Very happy with the prices! We were able to get two entrees and an appetizer for under 50 dollars before tip. The entrees came with a large serving of pasta and tasty bread. The vibe is more casual than I expected and the addition of trivia night made the experience one we will not forget. Our server was awesome and kept up on our drinks while we played trivia. Second, the pizza was OK but the salads were superb (the blue cheese was from Jasper Hill Farm in Greensboro, VT). Third, Hill Farmstead beers are on tap (which were very high quality). On the minus side, the "back bar" area had limited seating (it was quite crowded). Service was OK. You must order first and pre-pay at the front (giving your name and seating location), then wait for the staff to bring your pizza and salad to you. BLM artwork litters the walls, there's a sign that says "trans people eat free" under the register and Hailey greets you with the warmest smile from behind the counter! Then...we tried the food. Nothing could have prepared us for how absolutely delicious everything was! And its not just their pizza thats mind-blowing, so are their vegetarian and chicken dishes. Hailey's service was wonderful, she (and her sweet daugther!) even did a site visit before the wedding to give us advice on where her team should set up, and what makes the most sense for rental planning. She was extremely accommodating to our vegan diet, as well and provided gluten-free alternatives for our guests. My parents mentioned "faine" aka "farinata," because we eat that with our pizza in our home-country of Argentina, and Hailey offered to learn the recipe and make it for us at the wedding. Thats how thoughtful she is! We ordered: - grazing table full of local cheese and meats - maple seared scallops - fish cakes -farinata -green salad with seasonal veg -maple braised chicken thighs and drumsticks -quinoa & bean stuffed squash -pizza buffet with vegan cheese and GF crust options -peach & blueberry cobbler At the wedding, no one could stop talking about how incredible the food was, and how absolutely lovely Hailey and her staff are. During the recent floods of 2023 , this group did a lot to fill the gaps where State Government and Federal Agencies allowed the town to fall through the cracks in the early days. They succeeded in working with the local government, vendors and locals to bring needed relief and supplies to the town and area. If anything says Vermont Strong this place represents it! The food is top notch! My favorite being the Roast beef Sandwich with fresh quality meats, local vegetables and local buns. There's a little intramural competition between local stores and although I've tried many on the road...this is my favorite. Second to that is the boneless wings...great and reasonable. The have some essential items and have bolstered the old bar area with products made by locals. Need a memento or quick gift, Jam, Maple Syrup, Local Wine... this may be your stop.
