Was in dire need of a manicure and pedicure today. Found this cute spot on yelp and boy was I pleased I went! They have so many variety of colors to choose from and place doesn't even smell like a nail salon!!! So fresh and clean looking. The technician did an awesome job on my nails and pedicure. Price is pretty good for what u receive. Keep up the great job! read more

Love them. Just go and treat yourself they are great :) SNS is done here. My go to for all things feet and nails :-D

I have gone here many times in the past year with mixed results, but the last two times I went were bad and worse. Specifically, the nail tech ruined my nails by severely filing them to remove gel color. Six months later, I'm still dealing with super thin and brittle nails- they are almost grown out, and I can't wait to not deal with this anymore. I complained during the service about it, because it seemed extreme and also, it began to hurt. The tech said it was because the electric filer was getting hot from use, but I think it was straight up nerve pain from her removing too much of my nail. She said the gel was too thick and wouldn't come off otherwise. I don't see how that's possible. It's the same gel I get all the time that their salon applied. In hindsight, I should have just walked out, but never did I dream it would be this bad. As they grew out, you could see a severe dent from the difference in thickness from the new growth leading into where she filed. You could literally bend my nails forward. This was such an upsetting experience- don't ever let a tech file color off your nails outside a smidge for soaking. Lesson learned. read more

Ambience is nice and clean. Customer service and nail technique horrible. I was truly looking for this to be my new nail spot for SNS gel. Nail technician place the gel powder before cutting and shaping my cuticles She slam the color set on the table when I was trying to re-pick my color to match my toes and make decision. It was rude since I am paying for the service I felt this was undertone aggression. Towards the paying for service she lead for the suggestion that I used the ATM, which she thought I was going to tip her. The charge $3.50 for using your debit card. Never again nice set up they down how do nails. Thank God I am not the one getting married this weekend I truly was about to cry. I hated the way my nails came out. read more

The Posh staff and management are very professional and polite. Posh tended to my needs. The salon is really chic and clean. I had a problem with a gel manicure and the next day I was messaged by the manager to have it fixed right away, I liked how genuine it was when they reached out to me. It made me feel comfortable going back to them. (I Got a gel mani and pedi, I forgot to ask my lady's name, her hair was black in short bob, but she did and amazing job. She took her time and she was very delicate. ) read more

My usual spot was closed for the day so I decided to give this spot a try. I got my usual gel manicure and regular pedicure. Now obviously I'm gonna compare the two spots. So I started off with a pedicure and within 5- 8 mins I was already getting my toes painted. Now I did not pick the "spa pedicure" because I felt like a regular pedicure would suffice but for $18 I expected much longer than that. My spot, although $1 dollar cheaper gives much more of a satisfying pedicure. As for the gel manicure I'm in love. So neat and meticulous. I would say the male technician (didn't get his name) did a great job. I think in this case they paid much more attention to detail than my usual spot. The gel manicure here is $28 bringing my total to $46. While my usual spot is $42. Not much difference in price so I would definitely be coming here again for a gel manicure. read more

i just moved here and needed to find a nail salon after not getting my nails done for months. my issue with my previous nail salons were that they were so rough with my nails and made them paper thin i went today a little nervous but a man did my nails (not sure his name but he sits all the way in the back). he took his time with my nails and was so gentle. best of all, the price was great! i will definitely be coming back! read more

I went here today. And they had really bad customer service. My friend wanted to ask a question and they just kept ignoring her until the third time. And then when she was in the middle of doing my nails, she got a phone call and starting talking on the phone and stopped doing my nails for a while but later she kinda apologized but it felt like she didn't mean it. And then the polish looked all bad with all these marks and I didn't even touch them to ruin them even once. Won't go there again but it was a really nice looking place read more

While my initial experience was great, I had one of my nails break two days after getting them done and when I called to fix it they initially told me it'll be a little wait and when I asked for specifics they said two hours. So now I have a broken nail that I have to spend Valentine's Day with because I wasn't going to wait two hours to fix one nail and I have no other time to fix a nail that shouldn't have broken after two days in the first place. I called two days ago and they said it wouldn't be a problem to come in for one nail. Today is one of my only days off as I work some weekends too (I'm a nurse). If I was told it would be that busy, I would've made an appointment two days ago for a time I could've come. I only had this morning. The whole point of going to get them done the day I did was so that for the day I can celebrate Valentine's Day (which I have to do today early) with nice nails. They shouldn't have been broken after two days and one nail doesn't take that long to do so I shouldn't have to wait two hours after I was already told prior I could just come in. read more

