A friend of ours had just…read moregotten a puppy for her children and the apartment complex where she was living wouldn't allow her to keep the puppy so my husband and I wound up with this beautiful little puppy. We named her Daisy May. Daisy was exactly what we needed in our lives. She is truly a blessing. We had been talking back and forth about getting Daisy to a trainer so that she could be with us at work. We just didn't want to be without her all day. So I was reading an ad on Nextdoor Rubin Center and I called the number and I spoke to Mike Letterman on the phone and wanted to meet us and Daisy. As soon and Lance and I met Mike we just knew this is where we wanted Daisy to be trained, by Mike Letterman with Down Boy Down K9. The only thing we were hung up on was being without Daisy for two whole weeks but we know this is the route we needed to take. Mike took Daisy for two weeks and brought her back to us. We were amazed with the way Daisy learned her commands - because she was a stubborn dog. While she still can be stubborn, when we tell her Sit, Here, Place and all her different commands - she listens. She just knows! Mike spent some time with Lance and I teaching us what he taught Daisy and the commands he uses and the steps we take to continue the training. Daisy is wonderful and delightful. She is loved by everyone that comes to the office. We work at American Store & Lock # 5 on South Tryon Street in Charlotte NC and our customers will come to the office to see our Daisy May - they just love her so. We call her our therapy dog. She gets so excited when people come to the office she will get up and greet them to make a friend. We are so thankful we found Mike Letterman with Down Boy Down K9. He absolutely does a phenomenal job with training dogs and when the two weeks are up, it doesn't end there. He still calls to check on Daisy and checks on us to see how things are going and if we need any help in any areas. Mike is just a great guy and he is great at what he does and he truly enjoys his work. We made a friend for life with Mike and Shannon Letterman and our life with Daisy is an absolute treasure. Thank you Mike for all you do for us and for Daisy May!

I had looked online for some top rated practices (and found one I was going to use), however a friend recommended here. I decided to give it a try and am SO GLAD we did! One of my dogs went for his first visit today and they spent 3 hours with him. I know it was a weekday and less busy than a weekend, however it was truly as if he was the only dog there. They listened to my concerns, provided an estimate (which was fair in price) before moving forward with additional diagnostics, and treated him like an actual king. The lobby is clean and spacious and had a super inviting drink station as well! We will certainly be back soon having 6 animals in the home and I am so thankful we decided to give them a try! Dr Conway, the tech, and front desk staff were all SO incredibly kind!!

Sassy immediately took to Dr. Erin, and I can count less than 10 people the princess likes, so when she opened up her own practice (Charlotte Companion) we followed her. She is a really good vet. Very thorough. I'll give an example: was pretty sure the baby had another UTI but the normal tests weren't catching it. So she put the samples on a slide under a microscope and showed me yep, there was still bacteria. Got a stronger antibiotic and voila, happy & healthy kitty. The office is super nice, and all of the techs are great, especially Sam and Hatlee. Hatlee does Tatiana Taryn's fluids each week (they call her the cat whisperer). I'm really happy with the level of care (and attention to detail) my little one gets here!

This woman ghosted me for several days and did not answer me back when I kept asking questions that anyone else would ask before purchasing a dog. She got very defensive, and I could tell, by the way, she was texting me that she was upset when I asked if that was her final price. That the dog would cost.. At that point, the conversation was null and void. She never answered me back until I told her. I was coming to get the dog the following day. As we discussed, and she sent me that text message saying, I was not a candidate. I asked her.Was it because I told you early on in our conversation that I was a cancer patient.. My dog has just passed away in march of 2024.. I was looking for obviously another companion. I'm home all day and I could give this dog a very loving home as we did.Our other dachshins, we had in the past.. So to do something like that the day before, I'm supposed to pick up the dog.
