Went here today (Sunday) because my normal nail place (Vanity Nails---5 Stars From me) was closed. Came in to simply get my acrylic nails taken off---nothing else. Was greeted but waited for 15 minutes for someone to come over to where they told me to sit. Then the lady moved me to another chair and began filing the acrylic off. Then moved me again to another chair to soak in acetone. I was ignored basically the whole time my nails were soaking and I even had to ask how long I needed to keep my nails in there. She said "20 minutes if you want healthy nails" and I already had been soaking for 20 minutes and they still hadn't checked my nails. Finally the lady (Lucy I think) called another lady over to finish my nails and was rough while doing it. Also, when I asked how much it would cost to get them removed Lucy said "I don't know"....uhhh you work here you probably should know. Anyways, when i went to pay, she said it was $10 and then charged my card $11. Yea it's a dollar who cares but at least say what you're actually charging me. I ended paying $11 for an hour process that should've taken like 20 minutes. Will not be going back. read more

Kim is an expert at lashes. However, they do not give appointments for lashes. Lashes is not a priority for them so they will give a 20 minute wait after sign in, but if they are busy they make you wait as long as they chose too. After you have waited 20 minutes they will start on another customer. Consideration of customer's time and providing services in a timely manner is a part of professionalism. I will not go there again for that reason. My time is as valuable as all the other customers. read more

Yesterday was my first time because I was recommended to her but when I tried to speak to her she would ignore me and I would ask her to help me color match to the color I wanted and she would say "idk" and when I got up to look for my color to try and color match she went off and she kept telling this one other guy to talk to me ! I really wanted to like this nail salon because the one I usually go to has been going through some staff changes and I'm not too fond of the the new employees. This place is clean and the people are polite, I was actually greeted and asked what I was there for, unlike other salons. I had my nails done by a man that was not gentle or pays attention to detail. When he was using the electric nail file on my nail instead of gliding the machine over the nail he would pick up the file off the nail and bring it back down harshly. Almost like if he was using a paint brush on a wall but crudely. Then when it came time to apply the gel color! Again he did everything so crudely he was getting the gel color on my actual skin. I think my ten year old could've done the same or maybe even better job. I think I'll give this place another chance only because there's a lady there that seems to do a great job, I think her name is Kim. read more

Look I know how important reviews are so here's my Mother's Day experience at this place. Came with my mom & sisters we were seated immediately to get pedi's we asked for the number one which includes hot oil and a hot stone leg message my sister and I did not receive that. We were fine with it as long as they didn't charge us for it. So we brought it to the persons attention and they tried arguing about it. The lady even had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to see the cameras. I said hell yes cause I know you didn't give me a hot stone message & im not trying to steal your dam massage I just don't want to get charged for something I didn't receive. Long story short the place was nice but the service was horrible they don't do everything on the package so make sure you look at what you get also I think they are racist cause a group of about 4 African American girls came in and the lady that was doing my feet kept staring at them with a mean demeanor this place is not worth your money! read more

I went to get a mani & pedi gel set and I've never been here, I usually go to all star nails. Worst decision I've made! So Ive grown my eyebrows out for about 7 months and the lady was so persistent on doing them, she sets up my feet station then goes to the back like come here I'll do your eyebrows. I was confused because I'm like I didn't ask for this. My birthday is coming up so I just allowed her to do them. I'm very upset!! all my eyebrows are gone she tried to make them look like tattoo and I don't appreciate that. I told her to keep them thick, they are not even and I have a large space in the middle. My feet were poorly done as well, they bled, she rushed through, and on a scale I'd say 3. My nails are so tender she made me bleed so much they had to put powder and wait till it stopped bleeding to keep polishing. My overall experience wasn't serene. I don't like how the lady was so persistent it was weird. No means No. I'll never come here again!! read more

This place is horrible BEWARE!!!! My girlfriend just went here to give them a try (I wish we would've read the Yelp reviews first) Simple manicure and pedicure. Wendy took the pedicure and butchered my girlfriends big toe. She cut here so bad that she had tears in her eyes. We should've just left at that point. Instead after Wendy was done butchering her toe we went over and sat down with Kim to get the manicure done. She started my girlfriends nails and seemed very uninterested with the complaints about how bad her toe was hurting. Then she gets up in the middle of the manicure to go do a eyebrow way (who the hell does that?) Left us sitting there, after about ten minutes we got up and went and told the owner, "Kim's husband" He seemed very uninterested in our complaints as well, so we walked out of that butcher place they call a nail shop and hope all people read these reviews before going there. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! They better hope her toe does not get infected. read more

This is a must read I don't want anyone to go through what I went through..I just went to this nail shop and I had a terrible experience. Me and my cousin went to get our nails done. Mind you I have been here a few times before and never had any problems. So when it came to my turn the lady was drilling my nails and she drilled on the side of my finger. So I pulled my hand away and said ouch. Then she looked at me and said you don't need to do that speak nice to me. Then I told her but you hurt me that's why I pulled away. So then after i went to wash my hands then she asked me what color and I told her the name. she came back at me no what number so I told her and after that I explained that I wanted the 2 middle fingers one color and the others a different. So as she starts painting one of the middle fingers once she finished she motions to take my other hand and I told her no I wanted both of the middle fingers painted. She then starts screaming at me and points her finger in my face and tells me to stopping talking to her with an attitude then starts getting in my face. She was screaming so loud that the whole store turned around to look and the manager, I believe, had to run over, not walk, to get in between me and the lady. The situation was handled so unprofessionally she didn't need to yell at me that way. I did not have an attitude. Once she did that I just grabbed my stuff and left because I was not ok how I was treated as a customer and she made me feel like I did something so wrong that she felt that she needed to talk to me in that way. Anybody's natural reaction is to pull away and make a face when your hurt. I just feel if she interpreted how I acted in a bad way she should have handed me off to someone else to maintain peace and keep it professional. read more

My complaint, why do these Antelope Valley nail salons only have one person with the skills to do nails. The skill level in this nail salon on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the best is a 2, only the owner knows how to do a satisfactory set of nails. This time I came in and asking for a full short set and a manicure, for some reason the technicians do not know how to do a manicure and a full set in the same sitting or I guess the health of your natural nails is not important. It is as if they just skip over the procedures to do a manicure and just want to put on the new set. As Helen who was my technician this last and final time applied the power all over my cuticles making my nail bed look extra wide. I expressed my opinion and she cop's an attitude and of course starts to speak in her native language. So end the end I paid my $38 and got on.
