So I took it to the UPS Store to get them to package it, thinking I would get it boxed there and then drive back to FedEx to drop it off. The team there offered to build me a custom box, though they wouldn't be able to do it until Monday (this was on a Saturday). I was leaving town Sunday, but when I told them that they said it was no problem; they offered to wrap the box and take it to the nearby FedEx shipping center in the shopping center on Monday, when I was out of town. They did so, and called me to confirm it Monday, and the package arrived with no trouble. Really appreciated them going the extra mile on what had been a very frustrating day up to that point.

The staff have been overly helpful--even pulled out a couch for us to sit down as there was originally only a single chair. The staff even called the airline and could be heard frantically on the phone advocating for us the customers. They have been taking the best of care of us despite the lengthy delay. I won't penalize them for that as they can't control the airlines and arrival times. I'm absolutely astounded at the length these people go for their customer. Excellent work guys keep it up! During that time the busy staff were completely accomodating. One very efficient young lady in particular took us under her wing to make us comfortable. Soon after my dog arrived she even took a photo of my guy in his crate so that I could see him & know that he was OK! It took just a short time after that for the paper work to get done & for us to be happily on our way. The customer service made all of the difference! After reading all these reviews of false promises I was skeptical but resigned to giving up my plans and waiting for the package all day; the delivery window was between 9am and 6pm. Lo and behold, Sameday arrives at 3:30pm with my gazebo. Packages were in great shape and the crew making the delivery were courteous and professional. My only complaint is that I was supposed to receive a phone call a half hour prior to delivery which I did not receive. Overall happy with the service. People typically only write reviews for poor service so I'm here to break up the landscape.
