One of my friends suggested this place so I called the day before and I made an appointment. I arrived for my appointment on time and was seen right away by Peter who was highly recommended to me. I showed a picture and requested overlay. I was flexible. I understand my nail bed isn't the largest and the heart and jewel wouldn't fit. So I encouraged the tech to freestyle. It could have been great...she was very polite but this is a rushed job. The client waiting was more important. It's ok. I'll never go back. What was most frustrating is I heard them complaining about the tip. But how can I adequately tip when I wasted my money. My nails are ugly lol. read more

I always receive great service. The salon is very clean and the girls there are always very nice and polite.

The only reason I gave them 1 Star is because I couldn't give zero. The lady that did my pedicure over filed my toes and cracked my big toe. And she didn't say a thing ( i was distracted talking with my sister). Which I never have cracked a toe nail in half. The gel polish was messy and lumpy and she didn't clean it up around the cuticles. Don't waste your money at this place. Unless you want dishonesty and crappy service. Just had a terrible pedicure! I didn't get a great look at it before I left the shop unfortunately. There was a lot of dead cuticle material left on my toes. Also the polish they used never dried. I've had this happen before. I think they use the gel polish as regular polish and figure you won't notice. It just peeled off my toenails a couple of hours later. I'm cleaning up the cuticles the best as I can and will re-polish them myself. Very frustrating!! read more

I just left there, after having to ask the lady to smooth a couple of jagged edges. When I got home I noticed there was polish on my skin around several nails. Worst French tip pedicure, but somehow most expensive? Paid $55 for the royal pedicure (they charged me $5 extra for French tip). Didn't trim my toenails, French tip lines were horribly uneven, didn't even go all the way to the edge of the toe. Did not put any pink as the base of my French tip either, and slapped chunky top coat on top. Not to mention she didn't take off all the polish from my last pedicure, which was orange. The job in terms of paint and results were pretty sloppy for the price point. I paid $55 plus $10 tip just so I could get the hell out of there. The staff seems to be tired and uninspired which makes me sad, hence why I chose not to put up a fight about paying. I'm just incredibly disappointed. I can see why my friends no longer get services done here. I'm now happily getting a fresh pedicure up the street on 50th and L at Bliss Nails. read more

I came in for a gel polish change, terrible service and terrible job. They charged me 50$ i will never go back and never recommend anyone to this salon. That really makes it worse that it would take 1.5 hours to do a polish change . In witch it did not. The techs didn't recommend anything. I could have just gotten a mani/pedi for the same price. This was my first time coming to this nail salon. The service was friendly and the overall cleanliness was good. I ended up getting a #3 combination for both my manicure and pedicure, which was $72 in total, but I think it was totally worth it. They massage you for long periods of time and give you the full works. Granted, for two people coming and getting the same service will be on the expensive side, but for the amount of time and effort that they spend on each person, I think it's worth it. read more

So tired of the crappy massages. Why even offer extra massage if nobody can give a decent one??? I have tried many times to pay for the extra massage but it's just money wasted. They literally just spread lotion on my legs and feet. No pressure at all, no pain relief, no acupressure, NOTHING! I give great tips when service is great but when I specifically choose a service that costs more because it is supposed to include a longer massage and it annoys me more than it relaxes me, your TIP GOES DOWN! And now there is actually a 10 minute massage add on for 12 bucks. What a damn waste! just take it off the menu if nobody can give a halfway decent massage. Aside from the bull crap massage my nails turned out beautiful this time and a very thorough pedicure. read more

I have been coming here for years, I usually stick with one person because every other nail tech I have had there has either rushed through or ignored my concerns as they are working, I went in and wanted to fill one nail with rhinestones and do a simple design on another. I did not have my usual nail tech and not only was she being rude to me simply because I was asking her to check the placements to save both her time and mine, but as she was working she would try and move so quickly to where I couldn't check them until they were stuck on the nail already. I have gotten a full nail of rhinestones plenty of places and they always COVER THE WHOLE NAIL. This lady however didn't ask what size stones I wanted or how I wanted them and just started working so when I was able to see that the entire sides and tip of my nail looked a mess because there was an outline of no rhinestones and I asked her to use smaller ones she said no "because it's the whole nail" so i'm not sure if she just didn't want to take the extra time to use smaller rhinestones but at that this point I was pretty much ready to get the heck out. Not only did I leave unhappy with the mess of rhinestones she slapped on my nails, but as I got in my car I noticed she didn't even drill or clean out the gel paint and outgrown nail underneath on some of them, the sides of the nail from underneath were jagged and getting caught on my clothing so I had the pleasure of going home to try and fix and file them myself after spending almost 4 hours there. Of course the other problems I couldn't even fix myself so now 160 bucks later not including tip, i'll have the pleasure of having to find somewhere else to fix this and find someone who isn't rude because i'm not receiving what I asked for especially when i ask nicely and before it's impossible for her to go back and fix, I wish if she was unable to achieve the very simple style I wanted she would of just said that in which case I would of saved the money I was charged to do that if I knew she would tell me no anytime I wasn't happy w something she did or adleast offer a different idea to better achieve what I was asking for would of been appreciated. read more

I'd love to give a good review, because my nails look great. But being overcharged for my nice nails leaves me with a real bad feeling. Overcharged at $65 for my $45 French-tip fill. There is nothing on their price list with a $65 price tag. Apparently the tech also did a "manicure" (nipped my cuticles) that I did NOT request, adding $15. Oh, and that extra gel coat, too, that I also did not ask for - another add-on. With a cash-only policy, not enough to tip for the decent pedicure so i had to look like a schmuck or overpay again to get cash from their "convenient" atm. I won't be back. read more

I recently moved in to the area and I was looking for a good nail place. I loved my friend's nails and she told me about David at Happy Nails. My nails had gotten really weak due to ongoing gel manicures. I decided to try the Acrylic with Gel Overlay. Its basically an acrylic base and then they put the gel on top. I figured that would prevent my nails from breaking. David did an awesome job. Perfectionist. My nails are perfectly shaped and the application of the polish is impeccable. I will definitely be back! I always ask for Jenny when I get waxed, she's perfect with eyebrows & is completely honest about when you don't need waxing done. She's a hard worker. I usually like to get Que (or just Q) for nails & an occasional facial. She's so caring & sweet! Absolutely nice. Wide selection of colors, designs, etc. for nails. Very sad President's day for me.. I went in this nail salon because I read that they received an award for Best in Palmdale. I went in for my usual gel French manicure. I just assumed every place knows how to do this since its so typical. Well I thought wrong. Once I walked in, all the employees were with a customer and no one even looked up to greet me. I just assumed because they had a sign in sheet. I signed in. Waited 30 minutes since everyone came in for acrylic sets. Once I sat down, the seat was caved in with no cushion. (Ouch) The lady was nice. She didn't speak English well but that is typical for a nail salon. She asked how I wanted my nails filed. I said square round at the ends. She didn't do then right so I asked for the nail file to round the edges. She spoke in her native language. (We all know what that means) Please see my pictures. I came here on a busy Saturday after the 4th of July with my mother in law and was told there wasn't a wait for a pedicure for me and a manicure for her. She was taken back and started right away and I was directed to a chair. I sat in the chair for almost 25 minutes before someone came to work on me. The water the receptionist put in the bowl was cold and she was busy every time she walked past so I couldn't ask her to change it so it would be warmer.
