The vibe in the store is noticeably peaceful. The tasteful music, lighting, and comfy seating is immediately welcoming. The space has room to grow, and a glance in the back room with its stock of books indicates that growth will be coming. As it is now, the shelves are organized by genre and alphabetically. I noticed a lot of familiar authors in the fiction books and many interesting titles in nonfiction. If my tbr pile was not already so large, I would have been tempted to buy more books than I did. I had a nice conversation with Fearless, one of the owners. He's a great listener as evidenced by how he listened to my motor mouth go on and on. He's a prolific reader, so if you want advice about your next read or just want to talk books, he's your man. Fearless says they are hoping to make the store a place where people feel comfortable enough to hang out and have a cup of tea or coffee. There are tables and chairs for working or just sitting and talking. The website indicates they sometimes buy books, but also accept donations.
