I walked towards the back and was trying to find a certain pair of pants and the younger employee was too busy writing something down and never once looked up and acknowledged my existence even though I was walking right by. I continued to wander around the store attempting to find the right set of pants but now the younger employee had disappeared in the back. The older employee near the front was still with a customer and multiple times I walked right by him but he never once acknowledged me or asked if I needed assistance, which I did. I found a pair of pants myself, let myself into the fitting room because no one else was around that seemed helpful or who cared. While in the fitting room another employee spoke to my wife outside and when I exited he spoke with me and was helpful. He helped me pay for the pants and was the only one who talked to us the 20-25 minutes we were in the store. I did like the selection of suits and would contemplate buying one from them but possibly at another location because 2 of the 3 employees didn't seem to care I was in the store ( with one other customer shopping at the time). To the one employee, thank you for your help. Other than that, I had a very disappointing visit.

They took my money and didn't deliver!…read more I am hard to fit and they offer good merchandise in the larger sizes. Their website is big on selling but offers no order checking or tracking. My first order was for a parka and I ordered two to get the right size. They took weeks to get me the refund for the one I returned with their permission. Next I ordered sweaters -- a cardigan and a vest. Weeks later I called and was told they could ship the cardigan and back order the sweater vest, but they charged me for both. They shipped the cardigan on Nov. 20 2010, but I never got the vest (Feb. 28, 2011). I have asked for a refund ($119.95), but going on four months later I can't get through by phone and they don't respond to their emails. I have filed a complaint with BBB, but they didn't respond to that either. Don't trust them with your credit card and especially not with your debit card.

I actually thought they were out of business. I had given up months into 2016, but couldn't resist now after coming across a string of emails imploring them for some action to rectify the situation. I did finally receive an order on 1/4/16, for which I had paid $122.35. The order was completely wrong. I returned the items and again had to email them on 4/2/16 regarding credit to my account. I never received the credit. All my correspondence included the required details of my order.

Each one of my feet actually has their own ZIP Code, so I have to pay taxes on them, unfortunately. And if you think my feet are massive, you should see the size of my socks. Luckily, DXL has always been there to supply me with some clown shoes that are not only comfortable, but they look good and don't break my bank account. So I tend to have a positive opinion of them. Until my last shopping experience. I had gotten a coupon in the mail for what seemed like a very generous offer. I don't remember what it is, but it was very good. Enough to get me into the store, which was their goal. The discount was for something like a flat amount off the total purchase, or maybe a percentage discount. Don't really remember but you get my drift I hope. After trying on a handful of shoes, I found three or four pairs that I was happy with and wanted to buy. I brought them to the front of the store, which was being staffed by a guy i had been chatting with my whole time there. He was very personable and friendly. Good guy. He rang up my order and went to use my coupon. Ladies and gentlemen, this is when the malarkey started to happen. I had naïvely assumed I would just be able to use the coupon on any shoes in the store. How stupid of me! DXL is a corporation, of course they'll be operating with predatory practices. There was more fine print on that stupid coupon than a contract with the devil. Not ONE of the shoes that I wanted to buy were eligible to be used under that coupon. After reading it, I realized that I had got sent a coupon for a discount for shoes in which probably half the stores inventory did not qualify for. Probably will not be returning to the store with business practices like that.

I only recently really got into golf and my wife wanted to try out PXG clubs, so we booked a "swing session." My parents have always been Callaway/TaylorMade golfers, so I was a bit skeptical about this brand I have never heard of before. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted and made feel very welcome. They checked in with us while we waited (we got there a bit earlier than scheduled time) multiple times and answered any questions we had. My wife worked with Brendan, but I was put with Brian. Let me say that during the swing session, I was more satisfied with how Brian was as a fitter than how PXG clubs felt. Granted, I am rather new, so I have not swung many clubs, but PXG clubs themselves felt better than my almost 10 yr old hand me down TaylorMade RSi2s, but Brian's insights into club fitting and how to improve my swing left me feeling amazed. And there was zero pressure at all for us to purchase. So both my wife and I booked a full fitting session, with our respective fitters. And when we returned for my full bag fitting session, there was nothing that changed and that is to say it was absolutely phenomenal. Brian dialed in to what configuration would be best for me, even with my inconsistent and novice skill. And again, there was zero pressure to purchase. And he stayed quite late (I didn't know time could fly by so fast), way past the initial scheduled time to help me figure out what would work for me. did end up purchasing iron set and some woods/hybrids, and I am ecstatic to try them out. Being completely honest, as I mentioned before, I didn't feel (probably because I am not at a skill level where I am consistent enough to notice it quite yet) a HUGE difference in the PXG clubs vs the ones I was using. That is not to say that I felt zero difference. But what helped me make the decision to purchase is that Brian showed immense experience and confidence in fitting, and in turn, made me confident that knowing my skills, he has fitted me with clubs that would work for me and with me for some time while I improve my game.
