Over time, I've noticed quite a bit of turnover with the technicians, and unfortunately the overall experience has changed. Most recently, I came in for facial waxing and was surprised by the condition of the waxing room. It didn't feel as clean or sanitary as it has in the past, which is something I really value, especially for services like this. I also want to share a small piece of feedback regarding the experience itself. I understand there is no ill intent, but when clients come in for facial waxing, it can feel uncomfortable to have attention drawn to facial hair. A more discreet, minimal conversation approach would go a long way in making clients feel more at ease. I've also noticed a shift in nail services. 3D designs are more commonly offered now, which is great, but many technicians no longer appear to offer or feel confident with more traditional hand-painted designs. If that's the direction the salon is going, it would be helpful to communicate that more clearly so clients know what to expect. At the current price point, especially when this is meant to be a treat, I do hope to see more consistency in both cleanliness and overall skill level. I truly appreciated what BB Nail Salon used to offer, which is why I wanted to share this feedback. I hope to see some improvements moving forward.

My toes, especially this one, were totally "manhandled". It was the roughest, most painful pedicure I've ever had. The toe was bleeding around the cuticle and red and puffy on the other three sides when I left. I've been using an antibiotic on it since I got home. The woman in the front had let another woman get in for a walk in appointment about 10 minutes before that, stating that the other appointments were a no show so she could get them in. Another girl came in right before the group showed up and they got her in as well. When they were told they would have to wait because they were so late, the girls started complaining to each other about it loudly. I was shocked that their behavior. They had time to go get coffee and get done up to go to the nail salon, but couldn't show up on time and then complained that they had to wait? Self centered, snotty brats is all I could think. About 15 minutes into the service they made me get up and move to a different person. I guess someone else came in and wanted the person who was working on my nails? Never in my life have I been moved around like that especially when I had an appointment and was on time for it. I was shocked. The next person I was passed off to was so incredibly rude I still can't rationalize it. First, she criticized my nails. After she was almost done she was disgusted that my nails were my real nails and not fake tips and acrylics? How is your job to do nails and you can't even tell a REAL nail from a FAKE nail. I am constantly complimented on my nails, people are shocked they are real because they are so healthy and nice looking. She then said they are too long??? I'll post a picture and you can decide for yourself if they are too long. I told her what color I wanted. I said I wanted a bright red and gave her the number on the sample. When she brought it over and started painted my nails she looked at me disgusted and said "you said you wanted red, this is orange" and I said "no, this is red. I want a bright red, not a deep blue toned red. This is what I want". I never asked for her opinion. Clearly she did not like the color but that's not her job. I posted a picture, you can tell me if the color is red or orange. Guess she never learned if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. At the end, my nails were sticky. She didn't wipe them off so I said something and asked if they could be wiped down. This has happened to me before at this location so I always check now. She didn't believe me so she checked for herself and it pissed her off that I was right. At this point I had already decided I'm never coming back here. Finally, they charged me $50 for a gel polish change. No manicure, no design, no shaping, nothing. I am normally charged $25 to $30 for the same service anywhere else. Absolutely do not support this business. It is not appropriate to treat your customers with such distain and rudeness for no reason! I was nothing but punctual and cordial to them.
