The absolute best part of this place is the customer service. We had an awesome conversation. And learned a few good places for local art. The location is very convenient and very cozy for being a truck. The coffee and tea we purchased were good especially for someone trying to be health conscience. read more

FRIENDLY. DELICIOUS. FRESH. This is the cutest little coffee truck. The woman who served us was so kind and the coffee was delicious. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Kauai. read more

The best coffee I have had in Kauai thus far! I love the 48 hour cold brew, and the biscuits are a great perk too. The gal who works here is so sweet. This will be the first coffee shop I recommend to anyone visiting the island! read more

Very friendly service! The barista took the time to tell us about the origin and roasting style of the pour over and espresso beans. It's a drive through but you can also walk up and have a seat at a clean shaded picnic table. Best in Kapaa in my opinion! read more

This little spot is great. The people are super friendly, and the coffee was excellent. Don't waste your money on starbucks, come here and support local and get better quality and service. Will definitely come again! read more

I live in Kapaa. I work at night so I'm not able yo get there before she closes. But I did make it about two months ago. Best coffee I ever had. read more

Great people, great breakfast, and coffee options that I haven't seen in other cafes !

I am sooo picky on my coffee, mainly because I get oat milk with no flavor so I can tell if it's bad coffee. All I can say is I wish I would have found this place sooner on our vacation. One of the best lattes I've had and the service is amazing as well! Definitely worth the drive! read more

Really great latte and great customer service. I got a vanilla honey with cinnamon. Yum!

Positive Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Kapaa, Hawaii

This is our second time here and we ate all of our food before we had a chance to take a picture. I eat plant based; the vegan options from the Viva Vegan Wrap to the Nut butter sandwich were so delicious! And the prices are reasonable. My husband had the Portuguese sausage wrap and he says it is "comfort food to the max". Some of the best he's had. The coffee is amazingly smooth and well done. You just don't ever find all this in one place! It can be a bit of a wait but keep in mind it's an awesome couple running the truck and they stay true to their name "Positive Coffee". The service is always super chill & positive and worth the wait everything! Highly recommend this place! read more

Really outstanding coffee. It's rare to find a place that can do a really good pour over, but PC absolutely nails it. Their 48 hour cold brew is also not to be missed - so good! read more

Don't tout yourself for being the only drive thru coffee and not tend to the people in the car. Waited over 15 minutes for the person to get everyone in the walk up line before still not even coming to our car window. People who got in line after we pulled up were asked for their order before we decided to drive away. Awful oblivious service. read more

Everything is fantastic and i highly recommend coming here as much as you can because there is so much to try! The prices are pretty reasonable as well! The plus is the staff is so amicable and pleasant! Mahalo nui pomaika'i! read more

I don't think I realized this was a little coffee truck (even with photos lol) but I loved it! You can walk up or drive up. The day we came it started pouring! Lol and luckily there was small awning to stand under. The owner was super sweet and made recommendations - we got the cold brew, latte, Portuguese sausage burritos, loco moco burritos, and banana muffin There is some seating under a little canopy where you can enjoy your breakfast before heading back to your home / hotel. read more

Ok. I had high hopes when this spot came up in a search for vegan breakfast. The coffee was ok. Did not hear any grinding of beans ...so for all I know I got a Keurig k cup .. The vedic burrito did not live up to the hype. No house made hot sauce or any hot sauce to be honest. Also ordered the cold morning oats served in a mason jar with fresh fruit and supposedly honey ...very bland again it may have been microwave oatmeal with a few slices of banana, and a few blueberries looked nice but just not a $9 item. The woman taking our order was pleasant but also clearly expected a tip.. Not so positive experience...my kcup at my hotel was a better brew. Table in the shade but I don't know nothing to go back for. read more

This coffee truck is located in a parking lot with plenty of parking available. The owner is so friendly! She took time to review the menu with us and give us suggestions. We tried the iced vanilla latte and cold brew. The latte was good, I usually like mine a little more sweet. The cold brew was a lot more watery and bland than I was expecting. Highly recommend getting the biscuit with mango butter. It was flakey and buttery. The mango butter was perfect amount of sweetness. Keep in mind it can take some time for your order to be ready. They have couple picnic tables behind the truck. I was thrown off when paying they gave tip suggestions that started at 25% up to 35%. It's not a big deal, but just a bit much for an already expensive coffee. Still recommend checking this place out. read more

In todays age of franchise (gag) coffee, this was a fantastic find. I had a delicious Brazilian pour over, but rest assured they have a full menu of "fancier " drinks too. From their IG, it appears that they serve primarily single origin beans. They also serve quite a few breakfast items which are all organic and locally sourced. I had the organic biscuit which highly recommend! There are two outdoor picnic tables as well, and they are meticulously clean! What a plus!! Meredith is absolutely lovely and truly has the aloha spirit! I'm so thankful I found this amazing little coffee truck here in Kapa'a! HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! read more

Cute coffee truck tucked right on the main road through Kapaa. This has to be the best coffee I've ever had! In love with their mocha. Not sweet in a good way and the cacao they use is amazing. My wife had the cacao brew which was also fantastic! Seemed like we weren't the only ones on vacation either who became regulars during their vacation. This place really set the bar for me and I'll only ever be comparing my future coffee with what is positively the best coffee here in Kauai if not this planet for me. read more

Incredible mocha and cold brew. Love the biscuit with jam as well!! You'll leave with a smile. Highly recommend!

Service was great! Super cute little coffee bus and the coffee was great! We will be back while we're still visiting!

Delicious coffee with rustic ambience. Server was very polite and friendly. There's a good variety of coffee to choose from. As with many things in Hawaii, you have be patient to get your treat read more

Great coffee and friendly service! A nice shaded spot behind the truck to relax and sip out drinks.

What a fabulous spot! It is called positive coffee for a reason, the owner was such a delightful soul with wonderful energy. We got a cold brew, iced mocha and shared a biscuit with the best raspberry jam we've ever had. We will be back before we head back to the mainland! read more

Delicious coffee and really yummy breakfast burritos. And they were so helpful in helping us decide which coffee to get.

Our group of six was visiting Kauai from 9/25/2025 to 10/2/2025 and happened to find this coffee place on one of the days. What a lovely experience we had! The service was very polite and efficient, and the ambience was perfect -- the shaded outdoor seating made it so comfortable even though it was a hot, sunny day. The coffee had a nice, strong flavor -- just what we needed. I highly recommend visiting this spot to enjoy some of the best coffee in Kauai. read more

I ordered an iced vanilla latte, came out so watery almost like they double used the shots of coffee.

We found this spot driving around and exploring the island. It's cool looking, lots of shade and benches to relax at. The coffee was good and they have a lot of different and interesting flavor combinations to try. They had some food and snack that looked good as well but i just had the coffee. I'll definitely stop here again my next reip to try some more things. read more

Super friendly staff and delicious coffee and espressos! So glad we stopped by, really convenient drive thru option. Mahalo!

Great vibes from this place. Super friendly, down-to-earth truck where you can get some really solid coffee. The biscuits were also super good. When it's busy it seems to get really busy, but I see the reason behind the hype! Definitely would recommend if you're looking for some breakfast or coffee with good vibes! read more

This place is bomb and the owner is a really nice guy. He cares about coffee and people. Thanks for the good vibes and we wish you the best.

A great unique coffee truck! The coffee was good as well as the latte! We didn't get any of the food when we went so I can't speak on that but the latte was great as well as the pour over. Highly recommend stopping by! read more