Hunny , I think I found my new nail salon . ; first things first the ambiance walking in is very relaxing . . The seating with the fur on the back of the chair is a nice touch ; the prices are very affordable. The staff are pleasant and enjoyable to talk to . Not only were my nails done to perfection I def will recommend this hidden gem. -- also, a lil tib bit ; they use stones during the pedicures which was new to me and I loved it . read more

The salon is new so I hope to increase my rating to a 4 or 5 Got a spa pedicure ($39) - included a ten min massage, callous removal, leg mask - no complaints with the quality/cleanliness Some of the downfalls: they seemed very understaffed for a weekend day (3 staff members)- which meant no one to greet you in a timely manner and long waits for walk ins Areas they could improve upon: coat rack, beverages besides water and a mini massage while nails/toes are drying (esp after the higher end services) I do love the space, very clean and spacious I will still come back, would like to try some spa services which I am not sure if they are listed read more

Very satisfied with the service here. I suggest you make an appointment since seats are limited due to social distancing efforts. This salon is very clean, they are cleaning the pedicure chairs after each client which is great. Prices are also reasonable. I highly recommend! read more

This is a review about customer service. In terms of price, quality of job, colour selection and cleanliness of the salon I have no qualms and these are the reasons that kept me coming back every week for 6 months up until recently. I have high standards for my nail salon especially after spending nearly 3 years going to Reedchy (5th avenue and 1st). After moving, I needed to find something closer and found Posh. They provide basic services at a good price but it's no frills - no mini massage when you are drying, they don't offer any water/tea and definitely no smile or goodbye when you're leaving. I didn't let this bother me because I like the job they did and it was around the corner from my house. Fast forward 6 months (after becoming a weekly regular). I brought my sister with me and she was getting an acrylic removal and gel manicure. She wasn't seated next to me despite 5 empty tables between us. Also fine. I finished my manicure, dried for 15 mins and then walked over to her - she was nearly done. It was mid-afternoon and the salon was empty, so I decided to wait in one of the massage pedicure chairs. Let's just say I was quickly reprimanded by one of the manicurists that it was only for paying pedicure customers and that I needed to get off the chair immediately. He pulled out a regular chair and demanded I sit on that instead. I was honestly flabbergasted and after reminding him that I come every week, he didn't relent. It was more his approach and hostility toward the situation that bothered me the most and creating a scene over something so minor. I politely told him as I was leaving that I wouldn't be returning for this exact reason. I reminded him that there are dozens of salons on 5th Avenue that I could choose from and they shouldn't treat regular and loyal customers with such ambivalence. Long story short, I find the time to make the 20 minute walk to Reedchy where I'm greeted with a smile, offered tea, massaged while I dry and waved goodbye. Same price, better quality and I leave feeling good about giving my money to a business that earns their customers' loyalty and respect. read more

I love this salon! Not only is it beautiful the owner was so friendly and she did an amazing job on my nails! The prices are fair especially for the area and the pedicure massage with hot stones was incredible. I will definitely be back! read more

I went to this place for a gel pedicure and when I tell you .... my big toe was fine walking into this place and the next day I got an ingrown infected toe nail mind you I paid like 65$ for this lovely infection ... now that I think of it I don't know if the tools she used on me were properly disinfected or the disposable tools that nail spas are supposed to be using now . But yeah my toe is messed up and has been killing me and oozing pus ever since I got my pedicure ... I would show a picture but I'm not trying to bring that grossness here . read more

I love this place, i got a deluxe pedicure which included a 10 minute massage on my calves and feet along with deep moistrizer treatment. It was a little bit more pricy but once and a while I will probably do it. My manicure though surprised me the most, it was well done and it lasted me a whole week without chipping or anything, most regular manicures barely last 3 days. I will for sure be coming back, they must use a high quality top coat. Well worth the money! read more

