Actually preferred the more cramped layout. During visit today to mail a small package to Austin, the young man helping me was not overly friendly and somewhat annoyed that he had to spend a lot of time looking for a container in which to properly fit a dress and pair of shoes. He came back w/ a massive box, and I suggested that perhaps everything would fit in a soft mailer. He pulled one out, I put everything inside, and it was still way too big. I offered to maybe stuff it with the bag that I had brought my items in. He said in a flat tone, "It's not going to make a difference/the bag is tear-proof anyway." Then when I completed the checkout process and hit "print receipt," he condescendingly said, "You don't need to hit the print button next time." I guess because it automatically prints a sticker tracking receipt and it was such a huge bother for him to actually have to rip off an another paper receipt from the register. I know I'm nit-picking, but I was used to upbeat, stellar customer service and this kid came across as a typical teen--bothered.

I noticed that the owner , Kim, is available to help customers, when needed. I see a great improvement here in the helping attitude of employees and I do appreciate that! When I arrived, the clerk asked if I minded her helping the people behind me first. I did mind--but I stepped aside anyway. When it was finally my turn, I presented my documents. She dismissed my valid ID (out of state, we just moved, I had the usps forwarding official documents as one of the verification docs), despite my having four additional forms of identification. I asked the manager to come assist and speak with me directly. She refused. This was hands-down the worst service I've experienced: slow, dismissive, and unprofessional. Don't waste your time like I did mine.
