This happens frequently, and one of the times I had to chase down the driver in -20° weather when I saw him drive by without even attempting to deliver a package. I called to talk to someone about it (again), and the post office lady decided to argue that "they're a trustworthy carrier, and they said they knocked and rang the door bell, you just didn't hear it". I was home all day and waiting in my livingroom (quite literally 5 feet from the door, with a massive window facing the walkway) and nobody came to the door. It's weird but I have never been to the Oconomowoc post office before until Amazon handed off one of my items to them. Today, I decided to pickup my item because it was delayed. As a healthcare worker who feels strongly about great customer service and positive body language, I did not get this at all with this Oconomowoc post office worker. She was loud, rude, and short. I didn't mean to take up her time or waste her time. I was given a message by Amazon that my package was dropped off at the post office and I came to pick it up. I gave her my full name. Her response was, 'how do you know that it was dropped off here?" I wasn't sure if she didn't hear me or she wasn't in a good mood to listen. She had some other questions so I just showed her the message then she asked for my driver's license. Finally, she took my driver's license and asked if it's current and then left to head somewhere. When she came back she told me that it was already loaded up and will be delivered today but this time she sounded more calm in her voice. I just smiled at her and thanked her and then exited the building. I guess the worst thing is no one did anything during the time when she was rude not even her co-worker next to her or the long time customers. Maybe everyone is used it and that's why she thinks it's okay to continue the behavior. Maybe it's never been corrected. Maybe she is the boss and there is no one to stop the behavior. Maybe she is related to a higher up. Anyway, I can always tell when a person hates their job, don't like people, and treat people the way they do because of lack of discipline. I will avoid ever going back there again. I will never forget how that place made me feel.

Thankfully I have the Informed Delivery app cause my mail and packages took 25 minutes to locate within the Post Office. I knew exactly what I was expecting and they had to find them. I've had many other issues that have required the Post Masters attention. DO NOT TRUST HIM... We had a phone call about a mail box relocation, granted me permission as to the EXACT location, then after I cemented the post and got the boxes set up he decided that the location needed to be on the other side of the street. Dozens of emails were exchanged after that showing his character. He should not be in a customer service position at all. Very rude and can not be trusted. My delivery service was non-existent for 4 days, on the 5th day I sent him an email asking him if there was a problem. He responded in the most unprofessional manner and completely condescending.... I was forced into getting a PO Box because I can not depend on any service at all. Once there is a change at the Post Master level, maybe the quality of service can come back to par. Right now, this post office is a joke. Don't bother contacting them if there is an issue, just go straight to USPS Consumer Affairs and file a complaint with them.

Kittens, the smallest pet rodent are hamsters, die-cast toy Fiat 500 to scale, the smallest inner Russian doll, Aggretsuko, all cute because they are smaller versions of a big thing. This post office handles almost all USPS services with just one worker in a small building with a small parking lot. Drop in for stamps and drop off a package. The latter will almost certainly be handled with more care and delivered with more accuracy than Amazon, FedEx, UPS or your idiot nephew who was going right by the place you wanted the package dropped off but he smokes too much marijuana.

It's not even the full building, it's just the front of a private residence. But you can get stamps, mail packages, or get a P.O. box. Only one person works here, and they also work at other locations, which explains the short hours. Park along the street in front or across the road; there is no lot. There is also a mailbox out front for when they are closed, but you have to get out of your car to use it.