They are very professional!!! The outside of the store is very clean and so is the inside. They attend to you quickly. I got a manicure and pedicure and it was well worth the money. I came to this nail salon because a friend had told me that they did an incredible job. Being that I was in the area, I decided to give them a try. You are immediately greeted by friendly staff and asked what you'd like done. I was seated quickly with a technician -despite it being the most busy part of the day. I came in for a UV Gel set and pedicure, and I was amazed at the results. My manicure and pedicure looked beautiful and the the hot rock foot massage truly set this salon apart from all of the other salons I have tried in the past. I am happy to know that I went on behalf of my friend's recommendation! I would highly recommend this salon to anyone!! read more

They made me wait 15 minutes even with an appointment. Management avoided me, no apology from anyone, while I waited. All the girls who work here look miserable & depressed. One of the best nail salons I've ever been to! They do good work, are efficient and reasonably priced. They are also very clean!

Came here to do my nails for my 21st birthday and I love it! The place is so beautiful & luxurious, ask for tamy!

I got a spa pedicure and a beautiful gel set on top of my natural nails about a week ago! My nails still look and feel amazing! I'm so happy with Elaine's work, and the time she took to wait for my old gel polish to peel off. I come from a family that actually does nails upstate, and this is the FIRST salon in Brooklyn that lives up to my nail standards. I'm still getting compliments on my nails, I even took a photo to show my mom!! She's been a nail tech for 20+ years!! read more

Awesome atmosphere, never too busy, did have to wait an hour to have my nails soaked in acetone and I have to take 2 trains to get here but other than that the lady did everything I asked and I ended up absolutely loving them. I had such a good experience getting an acrylic fill here. I made an appointment ahead of time and they sat me down right away, although since it was during the day most people didn't have to wait, appointment or no. The service was really fast and professional, and they even corrected a nail that was slightly off-center that a previous salon had messed up. I'll deifnitely be back becaue for the price and the quality of service, you can't beat it. read more

Horrible service by the 1st chair ( which is the owner). One of her staff said something about my cuticles in which she started cutting into them hurtfully. I had to tell her that she was hurting me. After my service was done, she seemed so ashamed in which she didn't even look up. I am not sure if it was because I was late and possibly push back her other appointment. However, I am a very good tipper and I WILL NEVER GO BACK! Use to be my favorite spot however NYC is full of nail salons. Horrible service and staff! D read more

Update: They redid my manicure and it came out much better this time. There was no wait time, even though I was a walk in. It seemed to get busier around 5/5:30 though. Excellent selection of gel and regular nail polish colors. They have some fun iridescent colors as well. The salon is very clean and tastefully decorated. It's huge with plenty of nail stations and pedicure chairs. Their prices are reasonable and they do a good job with eyebrow waxing. This was the second tome I got a gel manicure here and I have mixed feelings. I asked for square nails and my one thumb nail was weirdly shaped. The gel seems less durable than other places I've gone. They don't seal off the edges so i don't think it's going to last as long as it should. The edges already look uneven. Also, it's important to note that the gel color won't necessarily look the same on your nail as it does on the sample. They're on a white background so some colors may seem darker than they actually are. I started with a color that looked dark but when applied was basically clear with glitter. But they were nice enough to let me pick a new polish which I appreciate. Update: it's been less than a week and most of my nails have already chipped. Gel should last several weeks, not several days. read more

This place is amazing! I was looking for a spot near me that I could easily pop into during work breaks and wouldn't break the bank for a once every few weeks uv gel manicure. The prices are extremely reasonable considering we're in "Covid Price hike" times. The owners are great people, super friendly, you feel the welcoming energy as you walk through the door. I'm a type of person who likes to rock different nail colors on each nail & their totally down for it! I've been uncomfortable asking folks before but here they're up for making your vision become a reality! Highly recommend! read more

The person that did my nails did an amazing job! I would come here again and get my nails done with her (I wish I got her name). However, 1 star was taken away from this due to the incompetent track of keeping appointments. There was one worker who kept arguing with me that during the appointment call I made, I stated I wanted pedicures along with acrylics for me and my group. I explicitly stated acrylics only. When we arrived, 3/4 (my friends) got seated and got their nails done, while even though I came in at 5:30, was made to wait until 6:20, regardless of my appointment. So if you want to get just acrylics done AS A GROUP, I would not recommend this place if you don't want to wait around too long. Everything else was fantastic and you should definitely give it a try! read more

