I've been coming to BB Nail Salon for about three years now, and it used to be my absolute favorite spot in the area. Over time, I've noticed quite a bit of turnover with the technicians, and unfortunately the overall experience has changed. Most recently, I came in for facial waxing and was surprised by the condition of the waxing room. It didn't feel as clean or sanitary as it has in the past, which is something I really value, especially for services like this. I also want to share a small piece of feedback regarding the experience itself. I understand there is no ill intent, but when clients come in for facial waxing, it can feel uncomfortable to have attention drawn to facial hair. A more discreet, minimal conversation approach would go a long way in making clients feel more at ease. I've also noticed a shift in nail services. 3D designs are more commonly offered now, which is great, but many technicians no longer appear to offer or feel confident with more traditional hand-painted designs. If that's the direction the salon is going, it would be helpful to communicate that more clearly so clients know what to expect. At the current price point, especially when this is meant to be a treat, I do hope to see more consistency in both cleanliness and overall skill level. I truly appreciated what BB Nail Salon used to offer, which is why I wanted to share this feedback. I hope to see some improvements moving forward. read more

I booked a spot for 70$ got there they told it would be 150 for what I wanted. little over priced but I agreed thinking the service would be like the photos on their site. I'm going to be honest I really didn't like my nails despite me asking her to fix things. moral or the story: don't ask for designs and make sure they are holing your finger straight when they put the nails on every single one of my nails was crooked when I left and the design sucked. the girl was friendly and kind but was just not very good at design or prep. respectfully would not go here ever again. did not meet my very low expectations. read more

The guy charged me 85 dollars for short/ medium length, didn't ask about the base color or how I wanted the French , I asked for a specific shape and showed a picture and he did what he wanted, he was rushing and extremely rough, I had to tell him to go over the white with polish because his airbrush gun was awful read more

Great pedicure! The Deluxe included plenty of pampering. There was an incredibly nauseating and overpowering odor (of some sort of nail treatment, I presume) but it either dissipated or I got used to it my the time my treatment started. I went in with an appointment, arrived early to choose a very specific color and was immediately herded off to the pedi station where the tech threw a couple of color swatches at me. I had long natural nails I had grown out for a special occasion and relayed this to the nail tech. She filed them down to nubs. The whole mani/pedi was so rushed, I felt like I was a cow on a farm on hoof trim day. My gel nails were still very tacky when she was finished and looked a week grown out bc the polish is too far from my cuticle. It's a turn and burn place, and used acrylic files were used on my natural nails. I don't recommend this place and won't be back. read more

Personally if I'm going to pay $70 for nails I expect decent customer service and flexible employees. They did a good job on the shaping of the nails but messed up the color because their wasn't great communication before hand on which color I selected. This is the most I've paid for French tip acrylic nails in a while, don't know if I'll be coming back, but if you're willing to pay $70 for acrylics this is a decent place to go. read more

BE SURE YOU ASK WHAT THEY CHARGE BEFORE YOU GET YOUR NAILS DONE! I got a "deluxe" pedicure. Their service list said $55 and I was charged $55. BUT they called an hour later, saying it should have been $75. What?? Then the person said, sorry, I meant $65. Who does that after you've paid the bill?! The website is very misleading with the prices and doesn't match what is given, I bought a pink and white full set, which should be where pink and white acrylic is molded or at least that's what I was under the impression of by every google search I made (there's no descriptions in the website for services) however I was given acrylic with gel, which doesn't match the service I was under the impression of, alright maybe that was a fault on my part. They turned out pretty good, but I honestly felt rushed and there was no cuticle prep at all, not even just pushing it out of the way. I also purchased a gel pedicure for my sister which on the website was 55$ and listed at 40 minutes, the only difference on the website listed between the types of pedicure is the amount of time it takes, her pedicure took 40 minutes but when we were at the checkout we were charged 75$ for the pedicure, when we brought up this concern the ladies became very defensive and kept insisting that's the one we got, I asked them to show the laminate sheet. The pedicure was 55$ and in very small print was "75$ with gel" why is the pedicure listed with gel at 55$ on the website? And why did her pedicure only last 40 minutes?? When we asked this, the lady said "she has small toenails and no calluses." So why wasn't some other part of the service extended to reach the time listed on the sheet? Or why wasn't the price matched to what was on the website. Overall I wouldn't recommend this store because they are very confusing with prices and almost seem secretive with the services you are actually getting. read more

I have been going to Wendy since she was at Chi and once I heard she moved to a new place I had to check it out. First of all the salon beautiful, so clean and elegant. Everyone working was so kind and helped me find colors and what not without making me feel like a burden. And of course Wendy did incredible, she always does exactly what I ask for. I also got a deluxe pedicure (which normally I wouldn't do something like that but for the price I couldn't pass it up) and it was so incredibly relaxing. I highly highly recommend this nail salon, especially as someone who had such a hard time finding a place that was consistently good. read more
