David does a great job of getting the right measurements, so that the suits fit properly and usually don't need any additional tailoring after the first fitting. On the rare occasion that adjustments do need to be made, David isn't hesitant to make the proper adjustments to get the right fit. Other companies that try to save money by not tailoring the suits for a perfect fit. The Astor & Black fabric and construction quality ranks among the top of all of the options I have tried, but the time it takes to get the suits from Astor & Black is substantially faster than the other high-end options. I will only be getting suits from David and Astor & Black from here on out.

(covid- ya know) Because of that, I haven't had too many occasions to get out. Well, last week, I gathered up my courage to leave the house, took off my sweats for the first time in 8 months, tossed on my Bonobos jeans, and..... was not remotely close to being able to button those bad boys up. NOT EVEN CLOSE. Welp, I figured it was time to accept defeat and go buy some "post quarantine" jeans. That brought me to the Bonobos store in the Seaport. When I walked in I was given a warm, friendly greeting by Suheily. She asked me the last time I had been to the store. I told her about a year ago, but since than I had gotten a bit plumper. She pulled up my order history, and said I was a 32 last time I had purchased jeans. She optimistically said, "lets try a 33". After needing to go up a couple more sizes, we finally found my perfect fit, in two different styles! I was super excited to purchase my new jeans, and start living my life again outside of sweatpants! She rang me up, and told me when I could expect my new jeans to arrive. I told her, "thank you for all your help today. Hopefully next time I'm in, I may fit back into my old jeans!" What she said next, just made my day. She said, "It's the person who makes the clothes, not the clothes who make the person. And you are beautiful just the way you are!" Well Suheily, you are a true professional, and a wonderful person! I blame bonobos the brand because they fail to train their staff or take action against the staff that's misbehaved and unhelpful. On 2 separate occasions I visited the store and had HORRIBLE experiences. the staff is rude, inconsiderate and talk as if they are doing you a favor by just acknowledging you. Not buying this brand again.
