This woman hems jeans perfectly. She knows just the right length for flats and she'll make jeans the right length for specific heel height, just bring the heels when you go! She does it in a particular way so that it preserves the bottom of the pants, so they don't look hemmed. Love it. I brought a suit jacket in for tailoring, without asking what it would cost. I got a quote that was much more than I anticipated, but I didn't say anything. I was told it would take 3 weeks because she was really busy. The next day I called to cancel the job, but the woman told me that she had already started so she couldn't refund the money. When I came to pick up the jacket 3 weeks later, I learned that she had not even started the job. I cannot speak to her skill in tailoring, but she has proven that she is liar and untrustworthy. read more

Mireni has saved my life on several occasions. My size changes but my dresses do not --- funny how that works. When another tailor said there was no hope in making a dress larger, Mireni was able to alter the dress perfectly.
