I came in about five minutes after open with a sizable customs package for my deployed boyfriend. I…read moreknow- right after open, pretty shitty but I had to work at 8:45-6 and was running out of time. Anyways! I got in, didn't have the customs papers filled out because the online version was being difficult and it was my first time doing it so I was all nervous I was doing it wrong. Brenda helped me out so much. She explained how to fill the papers out and even made me feel better about being a little scattered. It's been tough with him gone and her presence and jokes really made me feel better and had me belly laughing for the first time since he left. I hope I see her again when I drop off his Thanksgiving package. Thank you Brenda, I really appreciate you! Give her a raise. :)

Now, you have to understand that my experiences with USPS have been in Chicago and Memphis, so my…read moreexpectations at this point are very, very low. Can I get in and out in less than half an hour? Will you mail my package with a minimum of inarticulate snarling at me? Will you not hoot and holler with your buddies in the back while ignoring the ten person deep line forming in front of you? Given that, I've been totally blown away by the service at this location. I don't think I've ever waited more than 5 minutes, they almost always have 2 windows open, and mailing a package has been practically painless. Plus, the employees are actually friendly! Like, say hello, ask how you are, and actually sound like they care level of friendly. I mean, I now actually don't mind running down to the post office to mail something, where previously I would rather pay four times the price and use UPS just to avoid another unfortunate post office experience. Maybe if you're from around here you're used to it, but color me impressed with, of all people, the men and women of this post office!

I have never had as many problems with package delivery in my home-owning life (11 years) as I have…read morehad the last couple months in West Bend. I realize I sound ultra paranoid, but it's almost as if they are amusing themselves by some unnecessary game of "Don't Deliver the Package." First they wouldn't leave packages at door... called and fixed that problem (they are supposed to). Next up: we are home but somehow missed their knock at the door in order to sign (btw, our Panera delivery guy doesn't seem to have a problem with us answering the door. I'm picturing the postal carrier playing their version of dong dong ditch), and now the latest: a package that not only was it small enough to fit in the mailbox, but it should have been left on the steps/porch. In other words, it did not need to be signed for. They never even left a slip, they just took the package back. I thought what I ordered (a Christmas present no less) was taking unusually long to deliver. I didn't know that it had been sitting in the post office for almost two weeks until I went to pick up a different package (that I missed signing for due to the ninja postal carrier's secret ways ). "NOT" was written on it, which I believe stands for the alleged claim of "no one there." Yup, great. Noone needed to be. I mean, it is likely I was home, but that's beside the point... I honestly don't understand why this is a problem. If it does not fit in mailbox, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY, PLEASE LEAVE THE PACKAGE AT THE DOOR.

I'd give it a zero if it were possible. Like others have mentioned they're scamming with postage…read moredue requests. It has happened a couple times in the last month. Tracking on USPS.com states my packages couldn't be delivered due to "no secure location", yet the form 3849 left in my mailbox states "postage due". Scammy BS and I hope they are prosecuted. Don't be surprised when it happens...