Came here to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure.. I usually go to a different salon but I just felt like trying this one out since one of my friends recommended it. Definitely has some pros and cons. As far as the pros, the place is pretty cute and chic. It's definitely up my ally as far as ambience goes. I also love the fact that they have all the matching colors for gel polish and regular polish so you don't have to worry about spending time trying to find a similar color. With that being said, I feel that since the place looks very Lux, the service should be luxurious as well. They don't put oil on your heels after the pedicure, they don't give mini back massages while your nails dry, and they dont use plastic covers on the pedicure tubs. I paid about the same price for this service as I do in my usual salon and I get WAY more out of my usual salon which is super important to me if I'm paying for a service and tipping well. Before I continue with the cons, let me just say I made my appointment with Connie thinking that they would be doing both my manicure and pedicure, but that wasn't the case. When I walked in for my appointment I was told by Connie that he would just be doing my manicure and some other woman would be doing my pedicure which I HATE when salons do that. I like just having one person do my nails. Anyway, I sat down for my pedicure and honestly it sucked. The lady rushed it and ended up cutting my cuticle on one of my toes (which I didn't even say anything about because I get it, mistakes happen) but she also rushed the paint job and it looked pretty sloppy. Connie ended up having to fix it (main reason why I don't like multiple people doing my nails because things like this can be avoided), but yeah the polish was all over the edges and it came out a little clumpy on the nails. She also rushed the foot massage which didn't even feel like a massage, BUT I will say even at the salon I go to normally, they do kind of half ass the massages unless you're regular. My lady I usually go to goes above and beyond so I'm probably just used to that. So yeah pedicure sucked, I feel like she could've done way better but at least my manicure came out amazing. Connie did a super clean job, the shaping of my nail is a little different but I don't mind it, and the polish looks great. The manicure from Connie is probably the only thing that would have me come back and give this place another shot as long as someone else does my pedicure. read more

I've been looking for a salon in the neighborhood (usually go near my office in midtown) and this place is it. The staff are kind and attentive, the space is clean and well taken care of, and my nails look amazing. The cost of services were so reasonable too, shush I always appreciate. I will say it was a bit busier than I expected it to be, but it was a Friday early afternoon. They had me seated quickly, and enough staff on hand to take care of everyone. (THIS UPDATE IS A WEEK LATE AS I'M RETURNING FROM VACATION) for the record, my nails lasted for 4 weeks and could've lasted much longer but I was going on vacation and decided to stop in and get them done again. I arrived at 6:30, 1.5 hours before closing and got a regular pedi and another SNS mani. The lady who did my Pedi took her time and made sure I was satisfied with the paint job before sending me to get my nails done. The gentleman who did my second SNS (nancy did them first) was sooooooo meticulous! My nails grow really fast so this time around I asked him for almond shape and he did them perfectly. KEEP IN MIND by the time he began working on me, there was about 15 min left before closing and there were three other women in chairs getting their nails done. The one thing I like about his style of doing SNS Is that he makes sure the powder goes down, around and underneath the tip of the nail. That way, the entire nail is protected and the SNS doesn't lift from daily wear and tear. He finished me at 8:30, 30 minutes after closing and even let me sit under the drier for my pedicure to make sure it was dry before putting on my sneakers. When I left at 9 pm (still, not rushed, I just decided I was dry enough to leave) there was still two others in the chair and he started on another....another happy experience at Posh Nail. Not to mention they were playing Cardi B new album over the speaker and Lord of the Rings on the Television....Will update again. Hoping 3rd time's a charm... read more

Came here twice and had the same experience. The place itself is very clean, big and has a nice vibe. The first time I went, I waited around 20 minutes. I got up to leave, it was no big deal it was a busy time I didn't mind, and they stopped me and I sat, which was nice but had to wait longer. A girl who was waiting (not in the waiting area) argued that she waited longer than me, so I said no problem and got up and waited another 10 minutes. When it was finally my turn, it felt rushed. She barely scrubbed and by the end of the pedi, it didn't even look like I had one. The manicure was streaky, had bumps and was outside the lines. It looked a LITTLE better when I asked for another coat to cover up the streaks and bumps. I gave the place another chance two weeks later when it was less crowded, but the results were the same. I went back to my usual salon to get it fixed. I'll probably go back because they are nice, I just don't like being rushed. read more
