes are tasty, but it is the little cookie that they add to the straw that really tops off the meal. You can't beat it after a warm sub. Staff is friendly, quick, efficient. Decor is kind of old style rustic style, but very clean and neat. Prices are reasonable, I believe around $6 for the sub or so. read more

Great place to swing by for a snack. Potato soup was great but the sandwiches are not too exciting.

They have shakes here that are quite good on a warm day. Hand scooped ice cream if I remember correctly (summer seems sorta far away currently) . They have happy making pickles. When they deliver at work sometimes I tend to hoard the containers. They are the perfect! I also really like the Italian with mayo and mustard. There brown mustard is soo good! Its no erbers or jimmy johns, but its a solid place for some turkey sandwich. Haven't tried any of the other ones, but the turkey is solid. You can make it at home yourself or you can get it here. They also have soups and pickles. They are located right by the food court, but they have their own entrance. A shop within the shop. Between messing up an order and employees dropping the f-bomb left and right because they clearly don't like each other, truly the worst customer service experience I've had in recent memory. One guy, when I mentioned I was still waiting on my cup of chili was swearing up a storm cause he couldn't find his scissors to cut open a new bag of chili to fill the hot pot, and when he couldn't find the scissors just threw the bag of chili on the floor and walked away. Omg !! Let me just say I'm from Cali but moved to chaska for a short time and I worked and the mall and this is my favorite place;) soo perfect. The malts are the best;) made with care and salads and sandwich are yummy . The oatmeal chocolate chip cookie is to die for!!!!! Must try and u will love!!! This place has yummy, giant cookies the size of your head. My favorite sandwich is the pizza with peperonis. If you catch this location at lunch time it is a bit busy, but they make the sandwhich pretty quickly. They also usually have a someone playing guitar and singing covers which gives this place a chill vibe. The live music sets them apart from most chain sandwhich places. read more

I love potbelly sandwiches, especially the Italian with the hot peppers. The poor rating is due to the incident I had there last night. They're open until 10 on Fridays and Saturdays, and I was STARVING for food and wanted something before catching a movie. I got there at 9:53, and the door was locked. They refused to let me in. I know it can be lame trying to go into a place last minute, but hours are hours, it isn't a full service, kitchen restaurant, and sandwiches take about 2.5 minutes to make. I used to love eating at this location, however the last time I ordered food from here made me not want to return. I ordered food online, and my husband went to pick up the food in store, as we have done in the past numerous times. My husband arrives on time, waits 10-15 minutes while the staff ignores him. Finally he leaves. I contact the store, they state they will give me a refund. Great, problem resolved. Never happens. I write to the manager, he plays phone tag with me a couple times, but never once refunds my $30+ purchase of food I never received. Fantastic customer service.. read more

I think this is one of the better sub chains and a big step up from the Subways/Quizno's of the world. I almost always get the wreck with hot peppers. Shakes are also good and the staff is friendly. This is the best choice out of the mall food court. read more

I'm going to agree with Natalie. the food is great no complaints about that but the service can improve. When I went, the employee was not very polite. She spoke unclearly and I could not understand what she was saying so I ended up messing up the order on my sandwhich because she was too impatient for me to understand her speaking. The staff but especially her were just a little cranky I'm going to say. I gave this potbelly two stars, not because of anything to do with the taste of the food but all about the service. I frequent this potbelly for lunch and it usually is pretty hectic so I can understand some mix ups happening. But every time I have ordered a salad here it has been an issue, and this is at least 4 times. They just can't get there salad game together! Each time I have ordered one, my order gets yelled down the line as per usual at potbelly, but when I reach the end my salad has not been made. So I have to stand at the side as people getting sandwiches behind me flow on through and awkwardly recite over and over what I want in my salad. And if the person in front or behind me gets one too it's utter confusion! and I usually end up with something wrong with my order. Again, if this was a one or two time occurrence I could deal, but the same issue on multiple visits has caused me to visit other options on my lunch break. read more

I always have to ask the employees to wash their hands. They constantly go from the cash register, cleaning, drinking personal drinks, etc. to making sandwiches and don't wash their hands/improperly put gloves on. I've stopped going to this restaurant because they cross-contaminate everything. Hand washing is quick, simple, and it can keep us all from getting sick. Just do it! read more
